Had big hopes for the Vineyard Vines outlet. For the most part, it didn't disappoint. This is a true outlet with VV merch, not one of those supposed outlets with lower quality clothing that looks similar to the brand's regular stores. They had a lot of stuff crammed in, so plan to spend some time. It is well merchandised, though, so it's not a pain to find what you want. The prices weren't bad, but they weren't great. The "outlet price" is not much of a sale - $60 price on a pair of $75 shorts, for example. I don't think most things were less expensive than a good sale in one of the regular stores or on the VV website. The day I was there, most things were buy two, get one free, which is the kind of sale that drives me crazy because you're stuck buying more or less than you might want in order to get the supposed "deal." Case in point: I picked out four items but ended up putting one back because I wouldn't get a discount on a fourth item and didn't want to buy six. They also had some sale items an additional 50% off that were excluded from the B2G1 promo. Then, they had some items that were excluded from all promos, which apparently were not well marked because I heard two customers expressing their dismay when they were cashing out at the register. All these games with the pricing wear me out! They had a better selection of women's and children's clothing than most of the VV stores I've visited, and of course the men's is the star of the show. Sizing is spotty. If you wear a smaller size or a larger one, you will have better luck here. We average folks have less luck. They also had some home goods and gifty wares, which was cool.
