As I approached one employee to ask a question, she looked me up and down, and walked away! Now, I'm not dressed like Martha Stewart on a day out but I'm not complete bum material either. I shrugged it off and took my purchase to the register. The cashier, Janice, was very chatty with the people in front of me, to the point of slowing down the line enough to make one woman walk away. She was smiling, happy, and seemed very friendly. When I got to the register, I said "hello, how are you today?" and got a "Hi, Will you be paying with your Peebles charge?" "No, I have a gift card" she sighed like it was a problem and when I told her I had a coupon, well, she just scanned it and told me the price. No "thank you, no have a nice day" Just handed me my bag and looked past me to the next person. Seriously?! I checked to make sure my teeth were clean and I nothing hanging out of my nose when I got in the car! There is really no reason to be snotty to customers no matter how they are paying for something. I usually overlook little things but it's not the first time I've seen this kind of snobby behavior by the employees here. I won't be back. There are other nice boutiques in the area who will gladly take my money with a smile.

We then walked across to a different shoe store & the young lady inside said that the manager at Cole Haan makes up her own hours & that they're always closing early and opening late. That's inconvenient but whatever. They clearly don't need the sales, and their shoes are overpriced anyway IMO. He was able to find the shoes he liked for less online. I won't be going back although they had some cute shoes in there. If you go, make sure that you go way before 7 pm.
