Looking for something that unfortunately they don't stock in the store but if I wanted to buy it on Walmart.com, they can have it here in two or three days. Bummer! The store itself is mostly good condition. The men's room wasn't dirty but the paper towels situation with the dispenser open was unfortunate. As Walmart's go this one needs a lot of work! It looks as if a riot occurred and nobody bothered to clean up. The store is constantly in disarray and the shelves are rarely squared away. Out of date products are all over, from dairy to gluten free. Went to Walmart Glenn School Road, Durham, NC. I went to the pharmacy to inquire about yearly flu shot. There was a pig in front of the counter. The pig was on a leash and was urinating on the floor. The pig was also squealing very loudly and was pulling on the leash. I did not know if the pig would get loose or not. Finally the pig and its owner went away from the area. I made my way up to the counter and was greeted by a very rude and verbal employee. (I will not give a name) I greeted her with " I am finally glad the pig left". She then proceeded stating very loudly that she did not want to hear my judgement about the pig and its owner. She kept on and on. I finally informed her that I did not want her to assist me and I requested someone else. I have never experienced any problem with the pharmacy before and she was not a regular. To be honest, the pharmacy was the only reason that I go to that Walmart because I interact with a couple of the ladies that are very nice. I did speak with an associate manager and she referred me to corporate. I did call and file a complaint and will wait a few days to see what will happen. I will not let this go. I was upset way too much to do so. I don't even know if I will ever go back. Walmart does not need to allow pigs into the store or allow abusive employees to work at the store. This Walmart doesn't give the same customer service as the other stores in Morrisville or Briar Creek, poor selection of everything, shelves are partly bare most of the time, poorly staffed, never enough people working the registers, big problem with theft that almost everyting is locked up so when you need something it takes a long time for someone to come unlock it, there's never anyone working the dressing room and when they call for someone to come it takes forever but all this is because of demographics this Walmart is called the "hood" Walmart because it's cosidered to be in the "hood" read more

This review is based on 3 experiences with Walmart's Returns Dept, in late September through early October 2022. My review is: don't ever try to return anything to this Walmart after 4pm, because if you do there's a high risk that the department will be CLOSED. Yes, big box store, parking lot where you take your life in your hands to park, but there's no way to return anything. 100% of my attempts to return something after 4 pm were unsuccessful, because nobody who was supposed to work in Returns had shown up to work, that shift. If you have to return anything, show up in the morning. You'll get help then. read more

I love a southern Walmart. I live in dc so this was a treat. I came for some snacks before I got on the road and I was not let down. I was able to grab what I needed and be out of the store in 15 minutes. My greatest pleasure was the assortment of liquid flavor enhancers they had! This location sucks. Worst one I've been to in the Triangle. It's in a weirdly remote area and the store itself looks unkempt. Yes, it is a very big walmart with a variety of options, but it's a mess. Each aisle I went down was about half filled and half empty. There is a lot of restocking that needs to be done. There are no shopping baskets, only massive carts that are very hard to maneuver through aisles. Aside from the cash registers, didn't see one employee in the 30 minutes I was there. I even felt like the patrons were hostile. It just gave me bad vibes all around. I would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to the Walmart in Brier Creek that I trust. read more

This Walmart is by far the worst Walmart I've ever been in in my retiree life!! There must be a bunch of frigging thieves around because there's so much merchandise on lock down it's not even funny!! The bad part is - there's boxes with buttons you're supposed to push for assistance. Now, I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to push 20+ times in 30 minutes!! My husband went and found a girl who worked there and asked her for assistance. 5 minutes later she returns and says she can't find the woman with the key... are you fricking kidding me?! So here I go pushing the buttons again and again and again!!! After about 45 minutes the person with the key finally shows up... she's rude and I'm pissed. I said I don't know how many times someone is supposed to push the button before someone does their job. Now I get people these days would rather steal than work for what they need/want and places have to protect their inventory - but if you're going to lock it down with key access only - make sure there's an employee that responds to the fricken button being pushed! Just picking up a few groceries at this location. Before checking out I went over to the meat aisle looking for chicken wings! There were 2 packs of Sanderson Farms wing drummettes left on the entire shelf. I picked up one of the packs and discovered that there was a black hair inside of the pack laying on one of the wings! I was shocked of what I saw! I decided to not buy this because this is just disgusting! I just knew that one of their employees had to have seen the hair before placing it on the shelf for people to buy it! I'm so disappointed and I'm not ever buying any more meats (anything) from this location! And not to mention the extra long lines at this location too is ridiculous! read more

So, I feel like Wal-Mart is a weird thing to yelp, but I feel like I have to because they are so awesome. I consistently do grocery pick up here, at least once a week. They are THE BEST! I went to the Walmart in Morrisville once and literally waited two and a half hours (it was a whole thing, they wouldn't let me cancel my order to literally just get the stuff myself, customer service gave me lots of money coupon codes). I then realized how much I failed to appreciate how awesome the staff and grocery pick up is. I have never waited more than ten minutes, but usually I'm there less than five (the only time around ten is when I get held up at work and show up after my scheduled time). The staff is always super sweet, I sometimes reject the substitutions and they are always very helpful with that process. One time, they accidentally forgot one of my bags and called me before I even left the parking lot and gave me my bag plus a little goodie bag for the mistake. The staff is so genuinely helpful and nice and don't act annoyed like I've experienced at some of the other grocery pick ups. Even around the holidays (thanksgiving and now getting closer to Christmas) they are very efficient and helpful. I will forever go to this Walmart for pick up, they're the best! read more

She and her colleague were leaning across the counter holding a full conversation with no customers in line. It's as if we inconvenienced her while on the clock. Low stock, messy store. The lines are constantly long here, and the parking lot is consistently full. I came in to get one item, toilet paper. When I walked in, there were three lines open in addition to the self checkout lanes. By the time I returned to the front of the store (because toilet paper is all the way at the back of the store), self checkout was blocked off and there was only one line open, and the line was already six people long, with a cashier that was taking her time. Needless to say after standing in line for twenty minutes with only two people having been checked out, I politely walked to the lead in customer service and asked her if I could leave my toilet tissue with her. Now where do I start with this Wal-Mart.... Only when the store first opens will you find what you want and/or need (Sometimes). They have trouble keeping things stocked. When the store is at its busiest and lines are at their longest, all cashier will try and avoid doing what they are paid to do. All except the 3 brave people who would like to keep their jobs. Inventory is hit or miss. Lots of breakfast meats out of stock, including sausage. Didn't have an air mattress on the shelf. No one came outside to get me a propane tank. After 15 minutes, I spoke to customer service. She made a store wide announcement for someone to help me. Waited another ten minutes. No one came out. At that point I just asked for a refund. Customer service person was genuinely annoyed with the lack of staff response to my request. She said she'd look into it further. I witnessed 2 department managers being rude to customers and seemingly tease them because they did not speak English well. The store is untidy all the time. Horrible customer service at pick up!!! Waited about 40 min and ended up leaving and just canceled my order. The lady working came to my car after 15 minutes of waiting and said I don't have your order with me I'll get it in a sec. As I was waiting, 2 more cars pull up. Finally over 15 minutes later, she comes with another employee and they both attended to the 2 cars that came after me. I told her are you kidding me? She's like ma'am I'm by myself here and can only attend to one car at a time. Please be patient. Um. 1. You weren't by yourself because clearly there was another employee attending to another car and 2. Why are you attending to someone that came after me??? She said it again to please be patient, and the customer she was attending to in the car rudely said just let her do her job. I called this Walmart 3 times in the time I was waiting and no one would pick up, not the pickup option or even just to speak to an associate. After leaving I was still on the phone just letting it ring, then someone from pick up finally called asking if I still wanted my order and apologized on the employees behalf. I told her no I don't and I hope you let that employee know what horrible customer service skills she has. My mom and I went here to get a few things that we needed for the weekend. Of course it is late at night with a lot of associates stocking shelves most of them horsing around and not really doing anything. We get to the front to check out and we both are in shock. No self check out, only 3 lanes open and about 100 people all trying check out. I asked an associate were a manager was and of course there wasn't one to be found. I was also told that of all of those associates in the store only the three running the registers could check people out. Why in the world do they have 20 registers and only have 3 people running them? That was the worst experience at a Walmart I have ever had and I had been going to this one for years. I will NEVER go to the Walmart again at night. I hope that many others do to. They need new management desperately. There are commercials at the holidays of how they are so helpful to get you out. Went to Walmart on Glenn Rd to pick-up my site to store order on Dec 12. The Customer service area was a mess. I waited 20 mins in line only to find out that they were only able to locate 5 out of the 6 items on my list. After 1 hr and 15 mins and 5 different associates trying to locate the item, i decided to leave the store. An associate suggested that I look for the item on the floor. Though I did and didn't find it, I should not have had to be inconvenienced like that. Another took my info and said that she would call back but, I haven't received a call. only because i cant give a lower rating. so im in the ONLY regular checkout line with a cart full and there is some kind of problem where the cashier has to ring everything up again. there are 2 families ahead of me with full carts. an employee from the deli comes over to put out her goodies so i ask her if she could call a manager. she said she would have to walk all the way over to customer service which is about 25 yds. she asked what the problem was so i told her there was a problem up front and could someone open another register. she said you can go to self checkout. i told her im not doing their job for them too. normally when i have a lot less items i use self checkout because this store NEVER has enough registers open and its much faster than the express lane. today i wasnt feeling it. i thought this walmart was trying to do better but its not. its not kept stocked like it should be. items thrown on the shelf in wrong places. handicap scooters either broken or dead batteries if you can find one. i have given this store chance after chance after chance. i will now go somewhere else miles out of my way before i step foot back in this walmart. i have been to walmart all across the U.S. and Canada and i can say this is by far the worst. read more

I'm going to start out by saying that I do not ever complain about stores. I don't complain about poor service, or nasty employees. I worked in a conglomerate of various retail chains, and restaurants as a teenager (including this very store), and I VIVIDLY recall how terrible the working conditions can be, and how stressful the jobs. However, I have created this account with the sole purpose being that I absolutely had to share my experience with this particular Wal-mart. I'd venture to say that this is the worst Walmart I have ever been to. I was on my way home from work tonight, and decided to go a little out of my way to pick up a necessity at this particular store. I immediately needed help finding the product, because it was not shelved in a logical location, thankfully, there was a staff member close by, and so I asked. I don't think I've EVER been spoken to so rudely by any employee, in any business I've ever been in. She was very brusque, and acted as if I was putting her out of her way by asking a simple question. Having had worked in THIS VERY store as a teenager, I'm aware that WALMART's policy is that whether you're 1st shift or 2nd, whether you work on the sales floor or in the back, you are ALWAYS supposed to be polite and helpful to the customer. Customer Service is supposed to be every employee's first and foremost concern; I mean, WALMART's chain boasts this more than any other retail chain, right? Finally, after being shouted at and then managing to find the product on my own any way, I went to check out, only to find out that of the TWO lanes they had open, neither cash register was working. So I, along with 15 or so other faithful customers waited patiently. And waited some more. One or two members of management seemed to be standing around looking clueless, and finally they manged to open one of the lanes. Meanwhile, I guess 2nd shift had decided to come to the front and purchase some items before the registers were emptied and closed for the night. Maybe 6 or 7 of them altogether. Standing directly behind me and the other patiently waiting customers. Listening to their very loud conversation that was, I will say again, directly behind me, I overheard cursing, derogatory racial terms, and even that one of the employees was unconcerned with how much he made on his pay-check, because he had "Some loud I'm finna drop". I mean, really? Really? I put down my purchase, and walked out. And I would sooner chew off my own tongue, and dissect it, while hemorrhaging than return to this poor excuse for a Walmart. I will be extremely surprised if this store is still open 3 years from now, and if you're interested in a similar experience, I would highly recommend you visit it around closing time, as I am positive that these poor, pants-sagging excuses for Walmart Associates, let alone human beings, will think nothing of saying similar things in front of you too. read more
