It's a treasure trove of history, style, and impeccable craftsmanship. As an SIU student 20yrs ago I was here every month shopping. I was ecstatic to see it was still in business on a recent trip to Carbondale in 2024. I spent two hours shopping & trying on, and am totally over the moon with my purchases, thrilled to have added such rare and beautiful items to my wardrobe. There are so many affordable 60s-70s-80s vintage pieces still in surprisingly great condition store-wide. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in town from LA.

I love this store and I've introduced many friends here. Wow.. what a great bunch of employees. From the moment i walked in to the moment I left, I was…read moresurrounded by professional, smiling employees. Upon entering, all employees were wearing masks correctly. (Sadly something I'm finding I have to point out). There is hand sanitizer at the door and an employee disinfecting carts ... ALL WITH A SMILE. The store seemed well stocked. I was on a mission for a particular garbage disposal genie, and couldn't find one. I asked an employee in the back who was stocking. She over to where they would be. Unfortunately they did not have what I was looking for, but we had a short conversation and she was so sweet. I perused the rest of the store and was happy to see that they had arrows in the aisles to encourage a one way flow of customers. Clean floors and stocked shelves.
