Other than a quick stop to use the (clean) restroom, I did not spend any time or money in this Walmart. They have clear signs that they do not permit overnight parking and I won't patronize a business that could but does not. It is a large supercenter with a gigantic parking lot. It looked clean enough with no litter though the cart corrals needed attention. Menswear section was needing some fluff and fold but was otherwise decently stocked. I passed through the grocery area and it was in good condition with limited "holes" in the shelves. I ended up parking next door at the Cracker Barrel who do tolerate overnight parking. In my experience they don't deserve even a 1. It's 0! I have Walmart + which was ok for a while. They are ALWAYS out of some essential I order and that's not the worst part. They may show up HOURS later than your appointment time which doesn't work for frozen or refrigerated. They want to be Amazon but they're not even close. I give up. Ordered white letter tires, they installed black wall tires, no white letters. They told me that you get whatever you get when you order online. I was pretty much told they could do nothing about it! I recently purchased groceries through the online application. I used my Walmart card to pay for the purchase. Once I saw the charge on my Credit Card . I called Capital One ask why I have a pending charges. Capital One informed me that Walmart started blocking the purchase amount in addition to the purchase. For 7 days.. With social distancing in mind, this weekend I decided to try ordering my groceries via free pickup at Walmart. Ordering was easy to do on their website, and I was able to add things onto my order later, which was pretty awesome! Once we pulled into the pickup parking spot and gave our order number our groceries were quickly brought out and loaded. I received most of my ordered grocery items, and several unavailable items were substituted with very similar products. Unfortunately chicken, beef, and sugar were sold out, but right now that is to be expected. I'll definitely be ordering groceries through free pick up again. Walmart customer service is a joke. So the website says money services is open at 6 AM and I got here just before 7 Only to wait in a non existent line for 30 minutes to be told that they don't open till 8. Someone from the customer service center helped someone in front of me only to completely ignore me after she finished with the person in front of me. She went to the back and you could hear her chuckle at the fact that she just ignored me. Not to mention don't ever work here because my wife worked in cakes and started getting bad arthritis and even had a doctors note that they couldn't make cakes anymore... I visited the phar area to inquire about where I could find Tea Tree oil and was told to look in an aisle different from what was in the online app. After feeling like I was going to pass out( I suffer from anxiety& the store is very overwhelming) I walked back and asked for help of the same person and was told that 'they close in 3 minutes'. I shared this with the person as well. I also explained that this was my first time in this store. When I say I wanted to cry after being dismissed by her the after thought of this experience makes my blood pressure rise. Her coworker came from behind the counter, walked with me & helped me locate it on a different aisle. I am Black, the woman I spoke to looked Black and her coworker looks white. I recently relocated here and was just stunned for a lack of better words. It's the only Walmart in Salisbury, NC. It's went down hill ever since it's opened in that area. Lots of crime in that area. I don't advise going past 7:30 p.m at night. The parking lot has a lot of lights that don't work and no security. The check out lines are Horrible here at this location. They will only have 1-2 at most open on one side. Yesterday I had went into Walmart in order to get a Sim card, a ginger dreaded girl, told me after I paid for sim card it wasn't going to work. I went up to customer service to go get a refund and then went back to electronic section to go get a Verizon SIM card she claimed that the Verizon Sim card was compatible with my phone, mind you didn't show me the screen or nothing. In the end, we wasted about two hours because she didn't know what she was doing, as well as jumping from customer to customer. We then went to Verizon and was told that it was not come back with them so we stayed there for another hour and it turned out the phone was compatible with AT&T, I just feel like if you don't know what you're doing then it's OK to say that but with me and I sure as everybody else does not like their time wasted it like that read more

Said she had to tag my items first. I HAD A RECEIPT ! Told her this procedure stinks, she says of course " I don't make the rules". I detest this type of treatment. The Walmart in Salisbury is the worse store I have ever been to. The store isI dirty and always Understocked. Most of the staff aren't interested in helping you at all. Anytime i have ever asked for help in locating something., I'm told that they don't normally work this department . Many of the staff that work there also complain about how awful their store is. The cigarette case has been broken and Locked for over a month now while they are waiting for a locksmith to come in and fix It. The bathrooms are filthy and disgusting. The other day was in there doing some grocery shopping and an item I frequently buy was no longer on the shelf, I searched and searched and Yup it was gone. It was early in the morning still and the store was not yet too busy, so I went to customer service and the young girl in there no idea what I was talking about nor did she know how to even go about finding if the item was something they were no longer carrying. A manager happen to come in when I was talking to her... at this point he told me oh, that item is carried in pharmacy, I tried to explain that yes though that was the same brand, it wasn't the same product(and that I double checked over there just in case), he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Salisbury Location is the WORST walmart I have ever been in. My 8 month pregnant fiance went there for Christmas Decor, she grabbed 2 ornaments for our soon to be baby girl. Upon checking out she was followed to the exit by undercover security and was asked to come with her. She followed and answered all questions. She was told that they needed to pat her down that she was attempting to steal. Her being 8 months pregnant she told them NO you are not going to rub me down, I didnt do anything wrong. Upon arguing with her and bringing her to tears she was told that if she didnt allow them to pat her down she would be banned from all Walmarts nationwide. My fiance has never stolen a thing in her life so to be harrassed like this was a shock. Her photo was taken and she was told to never return. My family has worked for walmart over 20 years and this is the most disgusting thing I have ever heard of. I havent been to a walmart since and I dont plan too, I wish Salisbury walmart would be bulldozed. It's your typical Walmart, except the manager is an outright asshole that will use Walmart.com to check the price on an item that is supposed to be on sale (was supposed to be $3 rather than $14.88 but gave an error when ringing up), then take an item from you and tell you either you can pay full price for it (when it's supposed to be on sale and you have a different style of the same item that rang up for the sale price correctly) or leave and not come back. All that after it took him 15 minutes to show up after an associate called for him 3 times. Most Walmarts will give you the benefit of the doubt, but not this one with its moron of a manager. Go to another Walmart in the area if you can, or don't believe it when something is on "rollback" and you should be ok. read more

It's far from my Fredonia/Dunkirk Walmart in WNY,but it's still a decent one. Odd how I could go from hotel to Cracker Barrel to Walmart without ever going onto a street! I purchased water and Jolly Rancher hard candy for the training I was giving and I can assure you it was cheaper there then the hotel water bottle prices by far! I was out with my brother Robert to get some items for his home. We were looking for a refrigerator and other items. We received excellent help by the Associates of the store with directions and even getting assistance from Customer Service for watching our other items while we continued to do some grocery shopping. No stars. Filthy, dirty, unkept, rude people and completely shabby. I detest Walmart and so I am not a regular customer. We picked up a cake for my daughter's baby, a birthday cake. The bathroom was filthy with open soap dispensers without soap, the toilets had not flushed automatically, they were broken, so gross, and the only reasonable stall had a no lock so the door had to be held shut with a foot. The fllor was gritty and dirty and finally, someone opened a tea, drank a third of it, and put it back in the cooler. No one had even checked the cooler. Disgusting! Why not go to Target folks? Clean, friendly people who are helpful and ask what you need are nearly the norm. Skip this Walmart for sure. read more

Do not place a pickup order ever at the Salisbury Walmart. I placed an order on Friday, May 15 for 2 items; a baseball tee and diapers. When my items were not ready until Saturday afternoon I canceled the diapers. On Saturday I received an email stating the tee was ready for pickup but the diapers were delayed: No problem didn't need them anymore. When I arrived at the store at 3:30pm, I pulled into a pickup spot and called the number on the sign. It rang about 20 times with no answer. Some came to my window about 5 minutes after I pulled up and asked for my name. She said she would pull the order and be right back. 30 minutes later I again called the number on the sign. After about 15 rings someone did answer and I asked if I could just come in and get my item. Yes, no problem! I walked to the back of the store to the pickup sign only to find pickup had been moved to the front of the store. Sign didn't say where in the front so I headed to the customer service desk. After waiting in line and then stepping to a register with 2 employees that were helping a customer previously I was told, not nicely at all, by another employee that had just walked up she was the only one doing customer service and I would have to wait until she finished with the person in front of me. Once it was my turn with her I asked if this was the placed to pickup an online order and was told NO! That was at the gray door. Okay, where is the gray door? That way. As I was almost back at the door I came in, I saw a gray door with a sign that said if you need help press button. I pressed the button many times and no one came. Looking around there were 3 managers (all in yellow vests) and 2 employees right behind me at the lottery machine all buying lottery tickets!!! All very close to each other and no one wearing any masks. No employee in the store had a mask on. None of the 3 cashiers at the 20 registers or anyone I saw. In my frustration, I said this place sucks. One of the managers yelled back at me, don't yell in my ear!!! I was waking by her just standing there buying lottery tickets and it may have seemed to her I was yelling at her but I was just venting my frustration. Frustration quickly turned into a are you kidding me moment. The two girls at the service desk that could not help me came up and said they were there to help. It took them forever to find my order of 1 baseball tee and I even had the order number on my phone for them to scan. It is now 5:30pm!!!!!!!!!! Today, Wednesday, May 20 I had to go pickup my other item, the diapers! They took full payment out of my bank on Monday. Okay I will go pick them up and return them at the same time and get my money back!!!!! NOPE!!!! When I go to the service desk again right before 7, there were 3 managers there and 2 employees BUT I was told they were closed! When I gave a look of confusion, she said they were open until 6pm. I did say but Wal-Mart is open until midnight. Holding the big box of diapers, she didn't ask if I had a problem, if something was wrong with the item or if I was having a good day??? Nothing but we are closed and we reopen at 9am tomorrow. This Wal-Mart needs managers that actually do their jobs and know how to conduct themselves with the general public. This Wal-Mart need so much!!! This Wal-Mart needs you to never place an order for pickup. This Wal-Mart doesn't need ANY of my money ever again!!! Associates came to the car a number of times asking our name. They said this isn't yours. They asked if we were T. Miller, and we said correct last name, but not T. Finally they said they can't find our order! I'm sure T. Miller received our order. I received an emailed receipt of my order, while waiting on my order! Then, they charged my credit card for the order!! After waiting for 1.5 to 1.75 hours! Are you kidding me!! Now, I have the stress of trying to get this charge reversed! This happened to my daughter as well! and "may a manager contact you?". This will never happen, as they have only gotten worse, and don't want to deal with it.
