And pretty much what you'd need if you were cooking -- or bringing a gift. I especially liked the blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. All the berries were gorgeously colored and looked like a photograph. The local strawberries were available by the half flat as well as the pint. We, however, fell in love with the beautiful beefsteak Ruskin tomatoes. On the way home, we got some red ripe ones (for salads and sandwiches) and some green ones (with which to make fried green tomatoes). We haven't had the green ones yet, but we sliced one large one as soon as we got home, added crispy bacon and mayo between two slices of white toast. Oh my. So delicious! Just what a tomato should really taste like. Now we regret not buying a few more... But we will know where to stop next time we are driving through town..,

We stopped for lunch early at an adjacent Catfish Restaurant and decided to look around before eating. Lots of local shoppers and their families. Beautiful arrangement of veggies and "SugarSweet" fruits throughout. We will be stopping back on our return trip south for some Dutch made Apple Butter and some Ruskin Beefsteak tomatoes!

There are acres of blueberries growing in neat rows, and they're full of fruit. You enter the farm, park in a grassy field, grab a bucket at a table by the orchard, and head out to pick. The helpful people who give you the buckets tell you a bit about the varieties that they grow, and about the colored streamers on each row that tell you which variety is growing there. Here in Central Florida it gets hot early in the year, so the plants fruit early. What's comfy for the plants is comfy for us, so picking is usually in great weather. When you've finished picking enough, you take the bucket back to the table and pay for what you picked. By comparison, what costs you $8 at a store like Walmart costs you $6 at Beck Brothers farm. So go now, or plan for next April, and get enough blueberries to make your jam, your ice cream, your muffins and pies. Freeze the excess and you'll always be ready to eat the berries that your family and friends picked on a lovely Spring day.

Smack dab in the middle of several neighbors, it's a treat to come on the property. We've been going for a few years now and each year they add small amenities like hand washing stations, rides around the property and picture spots. Parking is free. A bucket at this time in 2025 is $20. We each grab a bucket and take a different row; plan for about an hour to fill it. Feel free to taste to make sure you're getting the kind you like (sweet, sour and mid sour). When paying there is other local offerings like honey (wish they came in a smaller offer)

It's a good drive from where we live and I usually stop if I have other things in the area the vet we use is near here And sometimes I combine it with a trip to them, but this time was after a medical appointment. This is a really long building and when you first stop in, you might think there are multiple businesses, but it's all open inside with one store. Every time we stop here the people working are friendly and helpful. They always have free samples on some of the candies and occasionally on some of the Preserves that they sell. I'm a big fan of their jellies, jams, preserves, and conserves and more. On this occasion, we picked up an assortment of their candies and a couple of jars. One is a raspberry jalapeño jelly and the other one is a blueberry conserve. These are both new ones for us to try and they both sound delicious. I like shopping here because you get to support a local business and everything is tasty. The places well lit and always clean. If you're traveling, they also provide shipping on many of their products. Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

We were pleasantly surprized to find a mix of food, crafts, and drinks on offer at the market. All the vendors we spoke to we're very friendly and gave a lot of information about their products. From honey, to 3D printing, to slime, to pastries, we found a wide variety of appealing products, vendors and people. I've always been a fan of supporting small businesses so it's great to see and hear from a lot of local ones. Looking forward to returning and seeing what is on offer the next Sunday we attend. It got so bad that at contract renewal they were forced to accept new vendors but the quality of stands has been declining and the cost of goods is insanely high. Too bad the town loses a lot of its charm because outsiders bring a bad vibe in.

It's not a huge market, but it has a lot of variety. It looks like a small farmer's market -- it's cute. They also sell Turmeric, Spices and Herb plants off to the side. They sell a variety of honey, brown eggs and always have really sweet pineapples. Now what I will say is that the last few times I've been there have been NO oranges (and perhaps it hasn't been orange season), but I've always gone and gotten oranges from them and literally the last 4 or so times, I haven't been able to get any goods ones. They did have some bagged oranges, but I'm used to seeing the oranges where they now place the watermelon -- again, it could just be that they are out of season, idk. My ONLY gripe though has been that I haven't been getting good watermelons. They haven't been sweet nor ripe so I've been wasting a good amount of money over the last month. Also, I used to really love that their pricing was so much BETTER than your local grocery store, but I'm noticing, their prices aren't that far off anymore from their competitors. I used to be able to go and spend $40 and get everything I needed. My last trip, I spent nearly $70 and that prompted me to start paying more attention when I go the next time.

I guess we are spoiled here in south Florida as there are several local produce markets with much better prices and better quality. But it's always interesting to look around and see what another place has on display. We did buy some apples. Unfortunately, these turned out to be mealy and we wound up tossing the rest of the batch. We bought some fingerling potatoes which turned green a tad early, but before they did, we managed to cook a few of them first and they were okay. They had a lot of other items besides vegetables -- including jams and jellies and honey, et al. We felt these items were a little bit too expensive for us to purchase, as well. I'm still glad we stopped by to check them out. Now we know.
