Get Apple Pay please! Great selection but surprisingly no Apple Pay at this location. Spent240 dollars and couldn't pay-

This Walmart does not allow overnight parking, no matter what the online listings say. There are signs posted throughout, so I made a very small purchase that I really needed and then headed elsewhere. I'm not going to support a Walmart that doesn't want my business. No stars here. First just calling and trying to get an appointment was a nightmare. You call and call and no one answers, then they put your hold and you get cut off, etc. unbelievable ! This Walmart tire center is the ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! They have no clue what they are doing (the hire teenagers). I took my car for a rear passenger tire and needed to be replace. With warranty they still charged me. I take the car home and wake up to the same tire being flat. Now I have to return on memorial Day weekend needless to say. They forgot to replace the tire valve stem so the tire went flat. The next day I take the car to a different place for a car alignment and this body shop tells me whoever put my new tire on jam the lug nuts in there and now they were damaged so that needed to be placed. An ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE!!!!! Please take your cars to a professional mechanic NOT Walmart. I will never return. Absolutely clueless!!!! read more

Walmart Supercenter - Department Stores Near Me - Mays Landing, New Jersey

I know this review probably won't go anywhere. Printed out some wedding photos here while on our honey moon in AC and accidentally left the photos in the cart. I've been on the phone for 45 minutes (and counting) just to even speak to someone. (Just to see if someone turned them in) The staff is rude and when speaking to the manager the day we went there informed me she "runs Walmart daycare" cause the kids don't wanna work that they hire. Just another lovely Walmart (: read more

I was held up and ganged up on for not showing my receipt. Employees held my cart yanked it out of my hands and tried to not let me leave. Maybe if they had more regular checkouts this would not happen. This was so uncalled for and not legal they can't hold me from leaving. I spent over $150 on this trip. I loaded my cart unloaded it rang everything up and reloaded my cart. This is ridiculous and I will not be shopping at this store again (possibly any other Walmart) the way I was treated like a criminal was insulting! Very upsetting. read more

I came to this Walmart after work to do a little shopping. Walmart is well known for having carts ready at the door for customers, except when I went there was none. I had to walk back outside to get a cart. The first two had broken wheels and went sideways. The cart pusher employee was outside texting on his phone behind a car not doing his job. Where is management? Very poor customer service. read more

They have items I can't get at my local grocery store. Produce is fresh. Store is well stocked. I typically shop at 8am when it's not busy. Most of the cashiers are friendly. If Lori is working I always get in her lane! Otherwise, I do self check out. I appreciate the self check cashiers who have a few bags ready as you check out. It's a much appreciated customer service task to expedite my check out. If I had one complaint, it's during busiest hours there aren't enough cashiers. read more

(I guess I should be fair and point out that this Wal Mart is currently undergoing some major renovations and hopefully that will make things better in the future.) This is your typical non-renovated still stuck in the '80s looking Wal Mart where the clientele is scary and the people that work there are even scarier. We went in to look for water shoes and Solorcaine and it was quite the adventure. 1. The light for their sign on the Black Horse Pike heading East is currently burnt out and with the trees and other strip mall signs around it makes it very difficult to see the sign or to even believe that they are open. 2. The parking lot is awful. With the construction going on you have to park so far away that a tram or shuttle bus shouldn't be out of the question and I imagine the condition of the existing lot to mirror the quality of a parking lot in somewhere nice like say, Fallujah. 3. Naturally the area around the pharmacy where the Solorcaine was located was being inventoried/moved or something of the like as there were a bunch of managerial looking types standing around doing nothing while numerous grunt type employees counted/packed/boxed/rearranged several aisles. Eventually we found what we needed after several detours and after a fairly looong check out wait as the store was packed and only three cashiers were working when about twice that many should have been the minimum. I'll be generous and give two stars as we did find what we needed and the price was right but it's stores like this which make Wal Mart look bad and only further reinforce them as a shitty peddler of cheap Chinese plastic. read more

It's a store that's filled with everything you need, but nothing you want. Checkout lines are painfully long after 6.

I busied myself to write to Walmart corporate after my last visit to their store. While they havent an "Ok" to "decent" selection of items for purchase, the customer service is absolutely atrocious. after shopping in the store for about 45 minutes, and battling a line to get to a register, you'd think the cashier would at least acknowledge your presence. I I guess i was wrong about thinking that way. Cashier completely ignored us, as well as went on to talk to her CSM about how she cant do her job anymore, and shes tired of being there and "casino jobs are starting to sound better and i never thought id hear myself say that" And her CSM was agreeing and throwing in her two cents on it. Completely rediculous that some of us are walking around semi-jobless not able to fully make ends meet, and there are paeople wasting companies payrolls.... lovely. read more

If I could give lower then 1 star, I would. I went in there, asking for 1 thing. I was then lied to, mislead, and got nothing but a waste of time. I called before I went in and asked if they had beard nets, when I was told "Yes, they are in the grocery section." I went to the grocery section. There was none there. I asked someone else, they told me to go to the hair and beauty section. None there. I asked someone else and I was told to go to oral hygiene. None there. I asked another person and I was told the Nut section. There was none there. Finally I asked again and I was told the shaving section. There was none. Fed up, I went to customer service. They PHYSICALLY looked only for them to tell me "We don't carry that." 5 times I asked, and 5 times I was lied to and mislead by the sick people who work there. Honestly the only things I would buy here was groceries, but Acme is right next door so as far as I'm concerned, this Wal Mart is not going to get anything from me ever again. read more

If you just so happen to wake up one day and decide to take a casual trip to this Walmart, save yourself some trouble and just fall back asleep. Today I woke up with a smile on my face because I knew that I would be getting my brand new Roku TV from Walmart, which had meant I could continue watching the show Chicago Med on Netflix! Well, little did I know that it wouldn't be so easy. I got an email from the store saying it would be ready before 8pm the day of (curbside pickup) and that they would notify me when it's ready. Well, I was never notified and when I called to check, I had just kept getting transferred by this angry lady who had probably woke up on the wrong side of her bed. With my Netflix cravings setting in , I decided I could not wait another second, so I went into the store myself to see if I could pick it up in there. Once I got there I began to question reality, as It didn't seem like I had walked into a store due to the absence of many employees. I frantically speed walked to the electronic section where I came across a ghost town, like I was in Chernobyl. I had witnessed other customers eager to purchase there new video games and pick up some wedding pictures, only to become disappointed after seeing that the employees decided to take off in the electronic department for the day. Anyway, long story short, I stood there angry and impatient, waiting for someone to give me my roku Tv for over an hour. An employee who did not even work in that department desperately tried to find help to satisfy my needs, but it was not looking good. At this point, i had grown a full beard by the time I had finally gotten my television. This place would be better if there were employees that actually work there and are around to help customer. What a shame. read more

I went to this location today and while looking through the garden center I noticed they had a wicker egg chair on display for $47. I waited there for several minutes for someone who worked there but no one was in department so I took a picture and went to find someone in the home section. the woman there told me it was definitely marked wrong but she can clearly see that it is on display for that price so she suggested I go back and she would call someone to the department to help me. The lady finally came in and told me it was marked wrong and was $347. I explained that it was clearly marked that price and I would like to speak to a manger. she called a manager and told me that they aren't going to do anything for me. The woman from the home section came back and said that the manager told her to inform me the best they will do is 10% off the full price of 347. I asked where the manager is and she told me no one would come speak with me. I went to customer service and again requested to speak to a manager. Again they refused to speak with me. I reached out to corporate customer service and am waiting a call back from the GM of the location. There is a camera right above the area and I have a photo of the display. They can clearly see that this is the way the display was and not honoring the marked display price is bad customer service and business practice. read more

I would not recommend... honestly worst Walmart I've ever been to and I avoid going here at all costs unless I have to. Shelves are never stocked, only 1-2 lanes will be open at a time and there will be lines down to the garden center, they don't care. They are extremely slow when ringing up your purchases, talking to their coworkers at other registers. If you're looking for a particular item here, don't waste the time they probably don't have it. You can do so much better... Spend the extra $ at Acme nearby, they take care of their customers there. read more

One star only because "ZeroStars" is not possible. I've been trying to telephone this store for more than half an hour. My calls ring for exactly 4 minutes, and are then disconnected. Apparently, they don't want my business. read more

If you are white expect to be racially profiled by black employees. After using the self-checkout I was leaving the store with my 90-year-old mother when a black employee stopped her and asked to see her receipt. All of her items were in white Walmart bags. Meanwhile, three young, black females left the store (one pushing a baby carriage where stolen items could easily be concealed) unmolested. This is not the first time this has happened. Several years ago, there was a carjacking in their parking lot. And, you guessed it; the victims were white and the perpetrators were black. read more

This is the WORST Walmart I have ever visited!!! There is zero, let me repeat ZERO customer service. One person works in the customer service counter (ie returns), while 7-10 customers wait in line and 3-4 workers stand right there chit chatting and could care less. Supervisor included! While attempting a return (cashier carelessly did not check tag, even though I politely asked her to and wrung up item wrong price), Supervisor snapped back at me and when I snapped back she mumbled something nasty under her breathe. The worker doing "customer service" never smiled, said sorry for your trouble, good bye nothing. Just unbelievable!! What is the criteria for working here? Nastiness must be seething out of your pores? Avoid this place. Vineland has a super nice and new Walmart. The staff there have always been very sweet and kind. Better yet, drive across the street and hit Target. read more

Just like every other Walmart you come to, they have pretty much everything you could need to run a house hold. I came here looking for a TV wall mount for my room and had a hard time finding someone willing to help me with my questions. When I did find someone behind the counter in the TV section I was told to find someone else. Not exactly the best customer service. read more

This is the Walmart that people featured on "peopleofwalmart.com" make fun of. A true turd of South Jersey. Looking for items in this store is like participating in an Easter egg hunt. It reminds me of store scenes in The Walking Dead. They must have at least 40 cash registers available, and 3 will be open with long lines. read more

No one really wants to go to Walmart. I'd rather go to my ACME or ShopRite but things can be way overpriced in those two stores. So I go to Walmart. It's cheaper than most. The employees aren't the best. But it's much better than the brand new Walmart in Pleasantville. It can be a little loud at times. I prefer to go early, when it's quiet. read more

As much as I come here for the convenience I have found what an inconvenience it really is. Yes it is less expensive and the pharmacy staff well most of them are great that is all of the positive things I have to say about it. I have given it great effort to like this place. I have gone in the day time where the employees are rude and everyone is so preoccupied with impressing what ever upper management is coming that day that if you have a question you are better off asking another customer. At night time it is a maze and a death trap there is stock everywhere and the people putting the stock out will run you over is you are in there way! One thing I can say is if you ever in the mood for a good laugh this is the place to go..some of the customers here are right out of a the you tube videos titled the people of WalMart!! read more

This and most Walmarts suck in the customer service area. I hate picking up site to store orders at this location. You will wait around for a long time before someone comes out to help you. It seemed to me like no one wanted to work. This place is messy as hell too. Walmart needs to get their crap together before people get fed up with their bullshit. I would avoid this place and head over to Target which is down the road from this dump. You get way better service and way better selection than this god awful location. read more

To put it simply- to avoid having to shop at this walmart, i drive a half an hour just to go to a different walmart, located near williamstown. Having worked in retail before, i know the ins and outs of the industry. the downfall of this store...is the employees working there. As everyone else has said before, poor customer service and lack of care for the store contribute to a poor shopping experience. Employees eating buffalo wings and licking the sauce off their fingers on the sales floor, arguing on the phone with their boyfriend via bluetooth headset, employees not knowledgeable of the items located in their area, associates chewing tobacco, incoherent storeroom employees haphazardly leaving pallets of merchandise in your way when restocking, saying "i dunno, its not my dept" when asked a question, no baskets available for shopping, multitude of registers and only 3 cashiers...the list goes on and on. Ive lived in the area since this walmart has opened, and i gotta say, the issue has never improved over this time period. The williamstown location gets it right. Clean, positive environment where youre greeted at the front door with a smile, associates who offer to help you find what youre looking for-it doesnt get much better than that, even on a black friday. When you compare this store to mays landing...there isnt much of a comparison. Avoid it. Of youre in mays landing, go to target for a better shopping experience. read more

A majority of things looked like it was rush on the shelves and a majority of the employees were stockers who didn't own radios, so took a while to track another employer down to help find what I was looking. My recommendation is to get their ad and have another shop match their price. read more

Well Walmart is still playing price games. This time its the facial tissues. Great value was a box of 185 for $.98 now its 160 for $1.20. That's just one item. They play this game each and every month. The tariffs which haven't been imposed yet but that will be their excuse. read more

I have to say that both the store manager and the assistant manager at the Mays Landing store went ABOVE and BEYOND this Christmas season for me and my family. And I'm from Pittsburgh...yup, Pittsburgh--over 300 miles away! After a very confusing situation with a one-hour guarantee item purchased on Black Friday, and corporate 800# operators who were not really able to help, the local team really went to bat to make sure that I not only had the product that was purchased--but they made sure I had it for Christmas morning. They were patient and kind and truly wonderful even after the many, many phone calls between us. Thank you both--a letter to the corporate office is next as I hope you get the recognition you deserve for being both stellar employees!!! Congrats, and thanks again. A very happy Pittsburgher... read more

I use this location for online ship to store purchases & my experiences have been great. Bring a shopping cart to that section because they don't keep any back there. I will NEVER trust my mom's eyes to Walmart Vision Center again. I took my mother to get her eyes check there and I spend a great deal of money because she was visiting me another country. The eye doctor changed my mother glucoma medication. She said it was better than the one she've been using for almost ten years, with no problem. Even though the medication was more expensive I did purchase it but it caused my mom's pressure to increase, she began to complain about headaches and numerous other problems. I had to send money for her to see an eye doctor in her country to have her medication changed backed. One year later I took her back there because there was another doctor and that's when we found out that my mom have retina degeneration than she wrote in her notes, but fail to mention to us. WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN. read more

Went to the automobile dept to have tires put on rims and was told one price and then charged a higher price. I love Wal-Mart but can't stand some of the associates they are roude people who don't care to help me and do there job that they get paid to do. I wish I could get a job there so I can show them how its done I bet a million bucks if they would hire me customers would always be looking for me for help and everything else because I know what I want so I would treat them exactly how I want to and more. I hate calling because they play games but they don't realize that it's stupid for them to do because you might not think by not giving your name you won't get called out . But you will if your roude and unhelpful because I know the time I called and what store. But the worst part is when they first give you there name and you ask a few minutes later what's your name? And they say I don't have to tell you I laugh. I said that's ok you already did thanks. They think they are untouchable. But not when you are roude to someone I have had enough experience with people like you.. so over the people who get paid and don't give a crap. I take all my jobs with pride they only wish they had what I had. Wal-Mart give me a job I'll show you how it's done in the customer service world. I'll have customers looking for me that's how happy they will be.. what's really annoying is when you ask for something and they say nope don't have it I asked for a certain kind of envelope I said so you don't have it nothing close to it ? Nope I go there and what do you know a whole section of it not what I asked for but close enough. So basically they told me they did not have it at all, the but they did. For now on if I know who I'm dealing with and I know they stink I'll wait to deal with the associates who actually care. read more

I decided after class I would stop by and pick up a few items that I needed as I normally do during the week. This Walmart is the closest to me and after visiting it multiple times to do some quick, convenient shopping, I have never run into an issue like the one I had today. The cashiers are not normally super helpful or outgoing, but when I am just picking up a few items, it really is not that big of a deal. However, after spending about an hour and a half in the store today, I am left with a bad taste in my mouth as I was unable to purchase my items. Credit card machines were not working properly and were being especially reluctant with chip-embedded cards, like mine. After multiple items to scan my card and type in its number, both the cashier and the assistant manager were unable to process my transaction, as with many other customers' cards. I did not mind waiting considering I work in the hospitality industry and I understand the importance of being patient when issues occur, especially a technological error. My card was then tried at a few other registers, all who were having issues. I knew it wasn't my card that was the issue considering I had just used it recently, so I decided to run to an local ATM and take out cash instead. I told this to the assistant manager who was willing to hold my items; however, when I returned ten minutes later, my items were nowhere to be found. I returned to the cashier who had originally processed my transaction and informed her that he still held my items and that I was able to pay for them in cash now. She tried to alert a supervisor and told the lady of my situation, however neither of the two attempted to find the original assistant manager who held my items. Seeing the line that had formed behind me, I stepped back so that other customers could be helped while I waited. However, no one made any other attempts to help me with my purchase, even while knowing my situation. I still intend to re-purchase my items later tonight, however I am seriously disappointed with the lack of customer service I have experienced this afternoon. I have decided not to include any names nor do I have any intentions to slander any reputations; I just wanted to share my experience so that customer service may improve in the future. read more
