My and my wife were shopping at Walmart at north east Md. a few days ago and an employee her name was (Bubcuts in front of us and starts ripping our bags open and saying we didn't scan 1/2 of our stuff in front of everyone there . We called the manager on duty and told her to check the cameras and 30 mins later she's comes back and apologizes for the actions of her employee saying that we did scan everything in our shopping cart. The reason we upset is that this has happen more than once to us at this location. Please let me know if I can sue them so they will not assume that people are thieves without proof . read more

I've had maybe one good trip to this Walmart....i remember being a little younger & being followed a lot by employees...im older now & actually prefer target...but I had to stop at this Walmart today. Was shopping minding my business, asked an employee a simple question & she went ballistic! Was calling me out my name, told me to "meet her outside" & then ran into the back room near the cleaning products isle. I was so confused...went to tell a security guard & manager. They both did nothing at all. Such a piece of crap store. I went here today and waited 15 minutes for a locked case to be opened so I could buy deodorant. Deodorant! I'm not talking about the good stuff as in $20 deodorant it was just over $4. Once I picked out the product I was interested in purchasing I was informed I couldn't have it until it was put in a lock box. Wait, what? I'm sorry that they have people that steal but they need to figure out a better way than making law-abiding customers carry around a stupid lock box of shame. Why are they treating everyone like they are a criminal? This was Northeast Walmart's second chance because of crazy long lines before Thanksgiving I decided to spend my money elsewhere for the holidays. After today I won't be returning. What happened to customer service? Please don't accept this treatment for yourselves. Why are the many always punished because of a few? Not only will I be letting my money do the talking, but my mouth and fingers too. I will be sure to share my experience with others and encourage them to shop any where but here. Personally I'd rather pay more money or drive farther away than be treated in this manner again. Not only do they not value your time by not hiring more people to unlock cases. As a Walmart associate I come into contact with hundreds of people everyday, and with that being said I can confidently state that management is not the problem with this store. Management is extremely understanding, and they make do with what they're given. The reviews love to blame management for the lack of staffing but no, it is the miserable customers who make people not want to work here. As a young female I get sexually harassed by elderly men, slut shamed by elderly women, and constantly cussed out by loser customers on the daily about things I have 0 control over. Why would any sane person want to work in an environment like that ? Maybe reevaluate the way you act and speak to an associate before leaving your negative review. read more

Self checkout is not 20 items or less. I have always purchased more than 20 items in self checkout. What they are doing is contesting the store. Self checkout is self checkout. Surprisingly the cleanest, most organized, and well-stocked Wal-Mart I've ever been to. The produce section is reasonably priced and makes eating healthy seem possible, despite what you might think about this chain. Sure there's the usual junk food (and it's dirt cheap for the most part), so you can cheat a little. Love how inexpensive brand name bath and hair products are, especially when you compare them with the travel-size counterparts! There's a full deli, but I was disappointed by the lack of guacamole. Alas. That pizza smell from subway is enough to drive you insane while you're shopping; I'm convinced that's how they trick you into buying 10 bags of Cheetos and a cart full of Hostess products. I didn't wander around the rest of the store, but it's got home essentials, clothing, electronics, etc. A good one stop shop for a busy person on a budget who doesn't need help finding their way around (where the employees at?!). read more

Pretty bad customer service. I went to the customer service desk to ask for items that I forgot and I just wasted my time. I didn't find a answer or my items. I spent 30 minutes waiting on the line and 30 minutes waiting for the customer service representative to help me because she didn't know how to find my lost items. After she dated me for the next day to come back and see if someone else could know something about my lost items. I wouldn't come back because I was already there for that reason, but she only made me waste my time. This Walmart has pretty bad employees and I don't understand why it's so complicated to ask for help. The other Walmart in Elkton has a pretty good customer service but this one in North East has the worst customer service ever. If I could give them zero stars, I will. read more

i worked at this walmart for going on almost two years now,there management is absolutely terrible they treat us like we're nothing i've gotten harassed by mangers my two mangers made fun of a special needs person that i work with an made awful comments about her, my mangers have cussed out customers and gotten in physical fights with other employee, and if my managers didn't like something that some one did they would makes us get on our knees and clean the floor if a mess happened that had nothing to do with us... this place is absolutely disgusting not to mention they have a rat problem there like a REALLY bad rat problem, if i were you i wouldn't waste my money here. read more

This store does a very poor job managing the check out lines. We waited for 30 minutes on Saturday to check out. The cashiers are having full on conversations with the people in line slowly moving each item through. The cashiers also feel the need to tell you that they haven't had their breaks or they should have left an hour ago. We are doing our best to avoid this store at all costs. read more

Stinks! That's about the only way to sum up how it's managed. On a recent visit to get deli meat, 6-7 people were in line with one deli person working. I took note of the last person in line and went off to shop. I returned 30 minutes later and that person moved two spots! I spotted two managers standing by the checkouts and asked them if they could get help there. They said call-outs made them short handed in the deli. I asked if they could pitch in and cut cheese/meat. The response I got was they aren't certified. If you are the manager it should be a requirement for certifications to do anything in the store! Don't try calling on the phone it just rings an rings I guess they no longer have a operator maintaining the phone. I am handicap an was trying to reach the meat department. It is easier to call for availability then for me to drive to the store. Unfortunately, you can go buy what they say they have in the store online because it always wrong. After about 2 hrs of calling I finally reached a customer service person. They transferred me to the meat department where the phone rang for another 48 minutes an I hung up. read more

For the third time, my wife was in this store and walked past people with dogs laying in their shopping carts. The same carts we put our food in, and people put their toddlers in. She got fed up and spoke with a manager. Response: she said they have a rule against it, but once the person enters the store, they can't do anything about it. That is RIDICULOUS. This is a violation of Cecil County health department regulations, so we're reporting this to the County. We have a small dog we love...but she doesn't come into a FOOD STORE!! A service dog walking around attended is one thing - not dogs sitting on food surfaces. This has to stop!!!! read more
