I've gone there just to buy 2-3 items that aren't in another stores and, what a pity, this Walmart's sold out of all of them. Other people's reviews surprised me. Upper Sevier Terrace is still a pretty "nice" neighborhood, though I suppose the interstate intersection may attract a different element. I have never felt intimidated by the crowd outside this store. And it's not surprising that a Walmart is wheelchair-accessible, but it's surprising that others in the area could be considered less so. Local Walmarts generally have earned a certain reputation and should be careful about training cashiers to chatter while scanning purchases, because Walmart is perceived as the home of the chatter-cheats. If they must hire motormouths, they should train them to read prices aloud and NOT get into conversations. Personally I like stores with quiet employees.

For Hobby Lobby in Johnson, City, TN - Be careful on what you get from the weekly ad. I got to the check out and they said it was full price because the tag said "candle" not "lantern". What constitutes a "candle"? It has no wick, no wax, and it was metal. Looked like a lantern to me. The checkout girl said they had to go by the tag. This was extremely deceiving, poor business practices, and was not the first time that I have experienced this. I will not be going to Hobby Lobby ever again. Michaels just got my business for good.
