Just a average Supercenter store! Prices for fruit and vegetables better than Winn Dixie and produce place down the street ! Wanted to find a few Fourth of July trunks for My husband and shirts no luck !! Most everything full price ! I walked by some Walmart worker in woman's section and her co- worker walked up to her to chat away !! Had to wait a few minutes for them to notice me as I wanted to ask them a question about any Fourth of July merchandise left !! It's convenient so when I'm here this is where I shop but Aldi and Presidente supermarket are cheaper !! They are just not available in this area ! Oh well !! read more

If I could zero stars I would. The tire lube "express" department needs work!! I sat in my car for about 12 mins. No one came, so I went inside. The associate asked me what I needed, I said an oil change. She said, go back outside and someone will be with you. I advised her I had been out here and everyone was ignoring me. She advised me to go back out and someone would be with me shortly. That was 26 minutes ago!!! No one in this department values their job. No one takes pride in it. I tried to ask someone out in the bay a question and was told to go inside, they couldn't help me!! Ridiculous, what a joke. read more

Every time I go, I have to search for someone to help me with something. You see associates standing around and talking to each other, not doing their jobs. Today needed help in electronics. I finally found someone told them I needed help, they spoke to someone in Spanish, then I heard the announcemen that the customer needed help in the electronics are, and I waited 20 minutes no one showed. Will not go back to this store. read more

Have been here twice and have not had an issue. Found jeans for $4 and $5 that fit and look great. So far, no issues thankfully. Have so far found everything I have been looking for and need. read more

My husband and I are elderly. We do Walmart Grocery pickup to avoid risking going in the store and getting COVID. We did a grocery pickup today. There was an error with our order. I called the Grocery pickup number. The lady I spoke to said we would have to bring the item back to the store. We were talking about something that was .50. I told her she was crazy why would we order grocery curbside pickup to avoid the COVID and then do a return to the store? Walmart is going crazy. We will have to figure another way to get our groceries. Next time the amount could be a lot more than 50 cents and what would we do then? I do not want to order my groceries from a store that is intentionally trying to expose us to the COVID. Forget it! read more

I like this Walmart and I hardly shop anywhere else especially with covid going rampant in FL. The curbside is order and delivery is fast with minimal human contact. All the employees wear the mask. For my perishables I usually go inside before 7 to avoid crowds and I am in and out with a huge supply of groceries. Their produce is always fresh and always reasonably priced. read more

The Walmart in Winter Haven had no cashiers at 8 am on 7/27/20, so I'll be shopping at this Lake Wales Walmart. For safety, I got there at 7 am, when Walmart in Winter Haven opened, but they went at least an hour without a cashier. Though I had almost $300 in groceries, I had to go through self-checkout, figuring out how to price tomatoes and other vegetables. Very frustrating. I won't ever go back to the Walmart in Winter Haven. I asked the only two employees visible, and neither had a clue. The store manager, who should have been the backup cashier, was not available, either. Horrible experience read more

If I could've given them no stars to start I would! I have taken both of my vehicles to the Tire & Lube area each time got Ripped Off! 1st time they said they checked all levels, battery and tire pressures with oil change. Next day had to buy a battery at O Reilly 's. The next day went to use wipers and no fluid! 2nd vechicle we took in today. Prior to going we checked oil level, tire pressures, and our left blinker ( we've been having trouble with the bulb shorting out and it works sporadically). Well when we checked out they gave me the check off sheet... it said the oil level was full prior to being serviced Ha Lie ! It also said all lights and fluid levels were checked and filled and working Ha lie #2! We got home and had to fill both the anti freeze and washer fluid. The blinker wasn't working either! So STAY AWAY !!! read more

Called about my RX and the lady was helpful; told me to call back in an hour as it was a transfer but conveniently they were closwd for lunch at that hour so called back 20 minutes after lunch return (2:20) and was told call back again in 30 minutes as they just literally walked in from lunch..... for real! Called to order rolls from bakery for family gathering . When transferred, no one answered. Call was picked back up by original person, stating no one answered, Which I was already aware of. I stated that I would try Publix, in which she states ok and bye! They couldn't care less. Too bad I had to give the 1 star! read more

Stopped here last week heading east. Parking lot is on a rising incline. Don't remember any inside restaurant. Just east of the US27 junction on State Road 60 so a good location for travelers. A lot of businesses along this stretch. Not particularly crowded on a weekday afternoon. Pleasant friendly cashier. read more
