Any time I'm in Bowling Green I try to stop by Mellow Matt's because I always find something cool whether a great used record I've been looking for, a movie or a CD. Well I previously reviewed this place favorably. After subsequent visits I can't anymore…read more First off, they charge $10 more for a helicopter than the manufacturers website and a whopping $30 more than Amazon! Peeling back the price sticker reveals a sticker for $20 less than they had it marked up to - which would have been a fair price, still $10 more than Amazon. Also lists things in stock they don't have. When I purchased a battery to go with a helicopter, I asked them to open the box and make sure they gave me the correct batteries as I was new to the format and wasn't sure what I needed. They assured me "this one will work". It didn't even have the same connector type or discharge rate. On a second purchase they didn't have any of the batteries I needed. Mostly it's the huge price differences that got me. $30 more than Amazon for a $170 heli is insane, especially when it's marked up from Horizon Hobby's website. Everyone who works there is friendly so they get two stars.

Pro Tip: Turn left when you enter the driveway, as it's the building all the way to the left and not the first building you see. We almost left, thinking it was closed. The Good: *The older gentleman running the counter was very friendly and welcoming. *I love these antique malls with tons of different stuff from multiple vendors. I could get lost in a place like this for hours. *Prices seem fair for the most part. The Meh: *$1 surcharge on cc transactions The Ugly: *Might be the smallest antique mall I've ever visited. TLDR: Not the biggest antique mall, but still a great spot for antiquing while in the Bowling Green.

We methodically worked our way from the front door around the store, through the sale area and toward the dressing rooms, our arms full of clothing we were excited to try on. We were abruptly stopped by a young blonde worker who informed us the dressing rooms were locked and she couldn't open them because it was ten minutes before closing time. Seriously? There was someone still trying clothes in a dressing room, three ladies coming in the front door and not even quite ten minutes til the top of the hour. Plus, you literally watched me gathering clothes and working my way to the dressing room. Why didn't you tell me sooner?? The worker said 'well I can hold them for you until tomorrow'. First, I live 100 miles away; and second, I can try them on faster than you can fill out the hold paperwork. I don't believe I've ever had such a negative customer service experience especially when the store itself was so amazing :(
