Went and bought a Samsung TV last night. Got it home and the screen was shattered. Took it back and picked a different model Samsung TV. Asked Electronics team if we could open it to make certain this one was not shattered, too. Was told that store policy prohibits opening the box to make certain tv not busted. We got second TV home and it, too, was shattered. Took it back and customer service stated there is NO store policy about not opening boxes. Took our business to Costco, who opened the box and allayed our concerns. Our new Samsung is plugged in, connected, and looks great. Shame on you, Walmart! read more

I haven't shopped that much at this Walmart but I have been here enough to get an idea on how it works. This review compares this Walmart with other Walmarts and other comparable stores. I have bought groceries, garden supplies, household and beauty products. And a really good kayak. While, I am not a fan of Walmart. Big stores come into smaller towns and hurt small business that can't compete with their low prices but they offer things we can't find at other stores. They still aren't great for workers. Also, according to internet sources, they have the worst health care policies in all of corporate America-considering the high profits the store makes. Please don't come to this Walmart. The Manager Michelle is so rude, while I was on my way to the restroom she was doing nothing but gossiping away with her staff (All women). Instead of gossiping away about nothing important why don't you actually do your job and ensure that the customers are being helped. Also, she should do a spot check on the parking lot. I've lived here for 2 years and shopped there plenty of times, only to recently start to notice tabs being kept on me and my location in the store. Walmart Supercenter - Still on hold with Walmart pharmacy! - Grocery Near Me - Roseburg, Oregon

For so many years the only store that fit the bill of a Walmart was Fred Meyer. Then came along Walmart, bigger in every way possible (square footage, parking area, etc). All in all this place isn't bad (maybe with the exception of Black Friday - Christmas - I know that is different now a days, but they used to be PACKED on Black Friday). It's one of the few places in the area that allows you to shop for just about anything all under one roof. They have the food side as well as the everything else side, we've all been at Walmart so no breakdown coming as to what they offer. The store itself is typically pretty clean and shelves or pretty well stocked (they run out of stuff from time to time, just like anyone else). Staff are friendly enough, typically interactions only happen at checkout, but if you need something and ask for help, they tend to be pretty helpful. Nothing really outstanding as bad from this location and on the flip side nothing that stands out as exceptional - but in this case a good middle of the road 3 star review isn't a bad thing. read more

This store is an absolute disaster. The employees are either extremely rude or they are so stressed out that they have become downright unkind. The employees have themselves reported to me that they're work. Environment has become what they consider toxic and unhealthy. The management of the store is one-sided and rude. I have unfortunately had to deal with the store manager when one of the employees decided to attack me with shopping carts over a parking space. A police report and a report with DDI and Spark were filed because of this behavior. The manager came to the parking lot and told me not to touch any store property i.e. the shopping carts. Quite possibly the only decent employees are those that deal with delivery. For the most part, they are all courteous of your time and the customers. I will continue to file more negative reports towards the store as I see fit. This management needs to be removed and replaced. read more

1. After days of insisting that a surgeon's staff and the insurance company were improperly sending prescriptions, the pharmacy tech finally admitted that the drug was out of stock. The nurse sent my Rx to Costco and it was filled immediately. 2. For another prescription, the pharmacy insisted they processed the billing to our insurance provider and charged us a copay. I checked GoodRx and Walmart charged us the full retail, which even exceeded other retail outlets. We'll never use this pharmacy again! read more

This was the worst experience i have had at this walmart ever. The cashier rang up my items and bagged them. I , what I thought, put every bag in my cart as noted by her ring of bags she was using. I got to my car went through what i had and i was missing some items. I went back to ask the cashier who said she had given me all my items which was not true and she would not let me exam the bags on her ring of bags she was very defensive so guess walmart hires thievin cashiers i guess . so i have banned this walmart forever. read more

Employees modify mask by cutting off chin straps allowing the masks to flop around as they move. Others cover their mouth but not their nose. I am a stock holder and a retired Respiratory Therapist with comorbidity. These practices must stop. It is extremely dangerous. Walmart is liable for inaction. read more

We went to a the electronics section to look at buying a phone, there were 2 older ladies working and as soon as they saw us looking at the phones, they both disappeared in the back. I order an order from Walmart.com come to find out it did not even come from WalMart. this order was not even opened so I returned it. Now I get a bill from Reddaway for $753.10 and then walmart first adjustment on the order was $157.26 but now they went down to $ 63.65 for the adjustment. Why would reddaway be involved when walmart should of shipped to my local store. They also have there own walmart trucks. Now come to find out it come from builders depot. So how in the hell when you order from Walmart it ends up in the hands of builders depot. read more

Absolutely, hands down the WORST customer service! The associate who answered the phone had an unpleasant tone and was curt and rude. Her name you ask, I do not know she did not say and gave me no time to ask. The associate she transferred me to was precisely the same and then some. When she placed me on hold to supposedly look for the item I had inquired about, the phone was dropped on a counter, line left open so I could hear the not so delightful sound of the register in my ear and people chattering for 3 minutes and 23 seconds. I called back to speak to the manager on duty and was left on hold for over 17 minutes without anyone returning to my call. Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Not a single ounce of pleasantries. It is of no surprise the Roseburg, OR Walmart has a 3.7 star overall review. If there was a lower rating than one star, I would have chosen it. read more

Aug. 21, 2020. This afternoon I counted 7 adult customers inside the Roseburg store without any face covering on at all (and those were only the ones I saw and I was only in a portion of the store) and numerous other customers who had masks on but their gators or masks were pulled down around their neck or chins. Walmart provides a way for customers who say they have health reasons they can not wear a face covering to shop by picking their items up outside, so only customers with face coverings should be inside the store based on the state mandated guidelines. If you are concerned about shopping at a store that does enforce the mandate to wear a face covering you need to realize there is a lack from management to require customers to follow the state mandate of wearing a face covering inside the Roseburg store. They may be walking in the front door of the store with a mask, but once they are inside the store they seem to be free to roam the aisles without a face covering or wearing it hanging down below their noses/chins. (The low rating is a result of allowing folks to be inside the store without a face covering.) read more

I am so highly disappointed with Walmart, I bought two phones both had problems from the start. Try to take him back they wouldn't have anything to do with Exchange and it was in the first 2 weeks a purchase. I also purchased an iPad and could not get it working. Took it to Apple in Eugene and they could not get it working. Return to Walmart and they would not do anything about the problem. They said I could not return it because I had it over two weeks the limit for returns on electronic equipment. That's not what the customer service sign said as far as returns. I am stuck with a $320 iPad that I cannot use. Back to Costco where they treat their customers fairly. read more

I recently bought new glasses from the Roseburg Walmart store. When they arrived, I couldn't see with them. After returning at least 5 times for adjustments, I still couldn't read with them. They told me after 3 or 4 times that they could have the lenses replaced if nothing else helped. Yesterday they refused to do anything. They cost half of my Social Security payment for this month & I got nothing. I don't see how they stay in business with their policies. read more

I was trying to return cans to get my deposit back. most the machines were broken. One machine was full and need to be emptied. That left one machine in use and it too would fill. There were a line of people. Someone before me had gone to get assistance to empty the full machine. Customer service had one woman working and a very long line. I waited prob ten mins to ask to have the can bin emptied. The full machine never got emptied the one working machine got full and the can returns came to a halt. I was so frustrated I left. I then called Walmart on the phone and let them know that it was the state law to accept the cans. The woman on the phone did not seem to care and hung up on me. I then call back and was able to speak with a manager. The manager was quick to blame the state. I am disappointed. As the biggest store in town they have a responsibility to the community accept returnables. People could use the money and might even spend it in their store. The can returns do not help their bottom line, and that is all that maters when dealing with a company of this size. read more

Walmart is always an easy place to shop because you can get everything for a cheap price and in the same location. Those are two very important things. The third most important in my opinion is costumer service. For Walmart its been a hit and miss. But today it was a huge hit. Alley (my cashier) was a wonderful help! she put up with my craziness over saving and my coupons and listened to me blab on, while working efficiently and making me laugh. I remember this Walmart vividly. The floor glistened like water, the air smelled of artificial lemons. My eyes wore heavy, as it was three in the morning. I made my way to the back of the store, the citrus stench grew weaker as reeking fish became more apparent. My pupils dilated, as if I were staring at my ex wife, Pam. But this time it wasn't Pam, it wont ever be. It was the fish, the beautiful aquatic animals. I prefer the Walmart aquarium over PetCo any day, the employees are much less attentive to my ritual in which the general public may call "strange". My core started to become warm as I looked at them. The fish are the only creatures who know how to make me happy, besides Pam. As I gazed upon the sparkling fish, their scales dancing in perfect sync with their delicate form. I saw something peculiar. Two fish in particular, one about half the size of the other, were chasing each other around in an unfamiliar way. My curiosity grew to sheer terror as the larger fish started nipping at the fledgling's tail. The nipping turned to biting and chomping and crunching as the aquatic cannibal made a meal out of him. In a heartbroken blur, I turned away and stumbled as far as I could before I collapsed, tears overcoming me. Pam, if you're reading this, please call me or something. I'm lost without you. P.S. I have a fish fetish. The moral of this story is, please feed your fish more so they don't convert to cannibalism. read more
