I normally do not go to walmart in person. I happen to stop midday at this one. It was very calm and clean! Sometimes when big rushes happen it looks like unsupervised toddlers have been let loose! You know, things in the isle etc. This was not the case here. It looks like this location has their stuff together. I was able to walk safety through the isles and locate all that I needed. The parking lot is big with plenty of parking. The checkout was fine. I did the self checkout. A warning with tap to pay, walmart does not accept any tap to pay unless it's on the walmart app. I do like the emailed or text recipe options though. read more

I have been a loyal Walmart customer at the Lewis Center location (store #2725) for the past 25 years, until recently. Recently, my delivery orders have frequently been incorrect or missing items. My last order, on October 4, 2025, included major items that were missing yet I was still charged. When I contacted the corporate office, I received a refund of $35.35, which included a $15 promotional code (XXXXX_____) to use on my next purchase, expiring January 2, 2026. Today, Friday, November 21, 2025, I visited Walmart for the first time in over a month to buy a few items and to save time versus driving to Kroger in Delaware, Ohio. To my surprise at checkout, I asked the cashier to apply the $15 promo, but I was told I could not because I no longer have an active Walmart membership/account (no active username, etc.). Frustrated, I left all my purchases on the conveyor and walked out. I then called the local store at 740-657-1341 starting at 7:19 a.m. and continuing until 9:39 a.m. EST, but I have yet to reach a Walmart employee. I've called the toll free number, nothing. I don't shop at Walmart often, and only visited this one because it was close by at the time that I needed something. I'm not normally in this part of town either, which really makes my experience a one off. That said, this Walmart definitely stands out from others in the Columbus area. I was shocked at how clean and organized it was. I needed something from a locked case back in the electronics department and it wasn't hard to find an employee to help me out and they were super nice. The check out lines were also under control, which is out of the norm compared to other locations. I was in and out of there quick. It's not likely I'll find myself here again, mainly because it's out of the way for me, but I would return if the situation arose. read more

I placed a delivery order ($9.95 service fee + 6.00 tip) for groceries from the Lewis Center Walmart on Wednesday for delivery the following morning by noon. The groceries were never delivered Thursday, without explanation for the delay. We did get multiple notifications that our order was "delayed" and would be delivered "soon". Soon never came. On Friday morning we received further notice that our order was still delayed and for us to either reschedule or arrange for in store pickup. What incompetence! I was up here for a conference and needed some supplies so decided to stop in. I actually made two separate trips. Both times were reality easy in and out visits. Found an ad online for a clearance price for an item that was 56% off. Went to the store and grabbed 2 of them. Got to the register, was told 25% off. Showed them the website was told that the website doesn't matter and what THEY scan is what matters. Showed him the website again and that Walmart was the seller not a 3rd party. He went and got the next person. Same conversation. Was told they don't price match their own website, just what they scan. Was offered a manager and declined. I bought a toy at the Bethel Rd. Supercenter, was leaving when I realized I was overcharged. I went back to the shelf and took a picture of the price. I went back up and the line was too long to wait in again. I was at the Lewis Center Tuesday, showed my receipt and picture to customer service and asked for a $2.00 refund. She refused and said they didn't carry that toy. Well they do now because I returned it and got a complete refund. Instead of a $2.00 loss, they had a $23.73 loss. I was in this Wal-Mart on Feb. 10th around 1:00 PM. And I was impressed with an employee that directed me to a cashier that had a shorter line. And the cashier (lane 9) was very nice, double bagged the heavy stuff, handled everything with care. And said thank you. The store was clean well stocked. I believe when a store is run like this it's all about the management team. I normally shop at the Kroger in Sunbury for food. That store is the opposite. The employees are aloof to down right rude, and the store is usually a wreck. It's all about management. read more

This Walmart is pathetic. I go here because it's close to my job so I need something that isn't at another store it's pretty accessible, but other than that I don't like it. There's never any carts but the parking lot is full of them. Now I can see during the weekends when it's busy but there is logically no reason I should go in at 9pm on a Wednesday night and there are no carts in the store nor baskets. Terrible customer service. Had an appointment scheduled with the Walmart tire center at 7am Tuesday December 27th. I showed up on time and was told the tire center did not open until 9. Not only was I able to schedule a 7 am time slot on the website and purchase $800 worth of new tires I received a confirmation email the night before saying that the appointment was set and they would see me at 7am. Online Order experience - Not an acceptable experience I placed an online order using the app on my phone at 7:34 am 3/31/20.  I received an immediate email confirmation telling me to wait for an email when my order was ready for pickup. at 12:02 pm I received an update email that said, We're sorry, but the order shown below is delayed. Please don't head to the store yet The app says that pickup orders close at 7:00 pm.  When 6:00 pm rolled around I was concerned, so drove up to the store to see what was going on. I found my way to the customer service desk and asked for help. I was then directed around the corner to an area with large orange lockers, another person came over to assist.  Neither one of us could get the machine to recognize my order number, and the bar code in the email wouldn't scan. He had to use his device and finally got the locker opened.  I took possession of my package at 6:20 pm. I noticed a sticker on one of my boxes that had my order info on it, and the thing that stood out was the part that said "Due Time: 12:00 pm" Nobody explained why I didn't receive a notification, nor did I receive an apology.   I was not impressed with this online ordering process. I could have gone in anytime today, and just picked up my product, but I thought ordering and paying ahead would be easier, Nope! This online ordering experience was not acceptable. read more

Typical Walmart: huge, kinda crazy, lots of good deals. I don't really like Walmart, but they are convenient and cheap, so sometimes they are a necessity. This time I was trying to find an eclectic assortment of items, from food to electronics, and I found most of them, at good prices. Service was really good. Normally every worker is busy, and this one was but jumped to help me, and actually knew where everything was even in other departments. Saved me some time, and I wish I'd noticed his name. Parking lot is always full. The place is huge so it helps to know where the departments are. Large selection, so you will probably find what you want. read more

Horrible shopping experience!!!!!! I came to pick up and order and they gave my order to someone else! Then they lied about re-picking my order! One of the workers stood right in my face and said they had to leave because their shift was over and asked me to come back the next day! Told me to go inside and ask for a refund! This is the Walmart closest to my home in Columbus. It has pretty much everything that any Walmart superstore has to offer. I used to not visit this superstore frequently before because of the numerous other grocery shopping options much closer to home. I recently started shopping here. The variety of goods is tremendous. This gives customers a lot more freedom in choosing groceries from a wide range of prices. The non grocery products are also available in a number of quality brands ranging from luxurious to basic. For example, the last time I went to Walmart I was looking for a men's leave in conditioner. I found many brands and also many more complimentary products for hair care. These were some of the things that I could never have found in my local supermarkets. read more

Well, it's a Wal-Mart in a busy place. The parking lots needs some tlc. And they need to hire someone to get carts from all over the parking lot. There has been no carts inside every time we come here. The lack of employees is just scary. There was even an alarm going off outside in the garden department and no one responded to it. While they a decent selection of what you need, especially if it's make up...Wal-Mart really needs to go back to being a caring, attentive, clean place for all to shop at and it wouldn't hurt the customers to be a bit more responsible as well. Overall good Walmart have gone to it my entire life but this instance was different. Bought a cosmic red PS5 controller from the electronics section and when I got back home It turned out to be a damaged white controller in a red box. I went back to return it and Jackie, the manager working there at the time, wouldn't let me return it because it was a different product than the packaging displayed it as (like it was my fault not theirs). They took absolutely no responsibility and blamed it on either me or PlayStation. They did absolutely nothing for me to get me my money back. Now I have to deal with their mistake and find out how to sell the broken controller that I payed $80 for. They say "customer satisfaction guaranteed", well I surely wasn't satisfied. This location is awful. Every time we use their grocery pick up service, something is already rotten. We've had to get refunds multiple times for tomatoes already being moldy. But this last time takes the prize for worst experience. 1. All of the produce from 4 days ago has gone bad. 2. They substituted an item I asked them not to substitute. 3. They have rodents. We opened our bread today to find bite marks in it and a huge hole in the bag. And before you think it happened in my house, the produce sitting out on the counter near the bread was untouched. read more

I come here on the way home from work when I need to pick up that one item. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. It's okay as a walmart - I'm not sure about it "lacking" since it has a deli counter and produce? but good luck getting help on the sales floor. Went in Saturday at 4 to do a money transfer...Employee who was scheduled to do transfer had already left... I asked for employee to find a manager... She walked away... I was advised to go to Tuttle Mall... Finally, flagged down a manager... Update, I went back in on Sunday...Money machine was down again... We got a manager and two other employees neither of which could operate the money machine... The long and short of it is it says on the slip they can do transfers within 10 minutes of placing the order... Two days and I still never received my transaction... I like this Walmart store! They seem to always to have ample staff on duty that are helpful or willing to find out if they have what you are looking for. As I was getting ready for our daughter's wedding, I was able to find many of the things I needed for making projects I was working on. I was able to get these done for less and as beautiful as if I had shopped at a specialty store! This store has always been clean with staff loading shelves or stocking shelves. I guess my only problem with the store is that they have a very small fresh meats area and it's not always great looking products. I purchase many things from their store but usually go elsewhere for meat shopping. I will continue to shop there but for things not grocery related. read more

This wall mart customer service is the worst one. If you need a case open especially in the hunting department you have to wait for an hour for the to find a person with the key and most of the time they don't and can't find that person. They search every bag, and check each receipt from every customer, regardless if the item is over-sized or not. I asked the greeter if I was legally obligated to comply, in which she responded, 'We're all responsible for our own actions.' Sad to report that this store does not believe in treating customers well. I called ahead to see if they carry a craft supply. After waiting 10 minutes on hold to get so, I hung up and called back only to be put on hold for another 9 minutes before I could finally speak to someone who had a clue that I wanted to speak to someone who works in their arts & craft department to get my question answered. I have also had similar incidents in the store regarding the lack of knowledge possessed by employees responsible for selling cell phones and signing up customers for cell phone contracts. This Walmart is pretty clean and I enjoy going here. What can you say really, it's Walmart. This one is in a good area so you feel safe visiting. There are also plenty of shops nearby to eat at, if you don't want to eat Subway in the Walmart itself. My only complaint is it's the closest one to Westerville so for me it's a bit of a drive but that will be changing soon when we get our own Walmart here next year. read more

Whoever put this in as a supercenter needs to have their head examined. This is an "extended service" store, meaning it has a few grocery items, but no fresh department. John D. got it right by calling it a "smallmart." If you're looking for a supercenter, keep driving down 23 til you get to Lewis Center. There's a supercenter. Went in here once and never again. For Delaware, this is ghetto. It gets two stars, though, because in lacking an actual grocery side, there's no nasty produce or lazy deli workers. You still have to worry about associates never being around when you need them, though. read more

This Walmart has gotten so bad .. there are harshly any staff here and when u do find them they have no idea of what ur talking about or how to help you . I stood at customer service desk for a return For more than30 mins and no one showed up .. as other employees just stood there looking at me ... then when I get to ask someone they say oh customer service is closed because they don't have enough staff to run it !!! The shelves are almost empty ! It's dirty. There is so much nasty stuff on the floors .. the produce section Is disgusting the fruits and vegetables are rotten ! .. but yet they still close at 10-11 pm and they state they do because so they can make sure their stores are clean and stocked for their customers this place is a disaster !! If I could give zero stars I would. Fair warning do not take your car to Walmart in Lewis center. Dishonest people working on your car. I took my car in to Walmart Lewis Center for a simple bulb change and they forgot to put my air inlet duct back in my car!!! That's a large piece that's about 2-3 feet long... Not easy to forget and certainly someone realized at some point that there was an extra car part lying around but didn't want to get in trouble so God knows what they did with it... They also didn't bolt everything back together! Left the bolts up on the ledge by my wiper blades which I found a couple weeks later when changing my wipers But their camera footage doesn't go back that far to be able to prove anything so they are off the hook and I'm out a large piece of my car!
