You can also upgrade to Boars Head meat, but I honestly prefer the standard deli meat from Publix. My observation is that most people order regular subs, or the daily special - but an employee showed me the best deal in the house! It sounds confusing, so I'll try to explain :) Subs & Sandwiches: You can order a "whole" or a "half" ... same like Subway. HOWEVER!!! - here's the fun part - you can also order a "whole" or a "half" on regular bread. If you order a WHOLE sandwich on "regular bread" - like wheat, rye, sourdough, or my favorite WHITE MOUNTAIN - they give you TWO WHOLE SANDWICHES that are generously sized :) IN MY OPINION, that's much more fun than any sub. The sandwiches are nicely wrapped and bagged separately. So really, it's like two meals in one!! The sandwiches are always delicious. It's a great, healthy option to all other fast food. Give it a try next time you're at the Tullahoma Publix deli :) I promise, you will love it. Last time I checked I think it was $8.99 for a "whole" - which translates to $8.99 for TWO full sandwiches on regular deli bread. It's delicious and a great deal. Love!

I had been trying to find my EAS AdvantEDGE low carb/high protein drinks and the places that used to have them no longer do... so I was hoping that Publix would. When I moved from Murfreesboro to Shelbyville four years ago, I really missed having a Publix. I've eagerly awaited the opening of this one! From the time one walks in where you're greeted by smiling faces... and handed the latest sales circular... take note Kroger; you who have the worst customer service ever... it was a deluge of happy, smiling employees who were greeting me just like at ALL the Publix stores I've been in. One would ask "Is it because it's a new store?" My answer to that is a resounding "NO!" I've always had a pleasant experience at Publix. Never a grumpy employee to be found, and they will bend over backwards to assist you in whatever it is you need. Looking for my EAS product... horrors!... they didn't have it either. As I was headed to the deli to get a bit of something to eat on the way home... by the way, their subs were rated THE BEST by something or another... sorry I can't remember by whom... I was greeted by a customer service rep who asked how my shopping experience was going. I told her I was a bit perturbed that they didn't have my protein drinks. She, Carla, said we could attempt to rectify that problem if I had a minute or two. Awesomeness! Of course I do! She grabbed a form to fill out with the specifics of what I needed, and it would be turned into the manager and whoever did the ordering. I got a copy and they'd call me if they were able to get it and it arrived. SWEET!!! Again... TAKE THAT, KROGER!!! Headed to the deli area... woooooooo... so sad to be on low carb/keto for once. Must've gained weight from the smells and visuals alone! Got some unbreaded fried chicken wings that were mega delicious! Didn't mess up my meal plan at all. Prices are great. The checkout people are darlings... the baggers as well. I had to laugh. I had my purse, a tiny bag of chicken wings, and a drink... and was asked if I would like assistance to my car. Was I that exhausted looking? (Probably... LOL) It's just how they are at Publix. Smiling. Happy. Ready to assist you at all times. I'm so glad they're open!!!

The store has other items that a supermarkets have and some items can be a bit pricey but somewhat reasonable. The staff are always friendly and enjoy shopping there. The fact that I use SNAP did not stop them from charging my bank account, then waiting for 2 weeks to reimburse me. They treated me like I was the thief, rather than them. It stopped from me from being able to pay my rent on time that month because Kroger stole the money from my bank account. I never got so much as an apology. Now it's happened again. There's always a meat and vegetables option! Even aside from Taco Tuesday! They make and serve food hot and fresh Tuesday night, Friday night and Saturdays- and from what I've experienced during special events. Speaking of which, this is the perfect place to host a private event! It's homey and fresh! The owner and employees go out of their way to make it the best of the best :) Harvest is a place where you go to hangout with your friends for a good time. There's plenty of inside seating but there's seating outside as well! Umbrellas are available to block the suns awesome rays if that's desired! This location is situated just off of 24 in Manchester and has undergone an update in the past few years. They have 5 actual register lanes with the remaining being self check. They do have plenty of staff working the self check areas, but they are not doing much in effort to keep things moving. There was a ton of staff on the floor, but no one interacted at any point. Store looks decent conditionally and the sales floor appears fairly clean. The parking lot needs some attention as there is trash scattered through out and overflowing trash cans. All items I was after were in stock, however the personal items I wanted had cut packaging, clearly from when the stocker was opening the case and sliced the product packaging. Overall, this is your standard Walmart honestly. I came on a mission and accomplished it. I'm not in the area often, but when needed, wouldn't mind stopping in.

I always order fresh fruit because my son's like fresh fruit and every time I get my groceries there's always bad fruit in it just yesterday when I got my groceries, they gave me moldy blackberries. It's a little bit ridiculous. They should definitely get better people in the grocery pick up because they just don't do a great job at all. They don't care they'll tell you things are out and then I'll send somebody in the store and they're not out they're sitting right there on the shelf so I guess it's just whether they're too lazy to go check I'm not sure.

They will be out of stock on certain items for several months before restocking it or just stop selling it altogether, yet leave the space open on the shelf with the label still there. Beyond that, the employees are WAY to touchy-feely with everyone's babies. They literally lean over your child's car seat while you're checking out and touch all over your newborns face with their dirty hands. It's flu and RSV season for God's sake. The flu can KILL infants but they don't understand how to keep their hands to themselves. It's ridiculous. Y'all need to work on that.
