I really enjoy when I go in there very comfortable atmosphere and really good prices. Convenient and close to home. They have a beautiful garden center. Staff and coach does an excellent job at keeping it clean watered. Great customer service everytime I visit. Self checkout is a very busy most of the times. I miss all those cashier's. I prefer to go early before the midday crowds on the weekends. Don't forget Walmart has online deals, if you can't find it in the store then you can go to different locations, plus they has free shipping too. Walmart has everything you need. Groceries, furniture, sporting goods, auto needs, clothing for the whole family, pharmacy, jewelry, household goods, plants, seeds, gardening supplies, pottery, candles, pots, pans, glassware, pets supplies, makeup, bathing supplies, sewing supplies, etc. If you use it Walmart probably has it, and a variety of it. The only draw back at this locations is less stock/options compare to other locations. Good thing is that they have a McDonalds and hair salon inside the store. They sell expired package produce. Better check all dates on packaged produce. Manager and team lead on duty did not seem to care when I brought to their attention the fact they sell expired produce to customers. This means you better check all food dates from this store. And I would never buy meat nor seafood from this store. And the customer service is extremely poor. More training is needed at this location. read more

I have spent over $500 a month in this Walmart in the past and in return management and their staff / employees constantly falsely accused me of stealing out their store. In the money center the cashier's try to short me of $20 constantly and then the checkout lines the cashiers are trying to overcharge before items that I only have one of Different Walmart employees will follow you around the store once more trying to prove that you're stealing even though I'm not and management eagerly assist their employees in their false endeavors to prove that I am doing something wrong in their store For some reason management consistently wants to blame me for their shortcomings and wrongdoings and are doings Most of this attitude these people have stems from employees from the community bringing their personal grudges to work and they don't see anything wrong in hassling a good paying customer. read more

For the most part, I've been pretty happy with Lake City Walmart. They probably struggle to keep it stocked due to the high volume of shoppers but I don't complain. On Saturday, June 7 my wife and I were doing our weekend grocery shopping. Upon checking out we met Eunice, our cashier. She was extremely friendly and overly polite. She actually made my day with the way she made my wife and I feel so appreciated for shopping there. Dissatisfied Customer: Walmart customer service practices are slacking. I am sick and I used my last money for Walmart groceries and dog food. I opted for delivery. Two days passed and all I received was a box of spaghetti. To add insult to injury, I have to wait five days for a refund because they don't have drivers. I got a $10 discount on a $15 minimum order, of which I don't have because they have a hold on my account. Why offer the service? I'm forced to figure out how to feed my dog and myself. They made me go to a rigorous process to purchase Walmart gift cards. (I had to go to courtesy desk, show id because cashier can no longer sell them at cash register) Then give the cards to my clients and no money on them. No, they will not refund me. This is Morrow, so don't expect much. The story is dirty, unorganized and it will be hard to find what you are looking for. TIP: Checkout lines are a total mess, so it is best to checkout near the lawn and garden. I probably will regret saying that now, as everyone reading this review will start using that register... ;) I usually always use the same one or two registers, so I have no issue. Do not use the registers near the doors, those are always the ones with long lines. This store is very understaffed. Walmart love's having 25+ registers and only using 6 of them. Most of the employees that I have run into here are very friendly. Walmart really needs to stop putting fast food chains in their stores. As if childhood obesity is not a serious enough issue. When the oil truck comes by to remove the old oil McDonald's uses outside in the front of the store. The entire parking lot has the most awful dreadful smell. Stay away if you see that truck out in the front. If you need school supplies or odds and ends, Walmart is good. Otherwise, I would not recommend supporting Walmart. The sad thing is this: This problem is in many states, but for an example. I am a Federal Employee and was given a form at work to take to this location and request a tax exempt card because our base does not have a commissary. The "customer service" person who called me up to the counter (while leaning on both elbows over the counter-couldn't bother to stand up and be polite) informed me with disgust "I didn't know where THESE PEOPLE keep getting this form or for that matter their information. This is for businesses. You can call the 1-(800 )Wal-mart number and talk to the corporate office. We don't give these out here just because you don't have a commissary" So let me get this straight?!?- multiple people have brought in a similar form and her answer is to turn us all away and tell all of "THESE PEOPLE" to call corporate and solve the problem themselves?!? Isn't that what a customer service person should do? I'm at a loss. I think all of Walmart has just lost my businesses and I shop there a lot. I typically don't shop at this location because I hate it already but this lady just sealed my hatred with a kiss. So, so awful. I don't like to shop at Walmart, but I'm not made of money, and sometimes it needs to happen, whatever, I'm a horrible person, I know. But this Walmart - just THE WORST. Chronically understaffed. Doesn't matter when you go, the lines are horribly long. Complaints go unanswered, or managers will tell you outright that Walmart intentionally understaffs, they can't do anything, and to complain to corporate. God forbid you have to pick up a Site To Store - you could be there for an hour waiting for someone to show, then sigh, then look lazily for your package, then look at your ID 10 times, then pretend to look some more for your package, then give up, then call a manager, then... well, you get the idea. Total nightmare. Because it's in a low-income area, it doesn't even pretend to stock some of the stuff like limited edition cosmetics that other Walmarts do. And the place always looks like a hurricane has been through. I feel bad for the folks who work there - I do. I believe that they do the best they can with the pittance wage and few hours they're given. But man, what a pit. read more

I used the pick up service because Walmart's customer service sucks. I guess this didn't remedy the problem. I ordered some school supplies online and had my son pick it up. Apparently, the associates think that if they come close enough to what you ordered, it should do. I ordered a pink binder. They gave me a black one. They explained that they didn't have pink. Shouldn't they have called to tell me that BEFORE adding it to my order. I did not want black so I declined. My son then had to go to customer service to process a refund. It kind of defeated the purpose of using a "quick" pick-up service. When my son got home, I noticed that some of the items were not right. I wanted what I ordered because I was following the school supply list. I ordered blunt kid scissors, they gave me pointed. I ordered pink erasers. They gave me colorful erasers. I only ordered 6 items. They got three wrong. Smh! Stay away from the pickup service that they're pushing unless you want what they want you to have. read more

I try to avoid this place by all means necessary, but sometimes I have no choice. Night time is the worst time to shop here because they block the aisles with pallets full of boxes, and the stock people stare at you as though you are in the way. If you need assistance your attempt to get it will be futile. The people working here don't have the time to be bothered by annoying customers. This is even if you find someone on the clock, or not on a phone call. The parking lot is dark and vast, with sketchy people walking about and a lone security truck that drives around the back of the building more than he does the parking lot. The employees will be gathered in a small building out front that use to be a bus stop. They have gathered benches in side this small structure, and they will be smoking cigarettes in plain view of customers. At night you will even sometime catch the strong scent of marijuana coming from the small structure full of employees. The worst part is checking out and paying for what you need to buy,. 30+ registers with only 2 open at any given time. The cashiers are pain stakingly slow, and rude. If you ask for a manager they will get right on your concern by adding a 3rd cashier to help ease the burden. (Rolls Eyes) This is a place that is dirty, not stocked, and filled with rude employees. Stay away from this disgrace. There is a Kroger 2 red lights down the street. Do yourself a favor go there instead. You can thank me later! read more

This walmart is very convenient towards my daughters school and very spacious. In some locations in the store, it is a little disorganized but again its walmart. I usually go in the morning to avoid the rush of people in the afternoon. Overall, it is a practical everyday superstore. read more

I just left this walmart to exchange an item with customer service with Shrek and donkey aka David and his pal Goliath aka The Hulk and the green goblin. The ladies in customer service were so rude. I understand that it sucks to work at Walmart but I'm not making you work here; it's not my fault you chose this route of employment. My little cousin didn't half way make it to the register and the walmart employee, looking like the grinch, already had an attitude. On top of that, we had the receipt to exchange but they kept insisting to use my ID. I then called three other walmarts to confirm if they were right, which they weren't and ended up exchanging my item(with the receipt) at another walmart. Morrow Walmart - avoid this place. We'll drive 20 miles to Hudson Bridge Road Walmart. Store is cleaned up a lot (and it was really needed). Today (May 30, 8:00) the greeter greeted me only AFTER I greeted him. Had to walk the width of the store to find someone to unlock the spray paint cabinet because no one answered the store phone when I tried to call. Foot stools thrown on a shelf had no price so asked an employee if she had a price checker, she said no and walked off (meaning no, and I'm not going to help you either). Then 2 employees on phones in the stalls of the ladies room so using the handicap stall was not possible (a hardship for me). Asked another employee if she could please check the price on the foot stool and she did but with ill grace. Said the price and nothing else, even when I thanked her. Had to get cashier to okay purchase of paint and she waved her card, entered the code, and walked off without a word. Mad, sullen employees thru-out. In addition to this, they are out of so many products so often that we have quit shopping here anyway. I don't give it any stars at all; it's just awful. read more

I JUST WANTED SOME BLACK YARN!!! Last Sunday I went to this Walmart to purchase a medium roll of Black Yarn by Red Heart. I didn't see any black but I seen every other color on the shelf. The next day I called the store to see if any came in and they said yes. So I went to check and again, NO black yarn. What a waste of time! I called tuesday and asked the woman who answered about the yarn and she had a hard time finding someone in that section to help her. I had to call back a few times and she finally told me someone said "The truck didnt come" The next day (Wed) I called AGAIN and the same associate answered, she recognized my voice and new what I was calling about. I had to call back so she could find out for herself, if the black yarn arrived and NO it wasn't there. So Saturday (today) I went to the store and there was NO BLACK YARN!! I spoke to 1 of the managers, he said it only takes about 3 days for delivery. So with that Im thinking that No One cared to check on that section of the store and not give a dam that I was calling about the yarn. I dont know what kind of people they have working in that store but Im annoyed over some black ass yarn! And Im not even going to talk about the fat cashier with braids n glasses, who put a "CLOSED" sign by the register when I went to bend down to get a beverage. Dang! I only had 2 items!! I had a good experience here. They have definitely made a lot of improvements here and the cashier I has was a sweetheart.

WHY?! "A customer host: an associate who greets customers, but also checks receipts where APPROPRIATE, assists with returns and helps keep entrances clean and safe..." so does a box of trash bags ($15) warrant appropriate receipt check? Is refusing exit without receipt appropriate? Is said customer host allowed to put their hands on a customer to prevent them from leaving with trash bags? I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO RUDELY FORCED- to walk back across the store with a toddler in tow to get a f'n receipt TO WHAT- prove I purchased a $15 box- she never even checked it for more than a seconds glance... while at customer service my husband was exchanging several propane tanks worth five times that with said receipt... Even after this was told to your customer host she refused exit. WHAT EXACTLY IS YOUR POLICY FOR CUSTOMER HOSTS TO KEEP A SAFE AND APPROPRIATE RECEIPT CHECK EXIT STRATEGY???? Some people have bad days, some people just have to do their job but, at what point is an employee of Walmart stepping over the line in 'said duties'. This is appalling procedures, disgusting, negativity/ behavior and I'll never visit this Walmart again. I'll stick to my local stores where appropriate is a 50+ tv or $200+ furniture item.
