What a fun way to spend a Saturday! I am a farmers market girly and love to seek them out! I found…read morea video on Instagram showing the market off and knew immediately I needed to make the 1 hour trip to experience it. I woke up early to tackle I-4 and arrived and parked right when it opened. I was able to secure free parking in a close by lot. There were tons of vendors there! This is nice to see since during the summer months there is lot of farmers markets that don't have as many vendors because of the heat but not this one. The streets were all lined on both sides with tents. Some of the vendors I enjoyed was the bread vendor where I got a sourdough loaf to take home and a huge cinnamon roll to enjoy for breakfast. It was delicious. I bought a small plant from the sweetest people. I spoke with a young girl who crocheted tons of animals and I bought a cute little chick that was crocheted. The strawberry lemonade at a booth was so hydrating and yummy. I also liked that the market brought me to alot of shops along the way like antiques and boutiques. I really got to experience downtown Lakeland for the first time. I highly recommend visiting here.

The atmosphere felt lively and full of energy, with plenty of people exploring the variety of offerings. There were great stores along the outer edges, and the mix of vendors showcased everything from fresh produce to unique, handcrafted items. The variety of goods and the different vibe made the experience feel new and exciting, turning a simple visit into a memorable outing.

Let's set the record straight from the start - this is a deep discount grocery store. It isn't…read morePublix, Winn Dixie, WalMart or even Piggly Wiggly. Nope, this is a store in a run-down strip mall that specializes in selling close-to or out-of-date items. Looking for fancy shelving and floors so clean you can eat off them? Go elsewhere. It's obvious this has been at least a couple of other stores long before this company showed up. What you get is a neatly stacked store with items that seem to vary depending upon what they get at any given time. Buy when you see it or possibly lose out. Is some of it outdated? You betcha. However, there is a catch with those manufacturer dates - they are made up. I recently discovered there are very little federal or state regulations concerning those dates; however, manufacturers know you'll ditch something out of fear even if the can or product still looks good. Today I found RC sugar-free cola, 12 pack cans, for $2. In case you're wondering, Walmart has them on "sale" for $5.88. Tastes the same but now I can get 36 cans instead of 12. And how about the Clorox misting spray refill at $1? It sells for $6.78 at Walmart. Now I can get nearly 7 for the price of 1. This list goes on. Since I buy only those items in cans or sealed bottles, I can't comment on the meats, bagged crackers and bread; however, if you consume those perishable items quickly you should be okay. In fact, I have a friend who buys his meats here and cooks them on the grill the same day. He loves the place for the cheap pricing. Staff is attentive and friendly, an oddity given the low bucks nature of the store, but don't let the looks of the store bother you. Like I stated, if you're a neat freak, go elsewhere. As you might imagine, they don't take coupons but they do accept credit cards. If you want deals galore, come here and come often!

Josh and Tyler were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were extremely pleasant, cooperative, well-organized and informative about everything they presented. On Sunday, August 8, we hosted a celebration in our home for 25 of our twice-vaccinated friends and relatives. We were celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary, a 45th wedding anniversary, a 25th wedding anniversary, a 50th birthday, and a 21st birthday, With our open kitchen layout, these two guys were in the thick of the party. Not only was the food presented beautifully, timely, and meticulously, but they were extremely gracious answering the many questions from our guests while continuing to make sure that everything was kept neat and replenished lavishly.
