I'm staying in a nearby hotel and needed to pick up a few things, then returned later in the day to pick up the things I forgot. This store was very clean and well organized. The items I was looking for were in stock, yay! What stood out to me the most is how friendly the cashier was! So cheerful and certainly the friendliest employee I have ever interacted with at any Aldi's location. She definitely made me feel valued as a customer. Highly recommend this Aldi location.

When I shop at a store where I am paying for the privilege of being a customer I expect the…read morecustomer service to be attentive, courteous and to strive to provide the best shopping experience possible. We were visiting family in Owensboro this weekend so I decided to see if this small town Sams Club could do what the THREE clubs in the Nashville area failed to do (almost resulting in my family canceling our membership and never shopping here again). Before I explain let me start by saying Tammy at the service desk in Owensboro was not only friendly and personable, she took particular personal attention to filling my order and making sure I got exactly what I wanted. The service she provided was a breath of fresh air after dealing with the aforementioned stores in Nashville. For three months I have been trying to get a case of Cafe pizza dough. We were planning a "make your own pizza" party but making that much dough in a home kitchen can be quite difficult. Using our Sams app we found a case of dough and ordered online as usual. To say the Nashville stores fell short of fulfilling our order is an understatement. When we arrived at the scheduled time to pick up our order we decided to walk around the store a bit before picking the order up. As we were browsing we got a text saying our order had been cancelled. Keep in mind it takes us 30 minutes to get to the Hendersonville location. When we approached the online order pickup desk the clerk told us that they didn't have any in stock. She called the cafe manager who claimed she didn't have any but had ordered it and it would be there in a couple days. She said we should call back in a few days to see if it has arrived. Somewhat disappointed, but understanding we did as requested. Now I'm not going to stretch out an already long review, but let's just say over the course of three months we were repeatedly lied to, misinformed and experienced a level of uncaring service rarely seen in the retail industry. We were repeatedly told "We have none in stock, but have it ordered" , "We are no longer carrying this item", "We still carry this item but have none in stock and none ordered" (after months of hearing it was on order), "we can make a special order for you, expect a call in a few days" " we don't do special orders" .... you see my point. I should be noted that this entire time the item was still shown online as in stock yet after three months of trying we still had not gotten our pizza dough. It became a mission to see if it even existed. The Customer Service employees at Hendersonville Tn location really need to do some soul searching and decide if actually serving the customer (as implied by their job title) is something they are capable of doing. So while visiting Owensboro we giggled as we made the same exact online order that we made at the three Nashville locations. Imagine our surprise when the next morning we got a text saying our order had been filled and was ready for pickup. When we arrived at the counter, Tammy called to the back to have our case brought to the front. You can imagine how disappointing it was when the wrong box was brought up. "Here we go again".... and we had already paid, so let's get our refund and give up.... When we told Tammy it was the wrong item, she looked at the box and said "I didn't think it was the right box"" I personally put that pink box on the rack" ( PINK BOX !!! That's the one we have been trying to get all these months!!!) She called to the back and low and behold the clerk arrived with our pink box of dough. Imagine how happy we were. We have been customers of Sams for 20 years and we're on the verge of canceling our membership. Thank You Owensboro Sams Club and especially Tammy for excellent service and the personal attention to making sure we got exactly what we ordered. The pizzas turned out great and I don't know, but after all the confusion perhaps the struggle made the event all the more satisfying!! Great Job Owensboro Sams and Tammy !!! Thank You !!

This isn't just a place to fill up your tank; it's a genuinely pleasant pit stop that resets your travel mood. First, the cleanliness is always good. From the moment you pull up, the pump area is spotless--no overflowing bins or sticky residue, which is shockingly common elsewhere. More importantly, the restrooms are always clean. They clearly take hygiene seriously, which, for a traveler, or someone often taking road trips like myself, this is a huge sign of respect for their customers. The staff is for the most part has always been exceptional. Every employee I've encountered has been friendly, quick, and genuinely helpful. They engage with customers and seem to enjoy their jobs considering their friendliness. This makes my transactions fast and pleasant. Beyond the fuel (which is always priced competitively for the area), the amenities are top-notch. Their coffee bar is fantastic--freshly brewed, with a variety of syrups and creamers that rival a dedicated coffee shop. The selection of road trip snacks is vast, and they even carry a small selection of fresh, refrigerated sandwiches and fruit cups that are perfect for a quick, healthy lunch on the go. FiveStar is my default choice now as often as possible. It's consistent, clean, friendly, and efficient. It sets a standard for what a convenience store and fueling station should be. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area!

I've been living out this way 30+ years personally, and it's nice to have places around that make you childhood memories come to life, a place where the generational families, farmers, and residences can be found hanging out while grabbing a bite to eat. Fond memories of my husband and I grabbing a bite to eat with our best friend during the hay bailing season before moving some hay to the house from his farm while he would take a break from the tractor on those humid weeks before his passing. Our family has also stopped in for a quick meal, or snacks and drinks on our ATV or horseback riding rides many times in the past! It's nice to have something like this out our way, and it's close to Sandy Watkins Park! They offer a fairly large menu option as far as breakfast to lunch. Items like the the Breakfast Special, which consists of biscuits, gravy, sausage, and egg all mixed together, double cheeseburger, club sandwiches, grilled cheese, fish sandwiches, pimento cheese sandwiches, B.L.T, barbecue, hot wings, and even basket meals. It's really such a variety, and everyone has something, in my opinion! (I've attached the menu). Also, I want to say everyone who's working when we stop in is always super friendly, and if you want to stop in and take a load off, there is seating for that, too!
