Store is very unorganized. Many items were pushed to the back of the shelves and hard to find and reach. The app said they were in a specific aisle but they were not there. It made shopping difficult and took much longer. read more

Came to pick up my new glasses, they were ready in less than a week. I also got a purple umbrella and a couple sports bras. Service was friendly. Store was super busy today. I am sure because of the upcoming holiday. Luckily I was in and out quick, read more

Showed up at 7am to get a tire patched for a nail. Was told they would take care of it quickly. They pulled it in the garage immediately. 2 hours later and it still isn't complete. Be honest with your customers, if I had known it'd take this long I never would've stayed. I expected this to take 30 minutes. Especially with no one else in line. read more

It's Walmart you can't expect too much. Things are out of stock sometimes it's a store but I've always had good experiences with most of the cashiers. There's a girl named Siera (I'm probably spelling it wrong) she's always helping me in self checkout & when she's at an actual register always nice and very helpful! read more

Went to buy an electric shaver , of course they were locked up. Finally after 15 minutes AFTER pushing assistance button, and wandering around a young man asked if he could help me. Long story short , the ONLY woman in the ENTIRE store that could help me had gone home and she had the key ! Are you kidding me ??? I left without the razor wondering who in hell is running these places!!! read more

If I could give it zero stars I would. Waited for curbside pickup for over 2 hours while they loaded other customers who came after. Was never approached or told anything. When I finally asked about the order I was told they were behind and "don't tell us how to do our job". Absolutley disgraceful customer service. Will never step foot in this store. read more

Avoid this Walmart you can find a better one down the road go to Southport go to Wilmington don't come to this one. It's dirty. The isles are small. Never have what you're looking for. Always gotta go somewheres else to find what you're looking for. Checking out is a joke, it's like being in a corral. It's so small and crowded. You can't move it's dirty. The machines are dirty. They are never cleaned then you got people walking around getting stuff for people that needs to go out because it was ordered. They're always in the way, they never move and rude. Just a avoid this place, you can find a better Walmart somewhere don't come to the little place that is dirty and rundown read more

Employees are thieves. A woman left cash at a self checkout. I gave it to ab attendant and her and her male partner split the money and put it in their pockets. Called to store, different departments with no answer. Called the 1-800 #. They couldn't help. Called the store back now 2 hrs later just for the manager to answer and immediately hang up with out speaking. So now I'm blasting them everywhere I can. Next I'll post pics of the employees when I take them. read more

This Walmart is fantastic! It's clean, it's organized and it has merchandise that the other Walmarts that I've been to don't have. The desserts in the bakery section look incredible and it's well stocked. We were there in the early afternoon and it wasn't crowded at all, this is a really nice location! read more

The worst automotive department. Have had my oil changes here for years. Service gets worse every time. Today will be my last time having this service completed by Walmart Automotive. Had a 9:00 AM appointment, oil service began at 11:38. What good is an appointment? 3+ hours for an oil change is insane. If these "mechanics" worked any slower they'd be going backwards. Good Bye Walmart Automotive. You've lost another customer. read more

This Walmart Pharmacy in Leland is fantastic! I recently moved here from out of state & went to CVS on Market & Covil to have my perscriptions transferred. It was a disaster & a waste of time. A horrible experience! So I went over to Walmart, it was close to closing but Chanthau helped me & couldn't have been nicer. She was very helpful. She had everything transferred & Jason had them filled in record time. They also got me an extremely better price on them than my insurance had & what CVS quoted me .They took the time to run it through Good RX, CVS refused. When I picked them up Chanthou remembered me & helped me. I would highly recommend The Leland Walmart Pharmacy if you are new in town or even if you have lived here for a long time. Thank you Chanthou & Jason, you're the best! read more

If negative stars were a thing I would give the auto center a -10. I called and spoke with a rude man who stated that they in fact had the tire that I needed so I asked if I could schedule an appointment for the same day, the man stated that they do not do same day appointments. I asked the man if I could come get the tires and take them else where to be put on, he let me know that if that was my personal preference. So I drove the 30 minutes (on a spare tire) to the store where another rude man told me they in fact do not have the tires in stock. They did not offer to order any tires or any further assistance. Highly do not recommend read more

Recently had an incident at the WalMart in Southport, NC to repair a tire. Unfortunately, the craftsmen loosened the lugs on the front left tire and forgot to retighten them before returning the car to my wife. She subsequently got on the street, noticed something not quite right, drive back into the parking lot where the front left tire fell off - that's right - completely feet off - luckily no one was hurt but a $25 tire job turned into $5000 car repair. Now my insurance picked up the largest portion; however, I still owed $1000 deductible. Considering this was "Walmart's fault", I approached Walmart for reimbursement. In steps a company called CMI, whose only client is Walmart - founded and created by Walmart - for the protection of Walmart - Now I understand this organization was created to prevent frivolous lawsuits (slip and falls); however, in this situation, Walmart was clearly in the wrong and should reimburse me. Of course, you guessed it, delay after delay, and of course, they have no intention of reimbursement unless I force their hand. Walmart makes approximately $460/sec profit - this is between 2 to 3 seconds of profit margin to reimburse - but it seems they would rather stiff a veteran than step up and admit they made a mistake. Just a word to the wise about who and what organizations you deal with - some people have no honor. I don't think I'll be shopping WalMart in the near future. J.Paul Getty used to say, "If you can trust a man, a piece of paper isn't worth anything. If you can't trust a man, that piece of paper still isn't worth anything". It all comes down to trust. read more

Thanks to your sales associate who was working the garden center on August 9th about 2:30pm, you lost a sale. My central air unit messed up, so I needed a temporary fix until my AC repairman could find the time to come fix it. Walked in the garden center and was trying to find someone to help me pick out the best AC unit for my house, only when I did, she acted as if I was bothering her. Asked to speak with a manager, she asked why and I said because you don't act like you want to help people. After she refused to get a manager, I left. Went to Lowe's, where I received friendly service, knowledgeable information and a great price on a window unit. Thanks Lowe's, I appricate you treating your customers with respect, unlike Walmart!!!! read more

New to NC and Leland. Quite a nice town. Now, if the Walmart could live up to the reputation of this nice town, wouldn't that be something to strive for? I have been to this Walmart 5 or 6 times in the last 2 weeks and I cringe everytime I go in because I use the self-checkout. Normally, this is how to avoid lazy and ignorant people, but not this Walmart. The same young Walmart employees seem to be hanging out here. Two of them, one is named Jayla(sp) according to her name tag. The other lady appears to be the same age group. One wears airpods and completely ignores anyone asking for help. When you finally get her attention, it is like her feet are glued to the floor. She ambles over to you with not a care in the world and then says absolutely nothing. No manners. No personality. We have asked her the same question several times. The other one gives you every reason why she doesn't know how to do something. So why does she have a card that allows her to override prices? Produce prices are not the same at checkout as they are where you pick them out. No matter how many times I ask if someone is going to look into this, there is no resolution or any conversation that they even care. Like others before me in these comments, who is the manager of this store? Does anyone know what is going on with the employees and if they are productive at all. They certainly are not there to help customers. I have been in many nice Walmarts, so I'm not going to allow them to chalk this up to, "it's Walmart." Their salary should be reflective of the wages they are collecting. According to online, Mark Williams is the Branch Manager. Is he aware of his employees? I would be interested in knowing. read more

It's a friggen wal-mart what can you expect. Any knucklehead with a fist full of coins can shop here

I have never in my life been to a store with lazier employees. I get it...it's Walmart but some kind of positive about this location would be nice. Lets start with the milk aisle...about 3 months ago someone spilled milk all over the milk door which caused every container of milk to be covered in milk. Did they remove the milk? No. Is it cleaned after 3 months? No. Does it smell like rotten milk? Yes. Now moving on over to the bakery...after Picking up a dozen donuts about a week ago I brought them to the self checkout to pay. Before I could scan them I noticed bugs...yes bugs in the donuts that were packaged by the bakery. Luckily I noticed and told the self checkout helper I didn't want them anymore and she said well I don't know what to do with them. Well honey...my first step would be to show the bakery and then throw them away because that's disgusting. More than a hand full of times I have walked up to the self checkout with an item and it doesnt have a barcode. I have been told that people open items that aren't suppose to be sold individually and to go switch it out myself if I want. So since I really needed tissues that day I walked my happy butt over to the aisle to switch them out...after finding about 30 packages without barcodes it's very obvious that an employee opened them and left them after realizing because once again these employees are lazy. If you are telling a customer that this happens often don't you think the manager would try and fix the problem? Who is the manager and where is he or she?? Pickup orders are always a joke. Its a hit or miss if you will even be served at your scheduled time. Multiple times I arrive and once someone finally comes out they say we're having issues come back in a couple hours...call before. Can you get someone to answer the pickup phone? No. Can you get someone to answer customer service? Yes..but they send you to the pickup line that guess what? No one answers. And don't expect it to be first come first serve because these employees purposely bring the smallest orders first. I have sat there being the first car to arrive and after a half a dozen cars come and go they walk up and ask me who I am. (after I've checked in) I have actually had about a dozen problems with pickup services. The shelves are always under stocked and with damaged items but there are always employees standing in the aisles...in the customers way like they are more important than anyone else. I get it 2020 made people lazy but this cannot be how Walmart as a whole wants their stores ran. Anyways, I have been to Walmarts all over the country and this is by far the WORST location I have ever seen!! read more

After completing my shopping, I want to find a line to pay, there was only two lines with cashiers and 15 self checkouts. Against my better judgment I decided to use the self checkout. After scanning my basket full of items I scanned a gift card I needed to buy. Of course it says I need an associate, when he came over he informed me that I need to go stand in the long line and by with a cashier. So Walmart lost a sale and I walked out. I'll buy my items on amazon and do not plan on shopping at Walmart any more. I feel if I'm doing the work of your cashiers I should receive a discount. Self check out is a joke. read more

The pharmacy is HORRIBLE. I called and they said 3 prescriptions would take a half hour. Got there within 10 min with my sick child and they said an hour. Circled the store and went back, waited in line and was told at an hour and 20 min that it would be at least another 20 min. The girl with the pixie cut was rude as hell when I asked them (politely) to finish up quickly as it had been an hour and 20 min...I took my prescriptions and left. read more

A very nice, clean Wal-Mart. Huge selection, and convenient to buy domestic goods as well as food.

I love this Walmart! Shop there all the time! The staff is always helpful to me. The store is always clean. I love the deli/bakery too!

II have lifetime tire rotation on my car. I get there at 6:45AM so I can be first in line and get to work. The young lady with the freckles who opens in the morning is always 10-20 minutes late. All the mechanics are there early ready to work on time at 7AM but cannot do anything since the young lady with freckles is never on time. After she finally rolls in late it takes another 5 -10 minutes for her to set up before the door is open. The mechanics joke about her always being late. I have complained to management several times but nothing ever changes. Her lateness is tolerated and her lateness is a joke. Number one she is lucky she even has a job in this economy. This is a business. When a business commits to open at a certain time the employee in charge of opening must be ready to serve customers at the opening time. If you don't open on time you will lose customers. It doesn't take a Rhodes Scholar to figure this out. But Wal-Mart doesn't care if their customers have to waste their valuable time due to a habitually late employee. I repeat this has happened each and every time I have gone in. It is not an isolated incident. I am glad my tires are finally wearing out so I do not have to go to Wal-Mart and put up with this idiocy. Again I have reported this to management many times and nothing has changed. Maybe management should get off their butt and come in at 6:55AM to check on this employee. But that would mean they would have to get up early and go out of their way to do their job. The young lady with the freckles knows management does not get in until 8AM so she keeps getting away with not doing her job. The auto mechanics told me this so I guess Wal-Mart workers are much smarter than Wal-Mart management. This appears to be the work culture at Wal-Mart. I think I'll apply at Wal-Mart so I can get paid for doing a job that no one holds me accountable for what I am doing. That is the American way. If only Sam Walton knew what his store and his employees has deteriorated to. read more

I gave it 1 star because that was the only way I could leave a review. The pharmacy at this Walmart location is horrible. First things first ... these people are so RUDE! If you do not like your job get a different job! The pharmacy seems to be ran like the rest of the store ... with very few people that seem to be angry at the fact they work at Walmart. I decided to try this pharmacy against the advice of my physician. It would seem that even my doctor has had problems here. I am now doing all my business with the Walgreens across the street and I LOVE IT!! Quality over Quantity wins every time! Just because you can buy your food, medications, gasoline, tires, and clothing all in one store doesn't necessarily mean it's a great idea to do so! read more

I think this Walmart has the worst customer service I have ever had at a Walmart. I do not expect much from the service but this past experience was over the top. I was at the bakery dept. waiting while the lady behind the case decorated a cake for a customer who was waiting. When she finished she handed the cake to the lady and walk away. Left me standing there. Not even a, I will be with you in minute or let me wait on someone who was waiting in the delly. Just walked away and went in the kitchen. When I went to the checkout to wait in the very long line (which you expect) they opened a lane right next to the line I and was waiting in and opens up. While everyone who was in the back flew up as the people who have been waiting a lot longer stand there. Can you teach your employees a little customer service. So they appreciate the people who pay their paycheck. I have worked in retail for many years and when we opened a new lane we went over to the line and took the people who were next in line not the people who just got in line. Show a little appreciation for your customers. I could write a book on the horrible treatment you get at this Walmart. The sad part is, they do not care. read more
