And pretty much what you'd need if you were cooking -- or bringing a gift. I especially liked the blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. All the berries were gorgeously colored and looked like a photograph. The local strawberries were available by the half flat as well as the pint. We, however, fell in love with the beautiful beefsteak Ruskin tomatoes. On the way home, we got some red ripe ones (for salads and sandwiches) and some green ones (with which to make fried green tomatoes). We haven't had the green ones yet, but we sliced one large one as soon as we got home, added crispy bacon and mayo between two slices of white toast. Oh my. So delicious! Just what a tomato should really taste like. Now we regret not buying a few more... But we will know where to stop next time we are driving through town..,

There are breads, jams and jellies, herbs you can take home and plant, flowering plants as well. So many items available that you wouldn't imagine just by a quick glance from street. I sure wish I could figure out Sprouts Business plan. To the consumer, it appears they build…read morebeautiful new stores. But within a year or so, they start to empty the shelves of merchandise. I understand, they really only want to sell the high profit fake pills, vitamins and potions that have no scientific backing. But to get customers in, they really should stock the produce department, the dairy department and the grocery department. Today 12/29/25, the produce department was empty at 10:00AM. No lettuce, No celery, No kale, No pre-washed lettuce or salads. Sprouts is the only store that carrier a certain non dairy coffee creamer. Usually, I buy 3 when I go in. Today, they had 1 in stock. If this Sprouts was truly a "Farmers Market", I'd worry about the farmer. Truly a disappointment.
