Came here to get some Tums and something to drink and I was able to somewhat successfully complete that mission. I couldn't find the Tums that I like in a small size so I got another kind that came in a smaller container. I used self checkout so didn't have to interact with any humans. I understand that practices at the store particularly around locking things up are unfortunately because people steal but makes shopping take so much longer waiting on someone to unlock a case and then put it in a lockable container for something like deodorant. Purchased Walmart + for scan and go but now they have no one staffed at self checkout. So now you have to push a button for help and hope someone comes to help. I really don't think pushing the button alerts anyone it just gives the customer the illusion someone has been alerted. Most times I have to flag someone down. Then it takes them 5?mind to type in username and password into the scanner. Can we just have 1 person staffed if your charging customers for this service? read more

They turned off the self checkout lanes but are just standing around chatting. They see lines forming but don't open the other checkouts unless they see a fellow coworker trying to buy something. Another Walmart with an incredibly weak video game lineup. It's actually surprising how small this one is considering how titanic games are as a whole, let alone giving the Nintendo section such an abysmal space to shop in. 1.5 sections of just games, and they're not even filled with anything. I don't expect much from a Walmart auto center... I only go for oil changes. But today was by far the worst experience I've had. My car didn't get started until 45mins after check in time. I have to agree, this Walmart is under extremely poor management and maintenance. Many workers speak no English so finding help is difficult. Basic items are locked up due to theft. Shelves and aisles need to improved cleanliness and organization. This entire area has become unsafe with an influx of homeless. Its not safe to be out after dark, even the day is questionable. It's sad because it used to be a nice area years ago. They meed to come together as a community to put pride back into the area. No one has any pride to do a good job. I came to exchange something and make another small pirchase at the same time. This store is appauling. Everything is locked up. The lady in customer service was lovely. I did my exchange and picked up my 2 other small things. This store apparently has Chapstick locked up? So that was fun. I took my items back to customer service, finished the exchange and paid for my 2 items. I put my 3 whole items in my bag with the receipt. On my way out the man up front now wants to look IN the bag? To check my receipt? This is only mandatory in 5 states-aside from that it's a voluntary interaction. I wasnt carrying anything. It was all in the bag. And I am not a theif. I will NEVER patron this location again. This has got to be the most ghetto Wal-Mart I have been to. The Worst Walmart I have Ever Shopped, and I've visited LOTS of stores: Heidi is the General Manager. Spoke with her but after further encounters with employees, it may be better to just bulldoze the place down. Entered the store and was curtly redirected to enter by some Brosnan hired security guy who pointed at me, pointed at the door, and walked off! I told him using a loud, salty tone and vocabulary how much I liked his customer service, then spoke to Heidi before visiting Thomas in photos. He managed to break away from his task of cutting photos for a moment to find my picture. I asked him and another associate where the frames were. Thomas replies, "I don't know, in houseware?" Maybe a good idea to know where photo frames are if you're in the photo department! Idiot! Another associate assisting Thomas by watching him cut photos looked up the location on the app with his phone, and gave me the incorrect isle. Finally found them myself AND NOTHING IN STOCK! This Walmart Supercenter is located on Smith Road, 1-2 miles east of Colorado Blvd and before you reach I-70. In fact I think i cross over Monaco and Quebec to reach it. There is a large parking lot with a ton of "overflow". I've been a patron the last year or two because it's a straight shot up Colorado Blvd, easy to get to and get back. Let's start with I hope things are getting better here. There were a ton of homeless people and broken cars camped out all over the area, including the parking lot. I have been approached by many, which makes me worrisome. My last visit, the road to it looked cleaned up from previous times. I actually saw a Denver PD officer this visit and a secured vehicle. It made me feel safer to see them there. I know many stolen cars have been found abandoned nearby too. I won't get into that, but Colorado is leading the nation in auto thefts. I typically purchase on the app and request curbside pickup. I've never experienced every item I've requested fulfilled on an order. There is always something out of stock on one of my orders. However, the app is user friendly and the Walmart staff are quick and friendly. It's easy to check in. Denver has a plastic bag fee now. Actually I believe ot is all of Colorado as of January 1st 2023. I've been bringing my own reusable bags for years/decades. I keep them in my vehicle. They are also machine washable. Its easy to "return" an item through the app. I ALWAYS choose "no substitutions" when I shop. I know what I want and the quantity of the items. I learned this on December when a Walmart worker gave me a substitution which I said "no", so I had it returned. I didn't take it back in the store. He told me he couldn't take it. Thet refunded me the money though. It seems wasteful. My last visit yesterday (2/26) I was helped by a lady named Mari. She actually took my bags and filled them. Usually the workers hand them to me. She also knew to put frozen together and softer/perishable together. I was impressed! Next time, I'm tipping her! I also left a review of her through Walmart. Best times for shopping are Tuesday through Thursday DURING THE DAY to get "most" items. Besides not having everything, my other dislike is that typically the order is fulfilled the next day. You have to pick the hour window in the app. I work a lot and that makes it hard to schedule around at times. In comparison, Target fulfills in 2 hours, same day! Walmart is typically cheaper though by .02-.10 per item and has more product than Target. I will say it to myself "you get what you pay for." It all adds up though. There are things only Walmart seems to carry and there are things only Target seems to carry. I end up going to both. I'm hoping they get better about their credit card authorizations. I've seen it take 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS to drop off or batch. Inexcusable. I am frustrated as a consumer that any merchant is quick to authorize but not quick to fix/adjust. My last experience was different, it adjusted today. Usually it takes to Wednesday or Thursday. I don't have deep pockets yet! Overall good experience. read more

This is for the Auto care center. I wish I could leave 0 stars but it's truly ridiculous how long it takes them to get tasks done. I've done either an oil change or get a couple new tires replaced a few times here now. I was here last month to get an oil change and with one person in front of me. Took 3 hours to get done. In here again a few weeks ago to get 2 tires unmounted and mounted with the new tires I brought in.I made sure I was the first in line and arrived right at 7am. I didn't leave until 930am. I'm not the type to be rude while someone has my car so I didn't say anything at the moment but while looking into the shop through their waiting room window, you can see 3 employees just laughing, texting and drinking Dutch bros. From a customer view point you would make probably way more money if you put a little pep in your step and got cars in and out. Almost 3 hours to change 2 tires is just absolutely ridiculous. Since they closed the neighborhood location on East Colfax and Havana St., I had to go to this location. RIDICULOUS! Everything in the cosmetic section is locked up, and yet there are 4 employees following you around this small area. Hair care products, locked up. Make-up, locked up. Nail polish, locked up. What the F****! Went to buy groceries and couldn't find anything because they have crammed everything into this small area. When you do find something you need, locked up! The employees roll their eyes and ugh at you. Check out has to be done by a person and yet you bag your own groceries, in the bag you brought! Then, like you could have slipped something into your grocery car, your receipt is checked at the door! I needed to take a sedative to calm down because of this trip to the grocery store. I will not be going to this location, and/or any other location. If I need something, I will order on line to avoid any interaction or further stress from dealing with trying to buy groceries and household items. read more

This review is specifically for the car service. NOT THE SHOPPING CENTER! The car service here is A1. The crew all seems to work very well together and they do good work. They are not half assing their work and they are doing a great-honest job for the customers. The girl that works here in specific has taken great care of my car a few times now and she is great. She deserves a raise which is why I'm writing this review. Walmart, hook her up. She really is putting on for the company here and we really appreciate this crew doing as good as a job as they do. Of course I checked in through the app and I even called. I finally went into the store where they tell me that for pick up left at 8. I wish I could give negative stars. This walmart sucks. The people who work here are always rude with few exceptions. Yesterday was the last straw: I'm a legally blind, disabled vet who relies on groceries delivered because ride shares are expensive. Many times I have asked for my deliveries to be substituted. I can't just go to the store and get what they don't send. They just don't substitute, they just cancel. Many times I've spent my last bit of money and was depending upon them. Then it takes 5 days to get the refund so I can get things I need. They've done this repeatedly. Way to love Veterans aye? I was sick in bed yesterday with a broken washing machine that I can't afford to fix anytime soon. Just came to get four box fans to help dry some paint, figured they'd be the cheapest here, decently priced at $18.00 a piece..but of course theres no price tag on them, have to hunt someone down to scan it for ya. No longer have the scanner devices on pole, Walmart wants you to down load their app, give your email, make a user name and passcode so you can scan you own items on the app. Wandered around a bit, sheets under lock and key, twine for the garden located among an aisle full of lightbulbs at the very bottom, was completely out of place. Perfume, batteries also locked up. ¢50 for a moldy corn, had to take the husks of 6 to find one good one, gave up. Friend saw a window A/C unit on sale for $148, it rang up $178 he had to take a long walk to a picture , holding us the long line and prove the price, but then you have to walk over to aisle 11 to have the security tag taken off, that was a 10 mins wait. I had the worst experience at Walmart auto care at 7800 SMITH RD, Denver CO 80207 A few months ago, I had an oil change there. Upon returning for my next oil change they tell me that the oil drain bolt was damaged by whoever did the last oil change. I remind them that they did my oil changes. After they figure out who did it (who was previously fired for bad work), they tell me to buy the bolt somewhere then they'd reimburse me and install it. But they offered no proof of this conversation. Of course I ask but they say that they go on memory. They don't write on my computer account or put such things on paper. Just trust them. I argue for 30mins with serviceman Austin and manager Paul (I think) of the possible problems but they insist. Said that he (Austin) also managers Paul and Richard would remember. Months later I return and of course no one remembers. We discuss for 20mins, then they agree to it. They take my car, and they say they'll text me when done. I walk away for almost 2 hours, and come back to no one knowing where my car is. Then, having no record of it being checked in even thought they texted me to say the work has started. Then, after 2 hours of waiting I come back. They say they didn't change the oil because they couldn't take off the bolt. But for 2 hours they never contacted me to tell me. Then, they ask me to go to another mechanic to have the bolt remove, and say they'll reimburse me. They then take 40mins to get approval. I ask again for something in writing. They say no. I say at least tell what needs to be done, and I can record it with my phone to tell the next mechanic. Service person Austin says that he doesn't want his voice recorded. . After 15-20mins of arguing he agrees to write something instructions down on paper. After several shops say they can't remove bolt without doing an oil change I find one shop who said they'd add some oil so I can drive it back to Walmart or take the bolt half off. I make an appt. Then as I am in their shop, I call Walmart. They say that they can't do it that day. So, I had to make another appt at the other shop that is going to remove the bolt. After the 3rd day of this, I get the bolt loosened (not to lose the oil), so I can make it back to Walmart with oil. Then back to Walmart for more memory loss conversation. But then Austin asked for a higher manager (sorry, I forgot her name) to step in. After explaining the whole thing to her, she said that she'd reimburse me. I then got the oil change and my money. But this was a complete headache and waste of 3 days of my time. My time waiting while no work was done, my time searching and going to several repair shops to find someone to do the work. My time making appointments with Walmart. My time arguing with them when they simply refuse to document their words. This was the worst experience thanks to the inexcusable efforts of Austin, and managers Paul and Richard. Also, service person Lisa was quite rude to me while trying to step into conversations that she knew little details about to make excuses for Walmart. I'm surely done with Walmart Auto Care. Ordered a canvas photo, the app said same day pick up was available for this location. When I arrived, the employee handed me picture rolled up in a bag. I don't like being a karen so with a smile I told him as nicely as I could that I ordered an actual canvas, not just a single print. He looked at me like I was crazy and started whispering to another employee and they both kept acting like I was a Karen for not walking off with something I didn't order. 30 minutes later they went on break and a new employee showed up and told me that they have no one available that is trained to make a canvas. Then I went to the manager's desk to explain what was going on, just to be greeted by a sarcastic manager around my age (21). Supposedly i'm a Karen for not walking away with half of what I paid for. I have Myoclonic Epilepsy. A type of seizure that is triggered by sudden bursts of bright light. I entered the establishment in hopes of finding a rare vibrating (non-LED) silicon dildo, accompanied by my beloved Little Angels Service trained service raccoon named Mohammed. A few minutes into my search an employee (who's name I believe was Alzah Auklebar) confronted me with much hostility. He didn't believe Mohammed was a service animal and immediately began stabbing him with the antenna of his service radio. My best friend of 32 years, gone in an instant. I couldn't believe it. But I'm sure that's the way Mohammed would've wanted to go out. Anyways. I continued my expedition and to my surprise, found a wild pack of Mexican children! "You're going home with me!" I scream as I stuff as many of them as I can into a large burlap sack. I make my escape toward the exit in the garden center but was stopped by a BEHEMOTH of a midget equipped with two red LED item scanners. I sling a bag of Wonder Soil™ premium organic potting soil mix toward his beefy midget head. He jumps from inventory rack to inventory rack. Something you would see in the Matrix movies! He slit the back of both of my knees open, ultimately severing my popliteal tendons causing me to plummet to the ground. I drop the bag of Mexican children. They flee for their lives. The midget uses his item scanners to rapidly burn my retinas and trigger my epilepsy. I seized for a solid four and a half minutes before fading into oblivion. I woke up just thirteen minutes ago in the dumpster behind the store with my lifeless raccoon Mohammed. They didn't have the dildo I wanted. 1/5 Stars. read more
