    Blueberry farm

KUDOS and thanks to the staff for providing supreme quality customer service at Beck Brothers Citrus here in Windermere! The blueberry picking is perfect for group outings, especially for churches and school field trips. They provide transportation to take you to the back of the farm and will also pick you up! To let everyone know, you have to bring CASH only to pay for the blueberries! They do not take Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any form of credit or debit card. You can combine your bucket at the end when cashing out. They also have honey, t-shirts, and water for purchase. I highly recommend all to come and visit to pick blueberries here and support this local business!

Very nice farm! The service is good and they are friendly. The blueberries are very good and sweet. And some of them are huge. The ambiance is nice and familiar. Good farm to walk and pick up some blueberries. Prices are good and affordable. Note they only accept cash.

Very healthy and ready to pick blueberries!

Definitely a must! Fresh plump berries and plenty to keep a safe distance from others! This is a time that antioxidants are prime, and frankly prices can't be beat! You can fill a big bucket for only $15 for FRESH BLUEBERRIES. You can, however, buy as little as $3 worth of berries. CASH only. Please keep that in mind. There are hand washing stations, buckets are sanitized and with 40 acres, keeping a safe social distance is not a challenge at all. They also have cold water bottles for sale, for only 50 cents. Score!!! It gets hot out there, so buy your water before you go out to pick. They have 3 varieties of blueberries marked by green, blue or yellow flag strips. Everything is really organized, and very well kept. Plus, it supports a local neighbor. Very easy to find, and everyone staffed is super friendly! This was a win! Some people even brought their blankets and picnicked out on their grounds. I may do this next time!

It was hot hot hot, the temps that is, but the berry picking was awesome. We wanted to get out and a friend suggested berry picking, especially since they were following CDC guidelines. Before anything happens, you must wash your hands at the handwashing station, then you are given a sanitized bucket and sent on your way. We are new at this and went to the first set of bushes which were pretty bare but the further we walked in, the more berries to be had. A large bucket is $15, cash only. The ripe berries are delicious. There was no problem staying 6-feet away. Nice outing.

Such a great day blueberry picking! Beck Brothers is located in the heart of Windermere right off of Overstreet. The entrance is slightly hidden so just be cautious when your gps is telling you you're close. Parking is outside of someone's nice home. The grass is spray painted so parking is easy! My friend and I approached the tent and were greeted by a nice lady. She asked if we were familiar or our first time at Beck Brothers. It was our first time so she explained that we should look for blueberries in the rows with a yellow and green ribbon tied at the end and handed us a bucket. We were off to pick our blueberries! There are rows after rows of blueberries to pick from. So much fun! A small pint is $3.00, half a bucket is $10.00 and the entire bucket is $15.00 - cash only! Such a great deal for freshly picked blueberries! This is a great place for family fun!! Don't forget the sunscreen!!

First time blueberry picking and it was so much fun! When you arrive you're given a big bucket and sent on your way. Pick as much or as little as you want, just have fun! There are rows and rows and rows of blueberry bushes so it's not crowded and there is plenty to pick from. Pick a row and go down to the very end to start. Everyone seems to start at the beginning of the rows and don't make it to the ends; therefore you'll strike blueberry gold at the ends. There's no shade in the field so bring a hat and sunscreen. They have bottles of water for purchase or you can bring your own. Thenkfully I didn't see any snakes; just a few spiders on webs built into the bushes and lovebugs. There are no actual restrooms as the field is on the property of the family's home, but there were a couple portable potties. Once done, you pay for what you picked. I can't remember exactly but the prices were something like 3lbs for $5, 5lbs for $10, and a full bucket for $15 (see my pics for bucket size). This is a great way to spend a few hours alone or as a family outing. Check out their facebook page for updated details, but currently it says they will be open everyday from 9-5 until mid May.

Awesome place. no one bothers you, nothing imposes any only on services, just take a bucket and go to collect as many berries as you need. the price is very good. the berry is tasty and large. every time we come to this place during the harvest season

My favorite place in town to pick blueberries. Spent about an hour out here picking. It's hot so wearing a hat might help. There are rows and rows of blueberries. You get a full bucket for $15 or half a bucket for $10. Not a bad deal.

Went for Earth Day during the Corona Virus. Very clean and great hand washing stations. If you are worried about their protocols call the phone number on their website and they will detail all the precautions for you. We felt safe and were able to stay away from other people the whole time. Loved the staff and quality was fantastic. Highly recommend the honey. $15 for a huge bucket that was said to hold about 6lbs.

I wanted to show my daughter how oranges and citrus grows and have a chance to pick fruit right off the tree. However it's not orange picking season. Instead we were lucky to find a wonderful blueberry farm so close to our friends home in suburban Orlando. Grandma, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed blueberry picking, great family fun. We picked 2 buckets full!! A lot more than we planned to pick. It was so fun, we kept picking. Lots to freeze for muffins and smoothies!!

this is myself first time here..My sister in law told me about this place.. I usually go to the one in Oviedo but gave this one a chance cuz it is closer to home. We has lots of fun.. There are many varieties of blueberries here.. They are very good.. My children had a great time.. I think the season is coming to an end as there wasn't that many out there today or just that too many ppl have been picking them.. It took us over two hours to filled a bucket( not even full).. The weather was just too hot n the kids was complaining too much so we left..the price are good.. $15 for a bucket is really good.. They charged 3.50 a pound in Oviedo.. Next year I will go at the beginning of the season.. Will definitely be back:)

I had been wanting to pick blueberries since last season; but I missed out :-(......Buttttt this year I was able to go.....WHOOO WHOOO!!!! My son and I went. I was sooo excited because blueberries is one of my favorite fruits and it was my first time picking blueberries. It's located in Windermere. We arrived late morning on a Saturday; the day before Mother's Day. We weren't able to park on the property because it was full; so we had to park across the street and walk from there, which wasn't a bad exercise. I thought because we parked across the street that it would be slim pickings. However, to my surprise, there's plenty to go around. There are soooo many rows and plenty room for everyone. My son and I had such a nice time. It was very relaxing and the perfect day to pick blueberries. We were told the key to it, is when you arrive go all the way to the end where no one has really picked and go for it. My son and I ended up picking two bucket fulls of delicious, juicy, sweet, plump blueberries. The people that worked there on that Saturday were great! I can't wait to go back. If you haven't been, try it. Thanks Beck Brothers! See you next season! By the way, its cash only; so go with cash in hand. It was $15 per bucket. I thought that was a good price considering when you go to the grocery store you only get a small amount for $5 - $6 depending where you shop. They bag them up for you there. So when I got home I put them in zip loc bags and in the freezer and they will keep for 6 months.

    My bucket!

I could have filled my bucket up more (you can fill it up as much as you can) and it still would have been $15.

What an amazing little gem of a place. It's the kind of roadside attraction reminiscent of old Florida, but that history hasn't managed to forget. Thank goodness! This is a great attraction for the whole family. Lots of animals, play areas for the kids, and a ride around the farm in a monster truck/bus to view old citrus groves and search for Bigfoot. For me, the best part was the opportunity to interact with Lemurs and Capybaras. This was the best part of visit! Don't pay those absurd prices for those 'Capybara Cafes' popping up where $100 get you coffee in a room with them. Here, for a fraction of the cost, you get up close contact and interaction. The animal interactions fill up quickly, so get there early.

We also took a ride on the monster truck, which was a little disappointing as it was just a ride around the farm and we thought it was very pricey. I would say that this outing is geared mostly towards younger children. There is also a gift shop with fruit wines, honey candies, cookies, and a myriad of different things to purchase. I would definitely go back again, but maybe on a cooler day.

They offer several types of u-pick fruits, veggies and sunflowers at different times of the year. They have a fun zone area and food trucks. The only thing I don't see on this farm are animals. I love that they allow the 5K races at least once a year. With those races, you usually get blueberry pancakes and a pint container to pick your own blueberries from at least 6 fields. There were 2 available to pick from when we were there. Plump and sweet blueberries are to be had if you know how to pick them. Don't let the bees scare you off. Leave them alone and you will be fine, unless someone in the next aisle pissed them off. They have peaches, sunflowers and strawberries to pick as well. I noticed the map also shows veggies but not sure when or which kind are available but nice to know. I love the observation deck above the gift shop. Amazing views of the farm and surrounding land with plenty of seating to take it all in while you enjoy a cup of coffee from the gift shop. I hope they can hang on to this land once the developments continue closing in on this rare property.
