Always a fun time. They keep games on rotation and they always work. Fun place to shop for comics too.

We loved the retro arcade. I took my son and nephews there and they loved it as well. Great price to play unlimited games for an hour. The had a good selection of games to chose from as well. The store is also good we didn't spend a lot of time in their because our visit was about the arcade. They do have a good selection of action figures and retro games to choose from. read more

My 16 year old son purchased a PS 3 (I think it was a 3) and immediately returned it before leaving the parking lot. When he got to the car he realized it came with a knock off controller and the game he got was an empty case. They charged him a 20% restocking fee to return the merchandise. He said for $32 all he got was a receipt. Wow! What a way to do business. We have played video games and shopped here for years. Not sure we will be back. read more

Cool vintage toy store. Quite a variety from Joes to MOTU and more. We enjoyed looking around. Prices are on point to EBay/retail so you are not likely to discover some discount gem but if you are looking for a certain item for your collection they likely can help you out. It's not huge, so we were there around 20-30 minutes. Nice store, would recommend if you are a toy collector. read more

I want apologize to the people at Secret HQ. Especially the owner. We had an exchage of words and I gave them a bad review that was undeserved. It came from my misunderstanding of what he meant. I will say he could have explained the situation to me better since I'm a plebe when it comes to comics and there values. It's a great place. The prices are good. The comic books are organized very well. The store is clean and inviting. The game room is great. And the staff is knowledgeable about their craft. I was confused and didn't want to listen. It's no secret: the customer service here is abysmal. Staff doesn't follow through on commitments, and the owner/manager seems to have the short term memory of a fish. I went around the corner to Comic Quest and they were much more helpful. read more

This place is truly great. Whether you are into arcade games, platform games, comics, toys, or other fun collectibles, this is the shop. You should get there early for new release comics, or have them hold for you. Really cool place! read more

What a fun place! They have vintage comic books, tons of nostalgic toys (mostly from the 80s), and other nerdy goodies, but the real draw (for me anyway) is the arcade. It's a largish room filled with old-school arcade consoles. For just five bucks you can play unlimited for an hour. There's also a row of flatscreen TVs set up with old school video game systems like Nintendo, Super Nintendo, etc. and a large collection of games you can play. I don't remember the rates, but it's a similar deal - pay a low flat rate and play unlimited for a certain amount of time. Not sure what they're planning on using it for, but there's also a cool sitting area in the back with a giant TV. Movie screenings perhaps? It sounds like they have some fun events planned, at any rate. Basically this place is like a grown-up version of playing at your coolest friend's house who had all the best games and toys. i havent gotten to come as much as i like to lately but i been many many many times, to buy and sell. the staff is great and always welcoming, they always have good inventory and i try to not leave empty handed but sometimes i just come to browse when im bored. one of my favorite things about this place is the location, its only a few minute drive from my house so its so convenient. they are always doing stuff like gaming tournaments and sometimes they have a movie on the weekend. i love going here. i hope to always see this place when i drive down 1st ave. read more
