Lord give me strength these people are unreal So my 16 year old needed new tires for her car she herself bought 4 at this Walmart.com made the appointment for 9am we get there before that as we listen to the girl helping someone in front of us that they only have two technicians that showed up today and I asked behind her, I said well I hope not because I have a 9 o'clock appointment for tires and she said oh no, we have plenty for tires. This is for oil changes OK so she gives my daughter something to scan to check our progress as we go along so we start to do our shopping through Walmart and it says about 15 minutes later that the car is in progress wonderful by the time we get done it was literally almost an hour worth of shopping we get back there and as I am going out the back door what do I see is my daughters car still sitting there in the parking lot as its saying it's being done, so I turn around and I go back inside and I ask why my daughters car is sitting there when I see the technician doing someone else's tires on a white vehicle that was not there before I got there this morning so then I asked for the manager and he cannot explain this, so he goes back and I can see him going back-and-forth with his employee then comes back and says I'm sorry your car is next up. I said that's bull crap my car should've been the first one up as of now I'm calling corporate so I called corporate and lo and behold they say that they're going to do something and call the store manager and blah blah blah so about an hour later I get a call that my daughters car is done so basically they did nothing. This Walmart has gone downhill so much in the last three years shop somewhere else. read more

Ya, I shop Walmart. They have some of the best prices in Punta Gorda and very nice checkout people. Lots of reasonable priced home items as well. Not sure if I recall a garden section but they could seriously bank some big bucks if they did and undercut Home Depot. read more

Much nicer than the other Walmarts, Prices are very good. Clean store, they don't always have everything I need, but I understand because of covid many things are hard to get. Could use more cashiers though. Not everyone wants to go to self-check, especially the older folks with large orders. read more

This Wal-Mart is sooooooo much cleaner than many others that I have been to. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is nice but not extremely willing to help. My only real issue is that this location doesn't have as much of a selection as other locations. I went to find specific items and I couldn't find half of the items I was looking for. It was pretty frustrating. Other than that though, it's a decent location to go to. B-! read more

Employees seem very stressed. seems like none of the employees want to help you or even engage in a conversation when you do they send 3 or 4 security people surround you! This store will not hesitate to rip you off. Bought a video game from here and got it home to find not the video game disc but the DVD movie Fools Gold. I went to exchange the game (within 20 minutes of purchasing it) and the store manager, Dale, gave me some lame excuse that since I bought the game sealed, it was Microsoft's responsibility to replace it. Later that day, another friend of mine purchased another game from the store only to get the DVD movie Harold and Kumar Go to Whitecastle. The store exchanged the game for her, no problem. Taking the higher ground, I contacted Microsoft. The Microsoft agent confirmed that it was indeed Walmart's responsibility to exchange the game. Omg!! We just moved to the Punta Gorda and I forgot to transfer my prescriptions from my old Walmart pharmacy to this pharmacy by our new house. I called in and the pharmacist said, "Can you hold?" and didn't even give me the option to say yes.... she just put me on hold! I then waited 9 minutes and 45 seconds only for her to get on the phone and be short with ME!! What??? As if I wasn't already frustrated enough waiting on hold that long for her to be rude with me. Then when she asked my information, she asked very abruptly and even interrupted me several times. Then when she said they would get them transferred over and it would be 24 hours, I said thank you and she just hung up! I hope this is not a sign of what I'm going to have to deal with every time I get my prescriptions!!! read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO AUTOMOTIVE DEPARTMENT!!! I spent over 700$ I new front tires and a oil change at this walmart, the day before I had just had my breaks done at quick lube they did a 360 of my vehicle and there was no damage to my car that next day walmart did a oil change and put front tires along with a balance during them working on my car they drove my car onto a lift that wasn't completely down scratching the hole underneath of my car doing a total of 1,079.89 worth of damage after seeing and hearing the damage I immediately spoke with the automotive manager, his words to me were "yes We have been having problems with the guys in the garage doing damage, I can offer you 500$ to not go threw corporate" after getting an estimate on my vehicle and finding out the amount of damage they did, I decided that it was a claim for corporate after making my report to the claims department I was informed the manager in automotive denied all involvement in my case stating he never spoke with me about the issues that they have been having along with denying the damage done to my car. I asked for the video of the work done to my vehicle due to the fact I will be making a legal case of this they also denied my request for the video Take it from someone who has time and money I wouldn't spend a cent of it ever again at this junk yard garage Wal-Mart center if it was the last place to buy tires on earth, they hire very unprofessional people and they are scam artists read more

Walmart doesn't have the best reputation when it comes to customer service and shoppers. But this particular location is not a typical Walmart. Had an amazing experience today. Very clean, no shady people, employees were nice and very helpful. I noticed many people left reviewed on here who weren't happy with how slow employees are. Keep in mind Punta Gorda is a retirement town, hence most employees are older folks. Everybody wants fast and quality service but nobody wants to pay for that. Everything comes at a price. read more

If you are doing anything in the auto care Center prepare for a longer than needed wait. Employees and even the manager don't know how to do simple warranty replacements. It took us about an hour each time we went in today (two times). Usually only one lady there, it's way to busy for them. read more

Walmart is Walmart. They pretty much have what we need, the staff is very helpful in finding things or knowing where things are when you ask. I like the fact that I can order items on Walmart.com and have them sent to the store for pick-up without paying shipping charges. The people in the nail salon are very nice and do a very good job on manicures/pedicures at a very reasonable price. Good selection in the Garden Supply. Found a Meyer lemon tree for $20.00. Also Robert in the Subway Shop made us awesome sandwiches on Tuesday 6/30/2015. He was very friendly and courteous. read more

Ordered photos like I do all the time and this time I was very dissatisfied. I got a phone call from a personal cell phone went to vmail, could not understand the man at all. He said my photos were ready for pick up. So I went in the next day to get them After 2 woman in Electronics could not find them (they were rude and treated me like I didn't know what I was doing) I went home. I was angry that I drove there and nobody could find my photos, also I tried to call the number back and this number that called me the day before was an employee's personal cell phone. Not only is this unprofessional but now some creepy man has my cell phone number. I called spoke to Sue and Natalia, I was interrupted a few times but I was told my pictures were there and ready. After all this Walmart needs to know, there are other places to get photos done at, and without customers Walmart has NO jobs. My husband went to the pharmacy for our Tamiflu. Someone in pharmacy told him to come back at 3 for medicine. He went back at 3 and they told him his prescription was wrong but mine was Ok. So he said "ok I will pick up my wife's then". The pharmacist replied "well it doesn't matter we are out of it anyway." She then proceeded to tell him he would have to call around and see who has it. Not helpful at all. Could care less that people are sick and have the flu and are exhausted yet she sends them on a wild goose chase to get what they need. Heartless and uncaring. Had the worst buying experience with the Auto center, Purchased 4 new tires, from the moment they were installed had balance issues and major vibration driving my truck, mind you, No problem with truck before getting the new tires installed. Brought it back 4 times within a month, still didn't fix vibration of new tires. had to bring to Walt's Garage in Punta Gorda to finally fix the tires. every log nut on my truck was loose and not balanced right, also they found were Walmart damaged my rear drive shaft, it had a huge scratch and small dent form them putting new tires on truck. brought it to Walmart's attention and they didn't do anything for me and said it was impossible for any of that to happen. Zero customer service and would not stand behind any of there work or damage they did to my Truck. I even had to pay Walt's Garage to actually do what Walmart was payed to do and I gave them 5 opportunities to fix what they did, felt I was very patient with Walmart, to be screwed in the end. All the managers were just covering there Asses and refused to do the right thing. Never will use the Auto Center again and will tell everyone about my experience. read more

Every time someone tries to send money the clerk does not put the middle name, and then the money order doesn't send properly. without the middle name it won't send. If you would Teach your clerks how to do their jobs properly your reviews would still be high instead of low. How many times do we have to complain for you to fix an issue. read more

Auto Service Center - went in for an oil change, waited in the store. After a while, I check back and find out the service wasnt performed due to tech unable to remove oil plug. Invoice showed the words "leak". Hmmm....car wasnt leaking oil prior to it being dropped off. Also, would be nice if someone called me to advise no service was going to be done, since they do ask for the customers phone number and spending unproductive hours at walmart isnt something I normally care to do. OR would have been nice if it would have been explained to me that now my car is leaking oil!!!!! At any rate, now I am looking at a approx $450 repair job to replace the oil pan. AND still need the oil changed.... read more
