Grocery delivery service is very sad. My groceries were delivered to the wrong address. I spent a lot of time searching around, trying to find my order because they are known for leaving groceries at the bottom floor scattered near the doorway, but this time it was delivered to the wrong building. I called management and her excuse was that it was a third-party that delivered it which isn't my problem so I will never order groceries to be delivered, but will now travel to Holly Springs because their Walmart is spectacular. read more

They wait hours after you get confirmation & tell you it's no longer available but good news, your 15 lb. bag of dry cat food will be delivered shortly ! After going through this 4 out of 5 orders I switched my store to Holly Springs & now my items come when they say they will & I don't have to go out for items I need. The Walmart in FV gets a bad rap overall, I think it works. I also want to give their garden center a big shout out this year. Let me preface this, I am a basic/low maintenance gardener. I generally grab flowers from Home Depot every spring for a few of my planters but Walmart Garden Center in Fuquay had a healthier selection of what I was looking for this season. I usually don't complain but this one is. I had a delivery 12.9.24. One of the purchases was the Walmart Spray cleaner with bleach. It was delivered in a bag separate from other items. When I reached in the spray was wet. I rinsed my hand immediately and it is now sore. I connected to chat and the only option was to take it to store or ups. It would have cost more in gas to go there and home. I called the and someone answered; as I started talking she hung up. I called again, no answer. I DON'T blame the people that work there nor the delivery person. It may have been dry when was removed from shelf. Where do I start, curbside is always 45 min wait no matter if it's packed or empty they don't come out EVER. and when they do they don't know who you are so whats the point of check in. The manager of the Fuquay Varina store must be aware that shelves and freezers/refrigerator are always.....always....missing many....many items.....doesn't matter what day of the week it is. Don't know if it's a lack of staff to fill the shelves.....problems in the ordering system or issues with the supply chain.....but it can be infuriating to go to the Fuquay store only to find item after item "out if stock". It's almost seems as if the store is preparing to go out of business....again....shelf after shelf with missing items. Do not order your groceries online at this location. I placed my grocery order on Saturday for Monday. I received the notification that there would be a 2 hour delay and then I receive the notification that the groceries are ready and I get here and ALL the pickup spots are full and I waited an hour for my groceries to come out. I drive over thirty minutes away just to go to a different Walmart. This is not only the worst Walmart I have ever been in, it's the worst store of any kind that I have ever shopped. You have to check your own groceries or wait in a line that is way too long. This is not such a problem if you only have a few things but if you have a large order, that's another matter. The shelves are never stocked, you can barely get through the aisles because employees are blocking the aisles with their huge carts shopping for customer pick-up orders. Poor Customer Service I went to the photo center to pick up photo's I had developed and got the worst customer service I have ever received at Walmart. The young man assisted the woman that was there when I arrived. He rang up her purchase and did all that he was supposed to do for her but when I asked about my photos he gave them to me and asked did I want a bag but I said no. He then walked away from the counter and never returned. After waiting for about 10 minutes I realized he wasn't coming back and ended up going to self check out to pay for my photos. Worst Walmart ever they'll never answer the phone or they'll say u need to speak with someone else then "transfer you" to that person but that person won't even be the person they said they were transferring u to then that cycle will keep going I was transferred about 20 times before I actually was able to speak to customer service. Customer service desk is rude too they'll have conversations with each other and laugh right in front of u while ur waiting in line to be helped. Absolutely horrible service. The staff here is on autopilot and ignores customers. I stood in front of a game case for 10 minutes with the "I need help" look on my face as employees walked by me. I went into the automotive department as was served by two of the most incompetent people I ever. The front check out folks seem lobotomized; it's not that they are unfriendly, it's that they seem beaten down and miserable. I have seen shift managers who scowl at customers, employees, well everyone actually. I understand that Wal Mart is here to stay but I'd like to see a district manager walk in some Sunday and see what I see on almost every trip there - fire some people and start over. I purchased tires here end of August (14). One tire was defective and the belt broke after only 5k miles. I took it back today and Dennis from Walmart automotive services took care of my car and checked the tires for damage... turns out he found one that was defective and they replaced it no questions asked. They also informed me that my rims were starting to bend. On the way here, I was debating ever shopping any automotive or expensive item ever again. No longer. As long as Walmart stands behind their items; then I don't have a problem buying from them. Now, it could have been worse... I think I lucked out getting Dennis... I don't think some of the other auto employees were thinking about good customer service, I overheard them mentioning I should have been charged for the labor (FOR A DEFECTIVE PRODUCT?????!!!!! - ummm. no.) My review is for the Vision Center in this Walmart. I brought my son's eyeglasses (that i bought elsewhere) in to have a screw replaced, and during the process a piece of the frame cracked (it was already bent from my son stepping on it)... The doctor insisted on giving me a new frame at no charge and even spent the time trimming the old lenses to fit the new frame. Excellent customer service!! I really have a problem with the Pharmacy in Fuquay Varina, NC, the problem I have is Walmart sends me a text asking if I would like the following prescriptions refilled I reply ALL like the text states to reply. The text then replies back that the prescriptions will be ready at 2 PM the next day, so I will go in the next day after 2 PM and guess what they are not ready and a lot of times not even started. I am then asked to wait 5 - 10 minutes and the prescriptions will be ready I have actually waited over 30 minutes and left the store empty handed, so then I thought I would wait 2 days instead of going in the next day after 2 PM that should give them time to get the prescriptions filled nope still not even started. I asked the cashier and showed him the text that Walmart sent me saying that the prescription would be ready on Saturday at 2 PM and it is now Sunday at noon and the prescriptions are still not ready why is that, he told me that there is a visual filled and a actually filled is how they see it at the pharmacy and my prescriptions were visually filled? Okay so I asked him how is the customer suppose to know that because the text is telling us that it will be ready the next day after 2 PM so how is the customer suppose to know visually and actually filled, so in fact they are not ready or even filled because of there strange way of doing things. Also the whole time I was asking the cashier these question the pharmacist was shaking his head behind the counter like I was wrong for asking these questions, long story but I do not like this pharmacy and I am actively in the process of changing pharmacy, reason being is the pharmacist is cocky and rude and the chance of having your prescription ready is zero and your wait time is always over 30 minutes when it should be ready. This post is strictly for the bakery department. I ordered 24 cupcakes (Mario Bros) for my sons class for his birthday on Saturday to be picked up on Tuesday. I get a call Monday morning telling me that they do not have any Mario Brothers. They ask what else I would like. Spongebob? No. Well what do you have? Bubble guppies, thomas and planes. Ok lets go with Thomas. Get there Tuesday afternoon at 4 just like they said. One lady in Bakery. I stand there 10 minutes staring at her. I know you can see me! My son points out the tons of Mario Brothers cup cakes and the spongebob cupcakes in the cooler. I buy both of those sets and leave. They can have their Thomas cupcakes! I went to the store today. I picked up a few items, paid for them then grabbed a bite of lunch at Subway inside the store. On my way out of the store I was hasseled for my receipt. When the employee saw it he dropped my groceries all over the ground and broke my bag. I attempted to pick them up while the employee went to get another bag. I attempted to pick them on my own. The employee handed me my bag and made me pick them up myself. That bag also partially broke and I also had to pick them up. I don't see why this store treats customers so rudely. read more

I arrive @ your Fuquay, NC store 8:30am and garden center is chained up. I am trying to swap out my propane tank, so I go inside to customer service and the lady behind the counter says someone will be right out. I immediately pay for the tank and head back outside. I wait another 15 minutes and no one shows up.....................the associate retrieving carts even radioed out to have someone meet me. After waiting another 5 minutes I head back inside and I'm met by your customer service supervisor who was more upset about me walking around with an empty propane tank inside the store than helping me. She chastised me for bringing the tank inside and I told her if she had someone outside 20 minutes ago this would not be an issue..................fine example by the way of leadership ! 10 minutes later FINALLY someone shows up with a key, 1st thing out of his mouth, "how you doing sir" as though nothing had happened. I told him not to engage me and just get the tank...................... In all of this mess the only person that seemed to care about what was going on was the associate retrieving carts, I'd put him in charge and fire the rest of the useless management types. read more

The worst walmart I have ever been to!!! I have also boycotted this Walmart! There is never anything on the shelves, shopping carts are all over the parking lot, and never in the store. There are also never any check out lines open except for the 20 items or less and the line to those are always backed up. It is like pulling teeth to get any type of customer service. I have asked for assistance from an employee walking by me and have been told by them that they were on break. Customer service is non existent in this store. Went to the Walmart web site and found a speaker I was interested in. The web said the Fuquay-Varina had them in stock. I drove down and could not find them in the speaker case. There were 3 "associates" playing on a computer. I went to the area and they would not even look up. I asked if any of them worked in the electronics dept. A lady said she was the manager. I asked about the speaker I was interested in. She said they do not carry it. I asked if this is the FV store. She said yes and then I showed her the printout. She said it was wrong. I then asked to see a different speaker in the case. She said she doesn't have a key to open it. I asked if the manager would have one. She said she was the manager. I then asked her "what if I wanted to by the most expensive speaker in the case, how would I buy it if you can't open it? All I got was a shrug of the shoulders. Unbelievable.
