On the night of November 16, 2023 we were at Walmart Service Center in Laurel, Ms. We had planned to buy a new tire for my wife's car. They had pulled the car inside the shop to replace the tire. We then realized that we had not given the key for the lugs to the girl in the shop. I walked out to find the key and a mechanic named Bill yelled at me that I couldn't be in the shop!!! I tried to explain to him about the key. He continued to yell at me that I could not be in the shop. He said that I had to tell them and they would get the key. I didn't know exactly where it was and I didn't want just any one looking around in her car. He started yelling for them to call security!! My wife said just cancel the order and we left. Will never go back there again!!!!! Bill needs to find a new job where he doesn't talk to customers. Never going back again!!! read more

Laurel is a one Walmart town. It is the center of most shopping here like in most towns this size. I can't say that I have ever had a bad experience here. It can get crowded on weekends and the parking lot is just big enough. I give it a 3 because it is like most other Walmarts and therefore serves its purpose. Somewhat of a necessary evil. read more

Bakery review Custom cakes. Forget it. Go to Kroger or better yet a local bakery. Ordered birthday cake for 85 year old Pop 13 days in advance. One day before got a call said they were out of flavor ordered had to settle for another. Never got a notice for ready pick up (3 days later still says delayed on my app and no one ever bothered to call). When father went to pick up at time supposed to be done, they told him they couldn't find it, had no record of it, and asked what was on it. He had no idea because semi surprise for birthday. Finally they found it after 20 minutes of him waiting scared to death he was going to get the virus. They never called me. I did call later to make sure it was picked up ok and they said yes he had gotten it. Then called my Pop to make sure it was ok. Read me the script. Happy Birthday...WITHOUT HIS NAME! Seriously? This is the worst Walmart ever as one reviewer has already said--years ago. Gimme a break. Should be pretty easy to read order details from their own company's app and have the product in stock 2 weeks before. Pretty much willfully low IQ and uncaring employees working that department. They take forever to do anything, then have more excuses than a hooker caught in the act. They catch attitudes when asked questions about anything. They need to do a complete overhaul. The Walmart in Laurel, MS is, by far, the WORST Walmart I have ever been to! I am a senior citizen and a diabetic, so when they started opening at 6:00 am on Tuesdays for the elderly, I thought this was wonderful. That is until I started getting up early to take advantage of this. Past THREE times I went, they did NOT have anything I needed, not even the BASICs, like bread, cleaning products, etc... on their shelves! You would think, if they are going to set up early shopping for seniors, they would RE-STOCK the essentials and things elderly folks need! But NO...instead the employees won't help you and stand around, in your way, talking, and therefore preventing you from social distancing. Guess I will have to shop at the higher-priced stores in Laurel from now on. Pay more just to get essentials and try to stay safe and alive! They need to fire everyone working there! read more

Went to Walmart in Laurel MS on the night of 6/7/18. CEO get your head out of the sand. Ready to check out could not find a cashier at a cash register but there were 3 of them standing close to cash registers. I ask them if one of them could check me out. They all said no you have to go to the other end of the store. I walk all the way across the store to the grocery section there were no cashiers except 1 by were you go into the scan and go. I ask her if she could check me out and she said no you have to check your on self out. I ask again and she said you have to check your own self out. This is cheap and crappy when a store don't have to pay cashiers, don't give a discount for checking our own selves out and don't pay us for doing Walmart work. Brenda Davis read more

Walmart pickup in Laurel MS is a dumpster fire. They should stop inflicting it on unsuspecting victims. You get the notification that your groceries are ready after being told they are delayed. You get there, then wait for 1 1/2 hours. Then I finally flag down an inept employee, that actually says I don't know when you will get your groceries! So I'm about to burn down the building by this point, so then another ass clown associate comes up and says I can come back tomorrow and get my order. So I leave and promptly cancel my order, vowing never to darken the doors again. I left a review on I believe Walmart's website. I get a call a few days later from some dipshit that works in the pickup department. I miss his call, so I call back only to be told that they would call me back. Can't help but go to this store because I live here. Most people probably just have ad matches done but not me. I like the quality and service at other grocery stores in the area. There are just some things that you have to go to WalMart for. I go out of town to other WalMart stores as often as possible. read more

Well I must say I was surprised, I took my mom shopping she lives there and there was no electric buggy inside, I am looking around for one, and who comes to help me...THE STORE MANAGER who happened to be walking by. He went outside and brought the buggy back for me and my 83 year old mom. I must say there still are some people at Walmart who care about people. Such a nice man he was. read more
