He and the manager stated I they see on camera that we didn't check we will be fired. As I was pulling out my license and debit card. I stated you can't supercede federal law. He got a little huffy with me grab the cigarettes while my debit card was still in the machine and said we don't have to take this from no customer. Up till that point I was rather cool. Then began to raise my voice to him. Turned to the assistant manager and asked go home and search ID for buying cigarettes. The law is if the customer look 40 then card him. If anyone from DG gets fired for this they should sue for wrongful termination. But this guy (Alex) seems not to like people of color. And he should be termination. I've been a customer of this store for 4 years never been treat like this. Again... he should be fired.

This Walmart has brought out the true Karen in me. And I was not ashamed to use it…read more July 3rd, 2026- Yes, terrible timing on my part to order pickup the day before the 4th. Nevertheless, I did it anyway. I am a bad boy so I circled around the back of the Walmart to reach the pickup spaces. And to what did my wondering eyes did appear, millions of cars and not a single employee near. It took easily 5-10 mins just to get a spot. There are 14 spots there, and there was easily 25 cars waiting to get a spot. How Walmart thought allowing 25 people to book 25 spots when their lot has 14 spaces, is beyond me. I got into space #7, and began my wait a few minutes after 3:30. Mind you, my pick up time was between 3-4. I checked in, they knew I was there. After 30 minutes, I was starting to get impatient. A woman had pulled up next to me and had gotten her groceries within 5 minutes. She must have known someone on the inside, or was a miracle worker. Around the 45 min mark, I was angry. I simply wanted to cancel my order and feed my children. However, I worried if I canceled I would not get a refund. A man, whom we will call Kevin because I didn't see his tag, was circling around with an order about the size of my own. I popped my head out the window and asked if that was for #7. If he said #8 just to spite me or not, I don't know. He walked back inside without giving the food to #8. I then looked in my rear view mirror. Cars were pulled up by the garage door where they rolled the carts out and people were OUT OF THEIR CARS asking employees for their orders NOT IN A SPOT and giving tips. Bribery, bribery, BRIBERY. If they were going to play dirty, I was going to get dirty. I approached the woman at the door. I told her my spot and said WHERE IS MY STUFF. Nicely. She said they were "filling my order" (aka getting the stuff from the store) The women behind me had to OPEN HER BIG MOUTH and say ILL COME TO THE DOOR AND PICK UP THE ORDER HERE. YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO COME TO MY CAR. I, of course, said the same. After my offer was on the table, the women added- I ONLY HAVE ONE BAG, AND I HAVE A BABY IN THE CAR THAT NEEDS IT. Well I'll tell you something women, I have one too. MY WIFE. Well the employee only brought one bag out, and you can probably guess who's that was. Other people were also getting out of their cars, clearly livid. The people who were fortunate enough to get their order at the door, did not give their boxes back to the employees, and instead formed a pile in a parking space. A manger later came out and was clearly displeased. I was now nearing the 1 hour mark when I had decided that customer service ought to hear about this. So I left my wife to man the car while I marched into the customer service desk. I might add, after all the teenagers I saw slacking off, the customer service employees were extremely kind and helpful. They called their manager right away and she was there within a few minutes. The women did not look me in the eyes the whole time I was speaking to her. I was not nasty, I was not mean, I was merely telling her about the situation and how one could so EASILY FIX IT. She did not say anything the whole time until I a chuck of silence where she said sorry I'll look into it and left. After 1 hour and 15 minutes of waiting, an employee came and gave us our food. Half the food was not in bags and was dumped into my trunk. I will note, the watermelons were sweating. I take this to mean my order was sitting in the hot loading dock for quite a while, not the cooled store, when employees took the requests of people who were not in a spot and disobeyed procedures. Guess they weren't "filling my order" , HUH LADY?! This experience today has taught me one thing- Walmart does one thing best: employing the unemployable.

We called the manager on duty and told her to check the cameras and 30 mins later she's comes back and apologizes for the actions of her employee saying that we did scan everything in our shopping cart. Terrible service. I bought a few items from this shop. Two Brighton watch bands and one pair of…read moreBrighton sunglasses. I had an issue with my sunglasses and was told at the point of sale that if I had any need of repairs I could bring them in. I did just that in November of 2024. I was told that it would take about a month to get them back. I called in January to check on the status and was told that someone would get back to me and no one did. I was later told that the owner was sick with the flu which is understandable and that someone would get back to me. No one did. I finally got a hold of the owner today after months of trying to get the status and she verbally accosted me stating that she ordered a ring for me that I didn't retrieve which is a BOLD faced LIE. She did not have the ring in stock and I wanted to see it in person BEFORE making the purchase. I also told her that it was fine and that I would try the Brighton store in Delaware. She volunteered to order it and told me that I could make my decision when I visited the store and that I was under no obligation to purchase it. Rightfully so as I did not make the request. Weeks later told me that the ring came in when I called to check on the status of my sunglasses the first time and I told her that I would take a look at it when I came to retrieve my glasses. This owner Kathy was very defensive despite my effort to emphasize with her for the brief 3 weeks that she was sick. She apologized for lying saying that she did in fact not tell me that the repair was a curtesy and she had to pay a total of $40 to send it for repair. While apologizing she simultaneously disrespected me saying "not to mess with her" and abruptly hung up on me while I was simply stating that it had been months and was empathizing with her situation. Of course she didn't hear that as she was screaming at me. She also accused me of being disrespectful in her shop which nothing could be further from the truth as I've had nothing but sweet encounters with her, her family and staff in addition to my husband and autistic child. What a disgrace. You should be ashamed of yourself for the way you treated me unnecessarily and your utter LIES. SPEAKING OVER your customers is not the right way to do business especially when they have legitimate questions and were being empathetic. I do not recommend this vendor and will be taking my business to the Brighton store going forward. I'm sure you're going to reply with UTTER lies but remember I also cannot believe that you JUST mailed the sunglasses out for repair. God sees and knows all things and will repay each one for wrongdoing. AS THEY SAY KARMA is no respecter of persons and you I'm sure won't be exempt. DO NOT BUY HERE!!

I enjoyed the small fragrance section with room sprays (the doggy poop cover-up was cute), but it wasn't anything you couldn't find at Anthopologie or Urban Outfitters. They do sell Pandora jewelry, so if you're looking for a charm or something to add to your collection, this might be a good place to stop by while you're in town; they also carried other jewelry collections, including some by local crafters. I found that to be the most interesting display, so perhaps if you've an eye for that sort of thing, you might find yourself something really neat. Service here was sort of lukewarm; nobody seemed to care that we were in the store. Employees just chatted with one another. Maybe it's because we're young? Not sure. Either way, wasn't enticed by the product or the customer service, so we carried on down Main Street.
