What makes this place special however is their back issue selection. The options were limitless and, in my opinion, rivaled many comic stores I've visited in the New York/New Jersey area where I live. The staff was also extremely friendly and readily available to answer any questions that you might have - something I appreciated because knowledge of the inventory is important in a store like this. I definitely intend to make this spot a regular destination for myself anytime I travel back to the Evansville area. I definitely recommend that you do so as well.

It was a real shame because I had found about 45-50 issues that I wanted to buy, but there's no way I'm paying $4.00 for a comic that should go for $1.00. Heck, I would even have gone up to $1.75 per issue simply because there were so many that I was looking for. The two stars this store deserves are for (1) friendly service and (2) good selection. Yet neither of these makes up for trying to rip off customers. What a shame.

The selection for used single issue comics is massive, but the selection for new releases as well as trades is always very limited, so if there is something specific you want, it's best to add it to a pull list otherwise you miss out. The prices on everything is usually pretty good, but be wary on some of the singles. It's not very often that a single is outwardly expensive compared to its market price, but every now and then you may overpay. Im a seasoned collector, but if I look at the business from the point of view as a new comic book collector, I would say that the shop could use a bit of growing. The staff, as I said, is very friendly, but they could definitely do a bit better at making conversation easier with new faces. Overall, I think if you're new to collecting, just go inside and ask questions. Be honest and say you don't know what you're doing. Several of them will be more than happy to help. Finally, I would like to see a more expansive selection of trades. When I used to go there, there was always 2-3 shelves full of trades and now it's one manga and one trades. I love manga, but there are trades I'd really rather buy from a small business instead of going to say Barnes and noble.

Came to pick it up after release and it was 100 % marked up. Over $200. Told them our situation and the owner made it $180 for the misunderstanding. We were loyal customers since opening but no longer. Anything to do with trading cards you will be over charged regardless of what they originally tell you. They see what it's going for the moment they get them in vs when you preordered and expect you to pay that price. It's bad business.
