As I unloaded my purchases I realized one of the items had been quite used, but was back on the shelf. I pointed it out and asked her to please have another associate bring me an unused one. She then started the return process. I said hey--I want it, I just want one that is not used. Her reply was that yes, she would have to return the damaged one to sell me a new one. When the manager came over and I shared how I found that to be quite wasteful in my time to go through this process it took THREE TRIES for her to understand this was all being purchased for the first time right then and there and I only wanted an unused one. Egad. Selection was good, but store looked like a group of toddlers had been allowed to run wild.
