I had a cart with no more than 25 items. Some belong to my mom who is there with me (handicap) and the other items were mine. We were the only ones at self checkout . I was on my last item to scan and the cashier comes up to me to say that we can't have more than 15 items (honestly that's the first time I had seen that sign at that end. I was using the cart for disabled people and went down an isle and there were two female walmart workers it was on the clearance isle one worker said to the other watch out because he is coming through too fast which I was not. These workers some of them they do not care how they speak around customers or if you hear or not. I worked at walmart 35 years ago much different when i worked there. Isles are blocked continuously and this starts with management you have a night crew use it accordingly. I am tired when i go in there like I am in their way . So I was shopping at Walmart, and I usually use self checkout, because I've always liked it. Imagine my surprise, when I was told by an employee, that self checkout is now 15 items or less only. So you mean to tell me, that if I have to get a lot of groceries when it's payday for the military (when it's at its craziest), I'm going to be stuck waiting in a long line, just to get my stuff, which will probably be thawed out by the time I get to the register ? Are you kidding me ? You have a lot, and I mean a lot of self checkout registers, and now they're barely open and have long lines, because y'all don't want more than 15 items at self checkout ! C'mon now ! This is ridiculous ! And the regular registers you have, are only half staffed ! And don't tell me, "Well you can always do grocery pickup in the parking lot !" Do you know how hard it is to get a time for it ? Y'all are unbelievable ! So until the self checkout thing changes, you guys are barely getting my business. If I can't get it at the commissary, I'll drive to Market Basket, which is way on the other side of town from where I live, and give them my business. There was this rude black women with glasses called Maria that worked in the daily area. I asked for some chicken to be cooked and with attitude she said like like I told the other guy you need to order it online. It's just Me she's so rude to the fellow coworkers. read more

With the limited amount of options for groceries and household goods this Walmart provides a well needed supplier. This Walmart has friendly staff and even the shoppers are not so bad. The store always seems to be stocked and it's always packed full of people. The parking lot is always crowded and the amount of people crossing really slow traffic. Other than that for an older Walmart it's one of the better ones. The gas station out front usually has cheaper fuel prices than other places. read more

Walmart is what it is, a very large chain store that is loved to death by thousands of customers. When staff are hard to find, remember that they are underpaid, but very helpful. The checkout line can be long, so enjoy the wildlife in line, it could be that your outfit is entertaining others also. They are the land of cheap products that we all love. read more

This review is about my experience today at the car service station. We pulled up for a basic oil change and were told immediately to back up under the overhang so the employee could ring is up. For a basic oil change, it was over $36! We decided to go ahead and get the oil change because we were already there. The employee then tells us that we can't get our oil changed because he didn't have the correct filter in stock. Awful customer service and no staff communication. We won't be back. read more

Absolutely worse customer service I've had. They were rude to my mother inlaw when she went to order a cake for my daughter. Then gave my brother in law hell to pick up her cake. The worse !!! Tried calling customer service for 30 minutes. Had to keep calling back because someone would pick up the phone and immediately hang up. Produce and products is underwhelming. Although its slow sometimes, the store associates and managers are nice and helpful. I understand though, since the store is being re-laid out so I get being stretched thin. Very rarely have ever had any kind of problem. Even got my wallet back when I lost it there. Yeah, the $40 was gone, but I would have gladly paid that to get my license, ID cards, credit and debit cards, photos, and business cards back. I can't say any WALMART product is exceptional, but for Walmart, whether adequate or inadequate; Leesville Walmart is highly adequate! read more

It's Walmart. This one in particular has a way better selecion of foods than the one in DeRidder.

Every time I go here, I use the self checkout, I've never had a pleasant experience with anyone who works here.

went there for an oil change have a 2013 outlander after 2 hour wait oh we cant change your oil says this high tech graduate your oil plug has a drip of oil coming out of it so we wont be responsible for changing your oil.It has a bad gasket or the bolt is stripped I laughed at this 18 year old engine tech because I have worked as a mechanic for twenty years and I was the last one to change the oil.The man before me had a 2015 5.0 mustang and they told him the same thing.
