It's Ollie's, a discount retail store that prides itself in a crazy assortment of stuff (some good, some junk) for really good prices.. and for that they do succeed. I'd rather come into one of these places and get amazing deals if it means they have to cut corners in other areas of running a retail store. I mean some discount retail places are so spic and span that the prices for their merchandise isn't much different than a big box retailer, and sometimes it'll even be MORE expensive. Not at Ollie's. Not only was she patient with me, but extremely kind and knowledgeable. She was honest and provided me with the information I needed to make great purchases, in my opinion. I was also provided with a great discount, which I definitely was not expecting. Due to the timing of my visit, there were some things that were out of stock, but what they had was plenty for me. Both adult and kid friendly fireworks! Jamie suggested going there around April to get the full experience. I am definitely going back! I don't do this often, but when I do, I'm going there. The store was so quiet it was uncomfortable, we weren't welcomed when we walked in, no one asked if we needed help, I felt like I was a bother. The store had a scent to it like it was a pet shop, that's kinda nasty. Besides that I was impressed with the amount of fireworks that were on display as well as the fair pricing for all of the fireworks. The best thing I can say is that there are a lot of cool fireworks and that you should stop in. There is a lot of parking, also considered I came in November which is a down time for the store, again price is fair. I called Dad to have him call in the prescription then it would be the first stop when we hit town. The pharmacist and staff were very kind and helpful. They worked with my insurance to make sure it was covered -- all with a smile and no sense of being put out. Small town pharmacies are great ... I wish we had this type of service in Los Angeles.
