This store is well run. It is clean and even has an early morning time set aside for folks with sensory issues. That really appeals to me because I have a grandson with those sort of issues and also, excess noise sucks. Great store! Great staff! Great food! read more

Great for a quick stop, was in and out in about 5 minutes total. The gas station employee was professional and courteous, and they have one of the cheapest gas prices in the east. I'm from Maine visiting West Virginia, went through 8 states and this is the place to fuel up. read more

Loved this Walmart! We boondocked in the parking lot while RV'ing for the night. The drink selections are huge. They had things I've never seen. The store is layed out opposite of other Walmarts, but was very easy to navigate. Not very big, but had a lot of items, and made our overnight stay nice. There were 3 semi's and 2 RVs overnight. Good place to stay and very close to Lost World Cavern, which is a must see as well! read more

Wow -- you have managed to surpass my lowest expectations. Hubby -- still an OTR truck driver (see previous review). Okay, so now he parks overnight across the street behind the Huddle House. You win, Big Blue. So as he is in your town at least 3 times a week (his OTR run goes right through Moundsville) I asked him to please stop in your store to get his flu shot. he has insurance with BC/BS. I thought, No problem, right? no cost? wrong. Your pharm rep, Eric Haney, said BC/BS does not cover the shot; cost is $40. huh. At no time did said Eric Haney tell my husband that a quick swipe on his phone would have brought up a coupon that would have lowered that price by $16 to $24. Was there a reason your employee couldn't have done that when it was discovered that, for whatever reason, your system says that our insurance didn't cover that shot; that a readily-accessible coupon was available that would have lowered the cost for a family just trying to get by? Thanks so much, Walmart. Again, always looking out for the little guy read more

I put in an order for delivery around 430pm and selected the next available time which was 8-9 pm. At 840 I received a text saying sorry your ordered is delayed for 2 hours! The ordered contained nyquil and dayquil because I am sick but have to be at work in the morning. At 1015 I still had not heard anything about my order and since it contained medicine I would have to sign for it. I tried calling the store several times and nobody answered. So I went on the online order help chat line on walmart.com. The rep told me to chat back if I did not rec the order by 8pm! I replied it is already 1020 ! The rep then asked me to hold for a specialist. The so called specialist came on the chat and asked how they could help! I once again explained my situation. They asked for my name and address. They stated they could not find a driver and after a half hour they said they could not help I would have to call the store. I explained I had tried that first several times and nobody is answering. They provided me an 800 number and stated they could not help with online delivery even though it was the online order help chat line! I then called the 800 number and that rep said he could cancel the order but that my money will be held for 1-3 days! Worst experience ever. Most unprofessional. I am a walmartplus member needless to say I will not be renewing that membership. Unless you are a fan of a business holding your money hostage and not delivering the goods steer clear of the Walmart in Moundsville WV. read more

This is got to be the absolute worst experience of my life picking up groceries! They were to be ready between 12 and 1 o'clock. My intentions was to pick up my groceries after church and go home and cook my family a nice Sunday dinner. I arrived at 12:08 with a message that my order was going to be delayed. Rather than drive all the way home and back I just told him I would wait. It is now almost 2 o'clock and I still have not received groceries. I call and speak to a manager who says he will get on it that was about 20 minutes ago. Still no groceries. I will never ever step foot in this Walmart again! With the holidays coming up Kroger is getting my business! read more

My favorite Walmart of all the ones I've been to. Helpful associates, friendly always. Clean well stocked store and they go out if their way to help you find what you need. Prices are perfect for my tight family budget. They also are great for helping with community projects and support. read more

Cleanest Walmart I have ever been in. You could eat off the floor. Good Job!!!!

This walmart has without a doubt the worst auto department anywhere i would never let them touch your vehicle for anything I mean they screwed up tires so if they screw that up they could screw up anything i went in and had tires put on and it came back with all 4 sensors not working anymore they said just leave and they would reset themselves well guess what they didn't and they said they would take care of it they would call me to have me come back to fix it and we'll I went back twice on my own and now its been a month and a half and they still haven't fixed them and that wasn't the only problem my brand new tire went completely flat while I was driving on the highway 4 days later of course I didn't know it was going flat until it was too late and ruined my tire so when I went back I thought it would be taken care of no they admitted they didn't offer me.road hazard protection on the tire that went flat because I ordered my back 2 tires offline and they don't offer road hazard on Walmart dot com tires so they admitted they forgot to offer it for my 2 front tires I bought in store that were eligible for the warranty but said there wasn't anything they could do about it now then I asked them if it mattered that they knowingly ruined my tire sensors and they said no that doesn't matter so now I had to foot the bill for a brand new tire because my new tire bought from them only last 4 days and my sensors still don't work horrible read more

wal mart still is my favorite store around here. BUT, lately , there incompetent electronics department staff are lazy, inattentive, slow, rude and unprofessional. and since almost all of my purchases at Wal-Mart are from the electronics department, this created a problem for me. hence the drop from a 5 star rating to a 4 star. I frequently stand over by the electronics cashiers for a very long time before they bother to come speak to me. the roaming workers are always too busy to help. but what they mean by too busy is that they are chatting with eachother in the next aisle about video games. another thing that makes me mad is that yesterday I called and called at least 6 times and they wouldn't pick up. what were they possibly doing that they couldn't pick up and find a cd and its price for me. I let it ring 15 -20 times every time over the course of an hour plus and not on lunch break time. for the record, I ended up buying the cd from someone I don't even know on ebay. I called back and asked to speak to someone in charge to complain. I was left waiting for about 20 minutes. I know what they are thinking. they are thinking "so what ?, one person doesn't want to do business with us in our one department. we are a billion dollar industry. he wont be missed." its that kind of corporate predatory BS that has made me mark them off my electronics list. from now on , if I can find a way, I will buy elsewhere. it really sucks too because, im always the one who defends wal mart when ppl talk bad on it. well, not anymore ! if anyone comes down this way, try the highlands or the ohio valley mall first. one is east of wheeling and the other is west of wheeling. show them that that the little ppl still have a voice ! read more

First, let me preface this by saying that I leave for work at an ungodly hour. I left yesterday morning only to discover that I had a flat. I work an hour and a half away, so I took my wife's car. When I returned from work 13 hours later, I put the donut on and drove to the tire center two hours before closing. When I arrived, there were no cars, zero, in any of the bays and a number of tire and lube center "associates" were over on the picnic table smoking. I was then told by the yellow vest that they were not taking any more cars tonight. Again, two hours before closing, no work being done, they weren't taking my business. This put me in a serious bind as there were no other places open at 6:00 pm to get new tires, hence while I was at Walmart in the first place. I called and spoke to the assistant manager Miranda who called me back, leaving a voice mail that they didn't turn my business away (they clearly did) but that they were discouraging people as the wait was too long. Wait for what, I don't know, again, no cars and a bunch of smoking employees. I know I shouldn't be shocked by a lack of professionalism, work ethic, common decency etc. at Walmart, but to turn business away, especially someone that would be fired immediately for telling someone at my job that I'm too busy to do their work, is just laughable. But again...this is the Walmart that at peak times generally only two or three manned checkout lanes open and three or four cashiers "supervising" the self check out lane. I will take my business elsewhere, but Walmart cares not...they've got us. read more
