Beyond all doubt this is the worst Walmart in the entire USA. The operator answers the 'phone promptly but neither customer service nor the grocery department answered when I was "connected" to them. What is going on? I tried calling each department 5 times (yes, 5), and each time waited more than 7 minutes for someone to pick up the 'phone in either the customer service department or the grocery department. Dreadful indeed. The store manager needs to take a long, hard look at the staff in both of these departments. I am a completely dissatisfied ex-customer. This is no way to ensure customer loyalty, meaning no way for certain staff members to expect to keep their job. read more

This Walmart is pretty nice and I think it's a bit bigger than the other Walmart in town, but the issue is definitely with the staff. My fiancée and I came to this particular Walmart because it was the only store that carried WD-40 for electronics, you know, one of the many items they keep behind glass and you need an employee to come and unlock it for you. My fiancée and I stood in hardware for about 15 minutes waiting for someone to come. I pressed the "help" button about 5 times before we decided to leave the store with the intention to come back later and try again. When we did come back there was already a family standing in the same aisle looking frustrated like we most likely did, pressing the button and waiting for someone to come help. A group of employees started walking down the aisle, heading for the back, and when we asked for their assistance each one of them were going on break I guess and couldn't be bothered. So we continued to wait and press the button until finally someone came out to help. When we told him what we wanted he rolled his eyes and said nothing. My fiancée also told him that we appreciated his help and he still said nothing and opened the glass for us like we were bothering him. It's a real shame that not only do we have to spend about half an hour or so in the store for a shopping trip that should have only taken 5 minutes but then we have an employee roll his eyes at us like he had better things to do than to help us get the item we needed from behind the glass after we were obviously being ignored the entire time we waited for someone to come and help. read more

I bought a Beautyrest air mattress from this location last night. It was one of the air mattresses in the lock box. So when I went to inflate the air mattress and check it out to make sure everything is fine and see how it feels I noticed there was a hole in it as well as duck tape around the edges, dirt on the mattress itself and a long strand of hair. The pump sticker was also falling off which made me think that it had been used before, keep in mind there was no official seal on this box. It was taped, which should've been my first red flag, but I didn't think much of it. I wasted my lunch break trying to resolve this one issue. I tried to come to a resolution, but I was told that they can't take it back and that the exchange that I make has to be exact value (I was trying to get a mattress that was 60 bucks) I understand somethings are policy and cannot be changed or altered regardless of the person, but I am frustrated because I feel like nobody was really trying to help and instead of trying to understand my issue I was completely brushed off and told "we don't do returns on air mattresses". When obviously, somebody returned this, otherwise I have no idea how it has duck tape on the sides and a hole on the mattress, which defeats the purpose of an air mattress. Maybe beauty rest needs to do better quality control? read more

This is the most disgusting store I've ever shopped at in my life and I'm 70 years old it's a terrible story the employees are totally rude and burned out the store is so crowded with clutter of junk from China that you can't even get anywhere in the store without bumping into something or bumping into someone the parking lot is a total disaster and if you look at the people that come out not one of them are smiling they're stressed to the top of their limits their prices are not that cheap their shelves are mostly empty of stock and their selection is very poor especially in the coffee section I'm done I will never shop at Walmart ever again. read more

Never really had a problem with this Walmart. Spacious, clean, got in and out and got what I needed. Photo center as always has high quality prints. Got my cars oil/lubed here and the auto department did a good job as well. Nice location on Dillon--central to the theatre, mall, and highway. read more

This only pertains to the Auto Center: Had two of my tires changed recently and asked for a tire rotation as well. It ended up taking 2 hours (miscommunication on their part?) for this to happen when normally it takes about 30 minutes, especially if no other cars are being serviced. 2 hours later I just wanted to go home. Me being naive and leaving before thoroughly checking everything (lesson learned here!), I only noticed my older tires had NOT been rotated, had not even been fully inflated, and were one was missing its little black tire pump cap, while the other 3 tires had their tire caps loosely fitted and were about to fall off. At this point I honestly wonder if my tires are on fully. I was told to go to Walmart for good/decent auto-care, but I personally can't trust a service that doesn't thoroughly check everything is tightened. Maybe they hired some new technicians, but even in that case it shows poor oversight. read more

Update from a terrible 1 star review: Self checkouts take cash now, still not enough cashiers but at least they finally bought some carts now so their shopping experience has improved. Their customer service has also improved but the some of the staff, especially security will profile and harass you. If you're a person of color you'll probably get stalked around the store - it's happened to me and I've seen it happen to others. They don't take Apple Pay. Bags are 10 cents a piece. Too many things are secured and it will take forever to get some help. Sometimes they close at 10:30 but if you cause a scene they let you in so I don't get it? read more

I had no intention of buying anything as I aimlessly walked the Walmart aisles waiting for my car tire to be replaced from an unfortunate event that happened hundreds of miles away in Rotan, NM the day before. It was a blessing in disguise that the Electronics associate, Mr. Filbert, was attentive and took the initiative to ask if I needed any help. Our conversation progressed to lighthearted speak of both our prior military experience. I realized afterwards how much his attentiveness & kindness through conversation impacted me that day and I'm sure influenced me to continue my drive to my destination (driving time alone, one way was 19+hours) in a much better frame of mind. I even ended up buying a great deal ($15) of a phone case (much better quality and price than the one I had my eye on browsing online) so it was a win-win that day for everyone! I bought good year tires here with the warranty for free tire rotation and balancing. What a mistake. Went to get it done three times and couldn't get helped. Waited the last time 15 minutes to get even checked in. No one ever came and then went into the counter and was told that he would take care of it but never did and then had to go back into counter again. Finally got my car moved in and have now waited an hour and no one has still touched it. A company like Wal Mart can't even hire a staff and the customer gets screwed when it comes to service. I will never be back to the service department. Thats probably why they sell the warranty to make more of their billions because they know you won't be back. They only care about the original sale. We desperately needed some desitin for our baby who developed a rash. We arrived at 5 minutes until closing but were told that corporate was closing the store early so that employees wouldn't be working overtime. If you close at 11:50 or 11:55 you should state that instead of turning customers away and blaming it on corporate. This review ONLY pertains to the manner in which two managers handled a situation that took place this evening with a customer that experienced a theft while shopping in the store. The customer was a disabled woman who was shopping alone with a handicapped cart as well as a regular buggy. She was waiting at the benches near the vending machines on the Grocery Entrance. I was seated across from her, and she explained to me her situation. Her cane had been stolen. She was well aware that Wal Mart is not responsible for theft of personal property. Her wish was to receive some sort of assistance, acknowledgement of the crime, etc. After waiting for some time, two managers approached her, Ramone and Sheree. Ramone told her that Wal Mart isn't responsible, and they walked away after that commentary without offering to call law enforcement, check the video cameras, etc. The customer became distraught after they left, and I approached staff to ask for the names of the managers. This poor woman was struggling just to get her groceries, experienced a theft of personal property, and was treated poorly into the bargain. Wal Mart customers are the purpose of this business, not the interruption of it, and as such, should be treated with respect. Every customer that walks through that door that purchases items there pay for the salaries of the aforementioned staff as well as the two managers that treated her with disdain. I have sent a complaint to the Wal Mart Corporate offices. This is not how paying customers should be treated at any business. read more

I find employees are often gathered to gossip and ignore shoppers, this is true at all WalMarts as they feel shoppers are sheep who will com back anyway. I will never return to this walmart. I tried to use formula checks from Enfamil and Similac today. The cashier didn't know how to apply the checks, so she called over a "manager." She stated that I had to do 5 separate transactions because the checks stated "one per purchase." I tried to explain to her that means one per item in coupon-speak, not one per transaction. She refused to listen. I even tried to show her a regular coupon, which all coupons state in the fine print "one per purchase." She ended up calling over 2 or 3 more "managers" who of course all sided with her against me. I ended up having to do 5 separate transactions and was humiliated when they started hollering at the people in line behind me "we have a problem here, move to the other register!" In my embarrassment, I didn't notice that they overcharged me $50 for the formula. After spending almost 20 minutes in line trying to pay, I went home and reviewed my receipt. I had to return to the site and wait 20+ minutes in line for customer service. I explained the situation to the young ladies working there and they stated I WAS RIGHT and they were very sorry. The "manager" who ended up screwing up my shopping trip was the one who had to approve my refund. No apology or admitting she was wrong. I wish the refund had to come out of her pocket. I will be notifying corporate of my experience and driving out to Pueblo West Walmart from now on. read more

Went today to get a handful of items. As soon as I got in I grabbed my cart and looked down into it to see trash and a dirty wipe. Went to get another one. I wasn't greeted by any of the employees here. I felt very unwelcomed. As I was looking for some items and needed help I saw a couple employees gossiping. I visually needed help and was walking towards them and they just walked away. Went to the make up isle after I got everything I needed. The lady made me check out there, which I understood. Instead of being helpful she only rang up my mascara and not the other items and had me check out up front. I did that. I walked to my car, mind you I am a woman alone and began getting cat called by a man. I ignored the man and put my groceries away. I turned around and he was behind me and said I was rude for not acknowledging him. I work in customer service and I was very disappointed with the treatment I received here. I also did not feel safe in the parking lot and it was mid day. This Walmart is always packed, staff is never ever friendly, and there is a low sense of security. I don't shop at Walmart often and today I was reminded why. read more

I shop at Walmart 4200 Dillon Drive, I've shopped there for years. It's a good store. When I go I have something there that really concerns me. Outside there is a sign that says No Loitering, and yet most times there is a homeless woman that sits on the sidewalk right under that very sign. She has been there for years. I have even seen her in the winter time ! ! None of the staff asks her to leave. I wish they would ask her to move. It makes me very uncomfortable. read more

I have a theme going on today, which is that the stores on the north side of Pueblo are better than the stores on the south side. No exception here. This is the north side Walmart. It's my preferred Walmart. It's clean and bright and well stocked, which is pretty much all you can ask from a Walmart. But let me tell you about something that happened last week: I lost my purse in the parking lot. I left it in the cart when I put the cart back. Because I'm stupid. The manager scoured the parking lot and the carts looking for my purse. She was very friendly and understanding. She didn't find it, but that wasn't on her. She tried really hard. She told me to check back, as my phone was in my purse, so she had no way to tell me if it showed up. And it did show up. Someone found my purse and phone and called my ICE contact, my sister, who was camping, so she called Moms and Moms sent me a Facebook message. I went back to the Walmart where I got a big smile and thumbs up from the woman at customer service, who was helping someone else when I showed up. Everyone was so helpful and nice and I appreciated it because I was having a very bad day. read more

Stopped by this morning to but a few gallons of paint. An assistant manager helped me, and the process was very pleasant. HOWEVER - a lid on one of the cans was not secured properly, and I now have about half of a gallon of latex pain sloshing around the back of my car. I called the store to speak with a manager about the incident, but was put on hold for over seven minutes without speaking with anyone. Extremely disappointed, and rather upset at the prospect of reupholstering part of my vehicle. read more

I like to shop very early, last week at 6 am I was in the store on Dillon dr. I had a full cart and there was only 'Self check-out' lines open, so I wasn't sure how to check out with a huge cart full, because I know you need to set you items in the bagging area, so I asked the Associate and she was extra nice and proceeded to ring and bag my entire cart and loaded all in my cart too, and did it in about 5 minutes, I've just moved here from the 'Springs' and I must say The service and just all around great attitude of the Associates at this store is nothing less then 'Outstanding' I have no less then 4 associates ask me if I need help during my average visit, It's GREAT. First time buying a Rib Eye steak and it was bad. The presentation looks pretty at the meat counter, don't let that fool you. The Rib Eye was so tough and had no flavor. If I didn't know better I would think it was a Top Sirloin or even a flank steak it was so tough. read more
