I've lived in Kissimmee for two years now and I've driven past this past multiple times and never stepped foot inside. I decided this summer today was the day I'd finally step inside and see what it was all about. I was pretty underwhelmed when I went inside. I wasn't expecting greatness, but I was expecting more orange-related foods and objects. It felt like 60% to 70% of the store was filled with knock off Disney paraphernalia. I figured it'd be a tourist trap and it definitely is. I checked it off my to-do list and browsed the place but I didn't find anything worthy to purchase.

Countless times I have driven back and forth on US-192 and passed by this big orange sphere. My curiosity got the better of me today, so I pulled into to the parking lot to see what was inside. I initially thought Orange World was a fruit market because of the citrus stands outside; however, once inside, I realized it was also a gift shop. There was a large selection of citrus-themed souvenirs, Disney-themed souvenirs, key chains, mugs, plush toys, and so much more. I was informed by a gentleman who works there that the fresh citrus (navel oranges, tangerines, honeybells, and grapefruits) can be sold individually or in a bag at a reasonable price. Citrus fruit samples are available for tasting. There are also citrus trees available for sale as well. I was really amazed by the sweetness of the honeybell orange, which I learned was a cross between a tangerine and a white grapefruit. I ended up purchasing one of them and a tangerine. That was a very unique experience. Will definitely come back and visit again.

I had driven by this place for years and decided to finally go inside. It's definitely very touristy inside, however, they have a orange stand at the front that has a variety to choose from. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of oranges. If the worker is there they have samples that you can try. One of them is a cross between grapefruit and tangerine and it is incredible. I'm not even a big fan of grapefruit so I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. They also have yellow watermelon which I had never had before. We ended up buying a few of the oranges and also some astronaut ice cream. If you have friends visiting town or you're having a tourist day, I would definitely recommend you check this place out.

Didn't realize it initially, but there's a huge gift store inside this building. It's really worth stopping in to check it out. They sell oranges right in front of the main entrance and prices are pretty high.

If you visit a tourist town, and you don't visit a so-called tourist trap, are you really a tourist? I went this last weekend with a friend to Kissimmee to see a concert. On the way to the concert venue, our Uber driver pointed out this spot, which is ostensibly the biggest Orange in Florida. So this combination gift shop/ museum definitely looks "large". The staff we met were really friendly and told us about the goodies inside. As its name and architecture implies, they do sell different varieties of oranges both as in fresh fruit as well as gummies, jams / preserves and bbq sauces for seasoning. They also sell various fridge magnets and plushies. Besides the fridge magnets I took for friends home, I also bought a small jar of tangerine marmalade (really sweet, I like!) as well as their orange based bbq sauce I've started to use to marinate my lunch.

Great store for gifts to bring back such as magnets, mugs or key chains. Alot of toys as well.

This is such an icon in the area and even I live few miles away I had never gone inside! I finally did and it is exactly as expected: everything orange! I got a little bouncing ball for my dog that's an orange with the word Florida. Many gadgets but also real oranges and juice

We had to stop by while visiting because of the cute orange dome that stood out! We were greeted with a friendly gentleman at the front and you can smell the wonderful aroma of the fresh oranges at the entrance of the store. Perfect tourist spot. Upon entering the store there are souvenirs everywhere that catches your eye. I gravitated towards all these you can make with oranges You have salsa, bbq sauce, marmalade, dressing, candy, and more! I picked up some sauces and can't wait to try it. Perfect place to pickup gifts on your way out.

It is impossible to miss this gigantic half-orange in Kissimmee as you're making your way to your theme park destination. A tourist attraction that screams "FLORIDA!" loud and clear for miles. Allegedly "the world's largest orange," it is 60 feet tall. Oranges, oranges and more oranges. You can buy them here and take them with you, or they can ship oranges to your friends and family. Orange juice. Orange gum. Orange candy. Orange post cards. Orange bushes. Orange perfume. And because it's Florida, they have gator stuff too including gator jerky snacks. Unfortunately, they had some sort of interior damage and so you can only visit the outside at the moment. But it's absolutely worth a stop for something orange to remember your time in Kissimmee. My mom and dad used to bring me here when I was a kid 45 years ago. My mom used to buy an orange blossom perfume that ironically they still make. Guess what she got for her birthday? A blast from the past. I was disappointed during this visit to find they had a fire that closed the inside of the shop. They are currently in the process of redoing the electrical and hope to open sometime this year. They have a small selection of offerings from the retail store and citrus that can be purchased out front. Maybe it brings back, fond memories from my childhood, but this place still rocks!

Great place to shop when on a juice fast!…read more I decided to come here after learning that my monthly spending at Publix was way too high, especially since I was buying mostly produce for juicing. A weeks worth of fruits and veggies for juicing came out to less than $20.00. That is 1/4 of the bill that I was racking up at publix once a week. They also had Items that are usually hard to find in other stores. The bakery after the check-out is hard to resist, especially when on a juice fast.

They were selling green bell peppers for forty-nine cents a pound, which is a great deal. However, these peppers looked a bit old and were at the end of their life expectancy. They also had a meat market, but I did not get over to check it out as I was working that day and had a full day ahead of me and there was no way the meat products would survive in my car that long. They do also have a few aisles of grocery items and I was very happy to find that they carried the Puerto Rican hot sauce called Mi Madre Pique, which I discovered on a business trip to Puerto Rico and have since been a huge fan. I picked up a few bottles, one for myself and one for my son. Each bottle was a bit over five dollars, which is I guess a competitive price and a cheaper option than flying to Puerto Rico to pick up a few more bottles. It is very conveniently located, being basically on the corner of John Young Parkway and Vine Street. It is not a bad place to check out and has great prices, but as I have mentioned before, you do get what you are paying for. I guess three stars is a fair rating. Good prices, but the produce should be more fresh. By all means, go check it out. Just don't get carried away and buy something just because it was cheap just to throw it out in a day or two because it rotted.

There was a nice variety of vendors selling crafts, fresh foods, baked goods, and more, along with live music that gave the market a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We considered buying a loaf of bread but decided to pass this time. My son ordered a coconut drink served inside a pineapple, which was a fun experience. The ironic part is that he's mildly allergic to pineapple, so he only drank the coconut water while my husband happily ate the pineapple itself! It gave us a laugh, and I reminded my son that next time it's perfectly okay to ask if the drink can be served another way or to mention his allergy before ordering. Overall, this is a charming little market that fits the character of the town. It's a great place to wander, browse, listen to music, and enjoy the local atmosphere. I don't know how many times I would need to go here but it was a fun stop for us. It was very sunny out so make sure you wear a hat or take a walk by the water where there are trees and benches.
