This is actually 1 of my fave Walmarts, especially b/c it's located near Disney World. They have a HUGE selection of Disney merch, w/ pretty much everything you could think of featuring Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse,& other Disney favorites. It's a fun place to browse if you're looking for Disney-themed items w/o having to go directly into the parks or paying Disney World prices. I was just a little bummed that the prices have gone up(still cheaper than Disney World)I mean, what hasn't these days? I haven't been to this location in quite some time, but I was in the area and needed a few things so I stopped to give them a try. It was much as I remember that and the set up is quite a bit different from the locations. I shop more frequently. They have a lot of everything like most Walmarts, but my interest was primarily in the food area. I had several items on my shopping list and was only able to find a couple of them in the store in stock. I did end up picking up some items that weren't on my list as well. Unlike so many of the Walmarts I shop this one does not have any self checkouts unless you are a Wal-Mart+ member. They had a lot of registers open, which made check out faster. The only person I interacted within the store was at the checkout and the guy while a little unusual was very friendly and complimented the shirt that I was wearing. For me, it's kind of frustrating that in order to find the items that I buy I have to shop at multiple Walmart locations. I came here since I'm on a tight budget. I needed to pick up some grocery essentials. I had never been to this Walmart before. There is a huge parking lot that was packed. I had to park pretty far, but I didn't mind the walk. The store is huge and has pretty much everything you need. The selection was pretty good and the prices were resonable. I only had a few interactions with the employees that work here. I spoke to the Walmart greeter at one of the entrances. He was very plesant and friendly. There are some homeless folks hanging around the parking lot throughout the day and night, but there is Walmart security patrolling the parking lot both day and night. Scammers work here, I got charged for two items I didn't have. Is was clear the scammers(cashiers that work there) planned his at the register. When it was time to receive my receipt she show it to the cashier behind her before she relieved her for a break. Then she gave me the receipt. Thank goodness I checked the receipt in my car before I went all the way to my residence. I was charged for a Spider-Man birthday cake 14.96 or so and a 8pk of Prime drinks $12 when I just bought one bottle. I took this to the management and I got a refund on my debit card in 3 days smh. Glad I'm not badly needing it now. The inconvenience and hassle was just not worth it. Please check for receipts because your cashier might over charge to put money in their pocket. Beware the manager at this location is a scammer. So I had to leave my car in the Walmart parking lot for less than 10 hours. I come back my car is towed. I speak to the manager and she tells me the towing company number by heart and even wrote a false business name (Mogul towing) with an address on a paper. When I ask her why I was towed when Walmart allows 24hr parking she stated that in the parking lot there is a sign that says no parking or you will be towed. She lied and I also drove around and I have never seen Walmart with that sign EVER! I call the tow truck (fake) company and they claim that the payment is $175 CASH ONLY and that they were called at 2 am. There was a car three spots over that I was parked by and when I ask them why they didn't get that car their response was the manager called them and only told them four specific cars. This Walmart close at 11 pm so why is a manager calling after working hours to get the car towed? I live in the Tampa area so they took advantage of that and scam my family and me. The police did nothing and when I confronted the manager she stated that I had to take it to the city. Not everyone parks overnight at Walmart but at this location please beware if you do. The manager is in on this scam with this fake tow truck company. She didn't even take us into the office to pay and no paperwork or receipt just her clipboard outside. I left to get something to eat... came back when the tow guy was almost there and the car was gone! MF's waist no time to taking advantage of people! I only wish I could do no stars. My wife is disabled and requires a scooter to shop. We have been to this location 3 FREAKING TIMES and none of the scooter's work. A shame that big money couldn't give a shit about disabled people. I will not shop at this Walmart or any other. We frequent this Walmart and call it our home not because it is the closest to where we love because honestly there is one closer. But because of the customer service and because we aren't surrounded by every tourist in the central Florida region. They have a good selection of what we need and we can usually get through the store with little to no hassles. They also have a tire and lube center with a very friendly staff and a very nice waiting area. For those looking for Florida souvenir they have a fair selection. As a handicap person it's very inconvenient to shop at this store. Only 2 mobile carts available for the entire store. St -Pete's Walmart has 20 what's wrong with this? Excuses like the customers take them out to there cars and leave them outside is ridiculous! All customers leave there carriages outside you have people bringing them in why not the electric carts? Please even Publix sends their employees out to get the carts! I never have to wait over an hour to get a cart there! There's always one available at Target as well! After 20 years of shopping here, seeing change after change, the remodels, the registers going to self checkout, then back, then back and back again..I'm done. Checking out here is a chore in itself. I would much rather scan and bag my own groceries rather than have somebody else do it and have my raw veggies bagged with my meat..cross contamination at its finest. With dozens of self checkouts (all closed) why cant you have a couple open and a couple of registers open so people have a choice? Why does it have to be all or nothing? I had 26 items and came home with 14 bags of groceries..that is insane. I could have bagged what i had in 4 bags. Sabrina who is a Coach at this location which is store 00817 was very rude and had a disgusting attitude. She was unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. She had an attitude with me from the start on an issue that Walmart MESSED UP ON. I'm not sure why Walmart a multi billion dollar company would have an associate that claims she is a manager and in charge of a group of employees with no customer service that Coach tag needs to be removed. She needs to be retrained and re-educated on how to deal with customers and tone/attitude to use them because obviously she has forgetting that. I'm so disgusted in the way I was treated over an issue that was their fault. I'm pretty sure Walmart doesn't even know how customers are being treated at that store but if we say nothing then nothing happens. I was informed that she would be getting a coaching however, I want to make sure that her behavior/attitude seriously gets addressed not just pacified and shoved under the rug. SAVE ON SOUVENIRS I highly recommend you hit this place for Disney souvenirs. You could spend hundreds in the park or get a bag full of stuff here for only $25. Let's be honest an Elsa or Olaf shirt looks great on any child no matter where you bought it. The best part about shopping here is I don't have to "LET GO" of my wallet. Children grow up so fast that shopping here makes sense for an item that is important while visiting the theme parks. The variety of Disney items at this store is huge. The front section of the store is totally dedicated to everything Disney. There is clothes for the whole family. No one is left out when it comes to accessorizing with the Mouse. They also have travel mugs, coffee cups, luggage tags, headbands, stuffed animals and figures. If its been in a Disney movie over the last 50 years then there is a great chance you can buy it here for near nothing. The rest of the store is the typical Walmart. I didn't go anywhere else in the store except the bathroom which had warning signs everywhere about prosecuting shop lifters. Apparently that must be a huge problem here at this store. The sign was also a little comical. You can check it out for yourself because I posted a photo of it. Enjoy! This place was packed for a Monday but I'm assuming everyone was on vacation. It is one of the cheapest places to stock up on everything from food to sunscreen. If you find yourself in the area then I recommend you visit here for your Disney stuff. This Wal-Mart has been here at least since I've been to FL in 1999. I went through last night to pick up a few items for my kitty cat and the place was looking like it was getting made over! It was so nice to see because I kind of refer to it as the ghetto store. Usually this isn't a place I like to go to after dark because the stores aren't well-stocked and it's hard to find someone to assist you if you need it. Well, Last night, I was able to find everything quick and easy. I noticed there were many people stocking shelves and the place was hopping! I'm excited to see the changes because there were several areas of blank space that looked like a new display was getting ready to be set up. When I checked out, I was pleased to see many lanes open and I was out within 5 minutes! It was great. I know that I'm a little more inclined to shop at this particular store because I want to rather than out of convenience. read more

We shop here every week. Prices are good and usually two or more choices on an item. The store is clean. The bathrooms are clean. They do not have a good amount of Gluten-free products, as does Target. The employees are not particularly friendly and it irritates me when two or more stand in the aisle with a rack blocking it. There are 4 employees who have been friendly, Dorothy, a greeter, Ann and Romeo, checkers and a stocker, young man, but I don't know his name, just that he is usually in the south east area. Not really a fan of Wal-Mart. This one is located in very touristy Kissimmee area, so just be ready for that. I personally park and check out at the garden center registers just to avoid the commotion. Makes life so much easier. It helps if you speak Spanish here. . . I do not, and when asking for help, quickly realized I was on my own.
