so I just found out for myself if you ever see a video where walmart is scamming you on the prices it just happened to me. The whole display said five dollars. When I scanned it it was 999 and when I wanted to buy a couple of them they would only sell me one at the five dollar price and the display is almost empty so all those people that bought it don't even know that they were scammed and no one even ran to fix it either read more

Attention Walmart Management: selective receipt checks are not customer service. I shop at this Walmart regularly because it is close to me, not because the experience is pleasant. Most of the greeters at the door are polite, but one employee consistently acts as if he has the authority to target certain customers while ignoring others. He reminds me of one of the Minions, but with less intelligence and permanently seated and located right at the front door. On my most recent visit, after I completed my purchase at self-checkout, where every item is scanned and the entire area is heavily monitored by cameras and staff, this employee watched multiple white shoppers and other customers with full carts walk straight out without being stopped. Then he chose to single me out and ask for my receipt. That did not feel random. It felt selective, discriminatory, and intentional. If Walmart is going to rely on self-checkout, surveillance, scanners, and employees hovering over customers while they ring up their items, then selectively stopping certain people at the door only adds humiliation to the experience. It sends a very clear message about who is viewed as "suspicious." I called the store immediately afterward and spoke to a manager named (COACH whoever), but the response was dismissive and gave me no confidence that this behavior would be addressed. That was just as disappointing as the incident itself. No customer should feel racially profiled, targeted, or harassed after paying for their items. Walmart needs to do better training its employees and managers, because selective enforcement and discriminatory treatment are unacceptable. No wonder they have only 2 stars! read more

I shopped here a lot this year for soda and energy drinks and snacks as usual. My friend looks for ground lamb in the meat section but they never have any. I get kettle cooked chips for $2.50 a bag here a good deal and they had the witch's brew alani niu energy drinks last time I came in which was great :) ! Overall a well stocked store! read more

Walmart is big and sells almost about everything you need. Clothes? They have that. Shoes? Check. Food? Of course. Cash checking services? Yes, they cash work checks here so you won't have to wait for your bank to clear the check. They do charge a small fee for check cashing services. I came on a mission in mid-August 2019 to find a cheap iPhone charger. Mine needed replacing because the wire is falling off. Walmart to the rescue! I found an iPhone charger for $6.89 after sales tax so that is a cheap price. I'll mostly likely be back here to buy a mouse for my laptop. Service at this location was quick and efficient. I checked out at the electronics department and it was not busy there at all. I love wasting my entire lunch break trying to purchase one single item from a locked cosmetics cabinet. I love walking around the store asking employees "do you have the key?" and everyone says no. Especially when they tell me the person who can get the key doesn't come in until 2 pm. I love how much sense that makes. I love to walk back up to the front of the store and approach the customer service counter in hopes of understanding how it's possible that they're selling products that no one can buy because no one can open the glass cabinets. I visited here few times while in Cleveland area and I have to say, this is probably the worst Walmart I've been too. The moment you walk in, it's disorganized and the store feels dirty. I get it, it has a lot of foot traffic and yeah, things will get messy and I'm sure they don't have enough staff to keep this spotless. I've been having mega problems with my Boost cellphone service. After giving them a couple (3?) months to get their s#@ together, I decided it was time to change. I didn't want to go to a cell phone store again because last time I walked into a cell phone store it was boost on Lorrain avenue and I feel I got suckered. I went there for help many times and the guy acted like he didn't care. So I walked into Walmart one day and I saw these cell phones for sale. The technician from OSL was very friendly. Dee what's her name. She explained everything to me and answered every question I had. She didn't pressure me into buying anything but she did show me the best value, how I can get more bang for my buck. They offer a couple of different carriers. Verizon and T-Mobile or the Walmart plan. Those are the only ones I talked about I don't know if they offer more plans. After going home and thinking about it for a few days, I bought a phone for my wife and myself. It was really easy to do and fast too! Faster than the cell phone store. The Dee lady is a real professional! I'm very happy with my cell phone. And I'm very happy with the service provided by Dee from OSL. read more

Abandon all hope ye who enter. I really hate to pile on another persons review calling this place "the butthole of all Wal Marts" but it truly is. "But Craig.....they remodeled this here particular Wal Mart". Why yes, yes they did Billy Joe Jim Bob....but you can put lipstick on a pig and it's still a pig. The parking lot is usually a disaster. I've been to other countries and I would prefer driving in a Hummer through the streets of Afghanistan to this mess. The store seems it TRIES to stay clean but there aisles are normally a mess. Ever go into Home Depot & people just know their shit & exactly what aisle? Well for that here...you are lucky to get much of anything. After 10pm....this place shuts down. I don't mean the store....I mean they close one entrance and shut down all registers expect maybe one or two. I was forced into this hellish nightmare around 11pm one night after a drink or five and had an arm full of groceries. All self checkouts shut off and ONE register open. About 15-20 in a line stretched to the jewelry department. That's right...I said Wal Marts jewelry department. I calmly looked at the line and thought about the precious time we have on this planet and dropped my stuff where I stood. I continue to shop at Walmart Supercenter on Brookpark Rd because their prices are relatively low. I get the bulk of my groceries from this store. The meat counter is pretty good and they have a decent selection of meats for decent prices. The produce section, despite its recent rearrangement, is still lacking. Walmart has the worst produce of any grocery store I've been to. It's just not as fresh and the quality is lower than traditional grocery stores in the area, especially green beans. I have never gotten decent green beans here for some reason. The strawberries always go bad quickly, but I guess that is true anywhere. Produce doesn't fit Walmart's model of put items on the shelf and let consumers buy them. Produce requires tender loving care constantly from store staff, but it doesn't receive it at Walmart. The rest of the grocery items are good. I enjoy getting meats with yellow discount stickers on them. Meat is fairly cheap. I buy steaks, roasts, pork chops, pork ribs, marinated pork loins, ground turkey, and Italian sausage. Sometimes I buy a tube of ground beef to make my own hamburgers, and for the price, you can't beat it. The meat tastes good, I season it myself, and the burgers come out terrific on the grill. I really like where the Great Value brand is going. They copy popular products from various companies, offering similar taste and quality, but at a lower price point. Some of my favorite Great Value products are low sodium potato chips and tortilla chips. They taste every bit as good as Lays or Ruffles and you can get kettle cooked, rippled, or regular potato chips. The diversification and multitude of options that Great Value is now offering is terrific. That's smart business by Walmart. The cash register lines can get long at times, but Walmart has gotten better about getting the word out to employees and temporarily opening more cash registers during peak hours. I get my prescriptions here and other items for my house and yard. I really enjoy the convenience of them being open 24 hours. Also, it's a one-stop-shop, so I can get almost anything I need, like the most recent release of World of Warcraft, a jump rope, or jicama. I will continue shopping here. read more

One of the worst stores next to Steelyard. Staff talks to each other with out any concern for customers. I felt I was interrupting their social hour rather than being a customer needing help. I attempted to get a price match on a product that was available on line. The store was 5 dollars more and I showed the assistant manager the price difference. She insisted it was out of stock and would not offer me the difference. The problem is it was not out of stock on line, I showed her I was able to order it and also have it sent to other stores but she refused to change her mind. I specifically drove to Walmart because it was on sale. She did not honor the price match. According to corporate, if a salary employee makes a decision they will not change it, regardless of the facts. I have made a decision to no longer shop at Walmart. Last time I was here, I waited 30 minutes in the checkout line, and it wasn't because they didn't have lanes open--they had a lot of lanes open. They all just must move incredibly slow there, because the people in the lanes next to me waited as long as me/longer. While waiting in the line there was a woman/customer talking really loudly on the phone about a friend's sex life, using pretty vulgar language, next to her son...so this place is pretty much garbage across the board. read more

Went for a simple oil change a couple of days before needing to go out of town for business. They left me waiting forever, then stripped the thing that holds the oil in, making my car completely undriveable. They compounded this by lying and saying that it happened the last time I got my oil changed. This is impossible because I would have had oil leaking all along. I had to pay for a tow truck to get me to my regular place, because the "professionals" at Walmart couldn't fix the part they broke. It ended up costing me a lot of time and stress over the next two days. Just absolutely ridiculous! read more

I was at this Walmart this morning. I needed a item out of the LOCKED CABINET in the feminine hygiene area. I asked a girl she told me to push the button. I did and waited for a few minutes when another girl appeared and said I'll get her for you. A few minutes later a grey haired woman who used to looked over the receipts at the exit, came over and said what do you want ? I said the cabinet opened, not sure exactly which item I wanted. She repeated what item, I touched the glass and said I guess this one. I guess no one is allowed to look at ingredients or labels. She let me take it out and then said she had to take it. I said do I pay for it now ? I was fine with that, No she has to take it to check out 9. For what? NO ABSOLUTELY NOT, I don't want my item sitting anywhere but in my cart plus I don't know who's touching it or did someone else put it back. No, I said I don't want it then. And I walked away. Walmart if this is your policy at least have the sense to know these items are feminine products that the public doesn't want some goon manhandling and parading through your store. A little slice of hell on earth. Walmarts in general are hellish, especially when located in questionable neighborhoods. But this particular location put an ad out for only the laziest, worst people ever and hired them all. Here are just a few reasons not to shop at this location: 1) Even attempting to enter this place is hell. There's construction and oh--try getting past the minivans going .5 mph and see how long before you smash your own face into the steering wheel--on purpose. 2) The same "traffic flow" is waiting for you inside. People move slower than molasses apparently because they have nothing else to do but linger around Walmart for 3 hours straight with their 8, screaming children. Awesome. 3) You can't find anything OR anyone to help you. No one will ask you if you need help, although if you're female you'll most certainly get heckled and hit on by their male employees--so there's that. I didn't get, "May I help you find something?" Instead I got, "Damn girl. You sexy like Taylor Swiffffff...." Thank you, gentlemen. That's exactly the help I was looking for from the staff. 4) When I finally found a female employee who *might* be able to help me, she had no idea what was in stock. She had to walk all the way into the back (which took her 15 minutes) to look and tell me they did NOT have what their website SAID was in stock. You know how sometimes you can say,"this store location is the worst", not with Wal Mart, they are all the worst! I hate checking in when I go here as much as I hate going to this store. I then feel obligated to write a review on this horrible establishment. It is always crowded beyond belief with less than notable characters and if there is a store that is in the middle of nowhere anywhere you go, it is probably not a good establishment. I travel for work and sometimes am in the boonies, nothing around, can't find a good place to eat for miles, or a gas station. Worst Walmart I have ever been to. It is convenient that it's open 24 hours but heaven forbid you ever have to go there after 10:00pm because the shift they bring in around that time is extremely rude and they look at you like you're ignorant for coming to Wal-Mart when they have to stock the shelves. Some of them wont even move for you when you want to go down an aisle they are stocking. There may be around 10-20 cash registers, but I have yet to see over 5 cashiers attending them at any time of the day. Even during the busy hours. This Walmart also apparently never got any kind shipment of mens winter clothes this year according to the employee I spoke to a couple of weeks ago. Wal-Mart does a good job of having necessities and this location is better staffed than Steelyard Commons. Attempted to get a MoneyGram order adjusted I sent at the Steelyard Walmart. Was advised it had to be done at the store it was sent from. So i drove to the Brookpark (Brooklyn) location and waited patiently in the line at the Money Center only to be informed I had to go to Customer Service because the terminal was down at Money Center. Standing in huge line with insufficient attendants at Customer Service. One would think the proper thing to do would have been to escort me and the lady behind me (who also had a MoneyGram order) to Customer Service and expedite our attendance. O read more

I come back in about an hour 20 minutes because there was 3 other cars before me. I come up to get my car and they forgot to put it in rotation of the other vehicles so I had to wait 3 hours with no discount or even an sorry. Does not even deserve 1 star, I wish I could give it zero. I came to the store the evening on 11/20 around 10pm. The parking lot was full of garbage and carts scattered about everywhere. I walked up to the store and found several employees smoking just outside the entrance doors. I then entered the store, although I passed several employees none asked if i needed assistance. I finally approached a young Hispanic girl probably in her young 20's and asked her if she could help me find a fuse. Clearly she did not want to help me as she flat out ignored me and started a conversation with another customer she must have known. Not to be ignored I stepped between the 2 of them and insisted she help me. Sadly all she would do is say "I dont know" over and over again. I tried to look for her name but she had her hair over her name-tag. Wal-mart needs to fire this employee. As I left the store about a half dozen employees were hanging out doing nothing between the two sliding doors. What an awful experience. Anyway after about 15 minutes I found where the product should be but it was sold out. I ended up driving to the Strongsville Wal-Mart and i was immediately treated like a valued customer. I was walked back to where my product was and was helped with a smile. However my family doesn't "celebrate" anything so it's just a normal Tuesday for us. The staff at this location was so unwelcoming, unwanting and uncaring. Every person I spoke to was not in the mood to hear from me, didn't wanna direct me. I finally decided it was just time to go because if I walk in somewhere in a perfect mood and wanna walk out angry, it's not my place. We always go through self check out, no matter how many items we've had, it's never been an issue. We start towards that area, to be stopped by Emoke? She was an older, nasty woman who let us who we weren't allowed to come in that area. We had "too much stuff.". Which has never ever been an issue. We go into a line, where the cashier more than obviously doesn't want to be there. (Which is why we were attempting to just scan our own stuff and leave). I go to Walmart for the prices. Im not going to sugar coat this. This place is a pile of dogcrap. You can never find anyone to help. If you are so lucky to find someone, they either don't speak english or could care less. I had ordered a set of string lights for my backyard and was to pick them up in store. I ordered them at 8am and by 7pm they had still not been ready for pickup. I called the store to see if they had maybe forgot to send out the email, a woman answered who seemed like the call was a bother and put me on hold. I sat on hold for 20min. I had enough time to drive to the home depot across the street, get my items and check out before I hung up with no one answering. I called the 1800 number and cancelled my order. The next day, a customer service person called and said "hey your lights are here and ready if you still want them" them hung up. Yea, no thanks. Later that week, I had no choice but to go to this 7th circle of hell to get an item bc I was in a bit of a hurry. I walked over just to see if maybe they had the lights I had previously ordered on the shelf since the site said they had them in stock. I had to hunt like a cheetah to find someone to help. He walked over, looked for two seconds and said "we be out" I asked ok, then why would the website say you have them in stock? his reply "the website be wrong sometimes" and walked away. Those by the way were the actual quotes. I went in one other time to buy a prepaid phone since my sprint phone was being repaired. I needed a phone due to my occupation and I'm in charge of 13 drivers and 6 warehouse workers. i picked out a phone and asking the associate if I needed a phone card since it was a contract phone. In her broken english she said ok, yes. I spent $50 on the phone and card. I got to the parking lot to activate it and didn't even need the card!!! Seriously, if you're going to put someone in a department, make sure they can speak somewhat good english and know what they are selling.
