The Walmart in Pembroke NC is by far the worst one my family and I has stopped at. The managers and workers are the worst. They messed up on my orders they would not fix it nor refund me plus having the worst attitude. They have so many complaints yet nobody is doing anything bout it. They even messed up my phone card, did not give me a receipt and would not look it up nor refund me with that as well. A worker there told me they have done that a lot with other customers also. I went to Walmart in lumberton and the manager there was the best. She was so helpful and so polite. She even said they got a lot of complaints bout the one in Pembroke. Will never go to the one in Pembroke again. read more

3 stars for, "A-Okay." The most empty of any Walmart Supercenters I have ever seen. 10:30am in the morning till 11am I saw 1 other customer who came in to make 5 copies of keys. Most employees milling about, chatting with each other. They were nice enough to say hello, but none asked if they could help me, as I passed through the aisles. I initially came in to change out a flat tire, and window shopped as I waited. As for the choices of tires they had in stock for my Honda Civic; $44-$72 choices. Sounds good if there was a decent choice among them. They were sub par, but having a flat with only a doughnut to travel 450 miles to get home, I had no choice. I did see they carried Goodyear Eagles, if they only would fit my common provincial car. The good part about seeing no other customers meant no waiting, so my tire was replaced in 30 minutes. read more

This is the last resort Walmart I choose for shopping. It the closest to where I live, but the worst atmosphere and customer service. I will drive 30 miles one way not to shop here. This town is already notorious for not welcoming certain ethnic groups and cultures; so when you go inside you feel the same vibe. They won't even greet you when you enter the doors except this one gentleman... sweet as pie. They make you feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. read more

Neat, clean store. Actually has correct stock, compared to what is reflected online. Drove over from Laurinburg, because our store was shown to have item in stock online, and once we went, it was nowhere to be found, and everyone working there was clueless, as usual. Really wish we didn't have to drive 25-30 minutes to come to this location. read more

Every time I go here, there are twenty checkout lanes and only 1-2 are open and the lines are really long. Service is pretty much non-existent, which is standard for a Walmart. Local stores provide much better service. read more

Why is there always only one or two registers open. If there are not enough cashiers the check yourself out stations should be open.
