At the holiday's is not the best time to go into Walmart. If you have to go in, go with your list, and stick to it. The mission becomes get in, get out. My visit this evening went fairly smooth, as I already had my list in the app shopping cart, so I could remove the items as I found them. Luckily for me I know how to power walk through Walmart, so I made short work of the list at hand. For a Walmart run for the household not bad. If you have to visit, make your order for pick up through the app and you can avoid all the nerve rattling situations and screaming children. I'm grateful for our Walmart in Muskogee. I've always found the things I need over the years. I've also been lucky to find great clearance many times too. They are currently remodeling, and it's looking great so far! I will love having the lunch/snack section in the front, and I hope they add the cute dollar section like other newer Walmarts. read more

I enjoy shopping at our Muskogee Walmart. The only down side to it, it's just too big!! Walmart in medium size towns are like the malls. You can't clear a Walmart in one shopping visit. It takes me awhile with help to get large packs of water, bulky items, and pet food. So when that does happen, I will choose Walmart pick up in the mornings which is a gawd send. Our Walmart being humongous, I guess that's my only gripe. The good thing is, there's always a greeting smile for hello, and a smiling goodbye. The shelves are stocked and clothing options offer some new variety for the seasons for everyone. I really do appreciate how far Walmart has become. They do beat most competitors prices, and carry more "hard to find items." Be sure to tell the stock experts, cashiers, and services -they are doing a great job.. they need to hear it. Filthy store. Moldy produce. They allow nonservice animals all the time that I have personally witnessed urinate on the floor. Management team are rude to you if you have any issues. Some of the door greeters are extremely rude and will stop you and demand a receipt even though you have no items that were picked up or purchased. Also women's restroom toilets were all covered in feces. Overall the entire restroom was disgusting. read more

I guess posting on the store facebook page was not the best option. That page is where they brag about themselves. I guess someone has to, but it won't be me. Richard Steehler just in there and tried to order wings at food counter I needed a half dozen employee responded you mean a dozen, I said no I need a half dozen to which he replied that I did not need to have an attitude. A friend heard the conv. from 20 + feet away and said he heard all that was said and noticed only that the employee didn't understand what a half dozen was and his critique of me? I reported to a mgr. who said he would took care of it. I was watching as employee returned with a smile on his face and waving at me. Neither employee or mgr. apologized for the incident and mgr. accused me of being aggressive and loud after I was treated as I was. That is why WALMART employees are a dime a dozen, which includes mgt.. This store has done nothing but fail since Mr. Ebert left. OHHHH, I wish Wegmans would come to Muskogee. Friendly associates for the most part. Cleanliness of the store, even the bathroom, was acceptable it did need some details . I've seen worse at other walmarts. Just moved to the area, so we needed a lot of things( cleaning supplies, drawer organizers, shelf liners, pots pans ect). read more

I cannot get anyone to answer the telephone. I have called three times. I guess I will have to drive up there myself to see if they have the tire I need. Typically, I am a strong supporter of this store, but I hate to say it, the manager has got to go (if there is even one) as the store has really changed for the worst in the past few years. After being told it would take and hour and a half for tire rotation and oil change, and waiting for three hours they finally came and said they needed me to come find the lug nut key which was in the drivers seat clearly visible. I'm now very concerned how much they have cared for my car when they can't see something right there in the seat. I still have another hour to wait until the rotation and balance will be done. 4 hours for an 1 1/2 hour job!!! Not coming back here! read more

Staff seem to have a weird reaction to me and my partner of a different race. When I'm in there by myself, the staff don't pay me any mind. When I'm with my partner, some of the employees give us funny looks. And the older woman at the far end entrance always stops us to check our receipt, always asks her specifically for it. Every. Single. Time we shop at that store. Never stops me when I'm by myself. Never looks at me, asking for it. Only her. It makes it difficult for us to comfortably shop here, when we have to face this every time we walk into the store. Some of the employees are great and so helpful, wonderful people. But its always the few with weird looks and stares, or stopping to check our cart. Unacceptable behavior. read more

I will never shop here again! The woman at the door when we were leaving asked to see our receipt. No biggie, handed it to her. She then proceeded to go through every bag and every item in my cart!! I was embarrassed!! I told her to stop, and asked for a manager. We had just checked out right beside her. The manager came over and said it was a new policy to cut down on costs. As we were complaining about this "Policy" a woman walked out with a bag of stuff, a rake, and a dog bed that weren't bagged and she wasn't asked for a receipt. Ludicrously negative experience across multiple dates, employees and members of management trying to reverse an incorrect mail order charge.

Went in to find a movie that came out recently. After looking, I asked the ladies behind the desk in the electronic section and was told very rudely, (basically) 'no we don't have it and no we can't check other stores.' Not even a sorry. The tone of the two ladies was very dismissive and made me feel as if they just wanted me to go away. Worst part is: I had to go back later that day, and I found the movie they told me they didn't have. read more

I recently went to the Wal Mart in Muskogee and got excellent service. The manager there Josh was more than helpful when I needed a certain extension cord. He helped me find it and the cost was good too. I'm one that is something is wrong I'm the first to call 1 800 Wal Mart to let them know.
