This adventure takes us to Homeland on S.York after my husband got off work last night. This is what I consider the forgotten Homeland. I am glad my husband thought to go to it last night though. It was one of the most quite and calm grocery stores we have been to in a very long time. On our way in, we saw a red wasp trying to walk in, lol(it looked like he had a hard day). But we were there to see what this location was like, since we had not been in it, and to check out the pricing. Like I said before, I am glad he thought to go in. We really enjoyed the calmness. We did not feel like we were being rushed through, like at some other grocers, we have gone to. The cashier we had at checkout was very nice, she made our experience in checkout very smooth. It made for a great experience overall. We did manage to pick up a little dinner selection yesterday evening on our trip(After running an errand, we came home and had a couple pulled pork sandwiches from the deli that we picked up,after adding some extra sauce and a little reheat, they were just yummy. They were part of the fresh made daily selection they had).We will definitely be back, for this hidden gem in our very own town. read more
