I love the grocery pickup. They are fast and thorough. I like the self-checkouts. I enjoy being able to check out fast without having to stand behind 50 people just to get through. Delivery services are good. It can be a bit pricey but it is helpful when you have no transportation or are ill. read more

Typical Walmart. They want you to use the self check out had a whole bunch of them and if they Pay me or give me a discount for doing their job. And by some, we mean 3 bags of items that we didn't end up using for a friend's wedding that we were tasked with decorating. But the lady in customer service was super nice and patient. Where's the customer service at Macomb's WalMart? I'm an early Sunday morning shopper usually arriving between 6:30-7:00 am. WHY ARE THERE NO CHECK OUT LANES OPEN?? Why should I have to check out a full cart of groceries at a frustratingly tiny self check-out station and then bag them myself? Macomb's management needs to spend more time addressing a lack of basic customer service and less time trying to increase corporate profits at customers expense. Here's an idea, if WalMart expects myself and others to do the work of an employee shouldn't we receive an employee discount? There never seems to be anyone around to help. When you finally find someone, they have a poor attitudes about needing to help you. The photo machines are always down and only sometimes is this posted. Otherwise you take the time to set up your pictures and only find out when you go to print. read more

The Walmart in Macomb Illinois is a good Walmart and the staff are friendly and helpful. It is very busy and it seems like they all work very hard. It has all the stuff at a fair price. I think the Jewelry department is horrible. I have been there 3 times to get a nose ring out of a case and no one came to help me. Every time I had waited about 15 minutes, even asked a couple of people if they could help me and all they would say was "hold on, somebody can come help you in a minute". Today I was waiting for about 10 minutes when this lady came behind the counter, looked at me then started to walk away. I had to go out of my way to scream "excuse me miss, can I get some help please". She used the excuse that she was not clocked in yet and she could not help me, then walked away. I understand if you are not supposed to do anything with a register when you are not clocked in but all I needed was the case to be open to get a $5 nose ring. She even had the keys right with her but refused to help. When I decided to leave and check out the rest of my items I complained to the cashier. I told her I knew it wasn't her fault at all but I figured if I would say something to her, something could be done. She even told me that people complaine all the time about the jewelry department... so why don't they do something about it?!?!?!?! read more
