It is just down the road in Canon City, closer to the main road in a building that looks as though it was once a Western wear store or something along those lines. The old downtown location is now empty although the sign's still up, so perhaps the move is very recent. Anyway. It was highly organized and the staff was friendly on our visit. However, the clothing was weirdly priced. You could find a really nice sweater in great shape for $2.49 next to a ratty faded nightgown priced at $5.99. Some of the men's jeans and pants were more than ten bucks (and not name brands or new). I buy a lot of secondhand dresses but there was zilch to be found here...every dress was a grandma flavor prairie gown or a glitzy formal! The store's changing rooms were nice and clean. I bought a great Mossimo bag, super cute and clearly never used, for $2.97 which was my find of the day. The religious overtones in the store were way too heavy for us, especially the loud piped-in Christian music which lent an overly dramatic air to our thrift shopping jaunt. They have a huge selection of various sodas (including offbeat stuff like birch beer) and jarred goods that are clearly from a regional company but looked really intriguing (jalapeno eggs for example). To be clear, the foodstuff is all sold up front and this store's so clean & up to date, it has a chain store vibe.

It is stuffed full of everything under the sun - collectibles, kitchen items, furniture, second hand tools and appliances and more. It is sort of a hunt to find what you want, but there is some organization to it (but that is the fun of antiquing)! We found nice clamps for our shop and a beautiful large art piece. We enjoyed walking through and will definitely be back! It is the biggest shop of its type in Cañon.

This is a place where practically everything in the store is valuable to me, but still surprisingly affordable. They have stacks and stacks of LPs and 45s that are in practically mint condition. Most of them look unused and they are almost all under $10. We bought Supertramp and 2 Tom Petty albums that rock. They also have costume jewelry like earrings, bracelets, necklaces and so on from many decades ago. And they have vintage hats, dresses and other clothing items as well. I tell you it's my heaven. But, then I saw their old cameras. I love collecting these things for some reason. This place had the accordion style cameras and an 8 mm video machine. I'm not telling you how much because next time I'm down there I'm buying them. Or maybe I'm getting them for my birthday... Anyway, the shop is run by a lovely, helpful older lady who genuinely cares about the quality of stuff she sells. And she doesn't try to hugely up the prices. If you're ever down this way stop in. Or if you're looking for a good day trip Canon City isn't a bad option. Just make sure you go on Saturday so you can have an Owl Burger because they are closed on Sundays.

I had delivery the very next day, with no problem. Ryan, had the new machine up and going in 20 minutes! I am impressed with Drydens and will use them in the future for our Stardust Plaza Apartments complex.

We needed to return the coffee table we bought that day and lucked out and found one at the showroom that would work better for our situation, otherwise we would have had to pay a stiff "restocking fee" which was our only concern.
