I was excited about this Walmart being right next to a Pilot because I just walked to it so thwas a bonus. The inside of the store is pretty well stocked and clean. My biggest issue was that I needed ones and the team lead acted like she could not do it I had to empty out about 4 self checkouts. Which she had to refill with ones anyway why make things difficult I was completing a transaction anyway by unloading my card but I just wanted ones to put in my kids Easter eggs. read more

Breaux Bridge Walmart is clean, organized with very helpful local folks working there. When I am in town this is where I get most family supplies. It is a big store as most wal-marts are but if you have any trouble finding anything ask one of the workers and they will walk with you and help you find what you are looking for. They are always stocked with the latest seasonal stuff with really cheap prices. Even though this is a big box store, it feels like a small local place because the employees are all from here and just make the visit pleasant!! Very disappointed with this specific Walmart. I'm currently traveling and am driving a truck pulling a toy hauler with a height of 13'3". This is not an unusual height for most RVs. I needed to get a few items for my stay and I found this Walmart on Yelp, right off the interstate which was perfect! I get to the entrance and there is a huge barrier that is 12'6" tall with a sign "No Trucks Allowed". The parking lot was not a small one and there was plenty of room for RVs. Every entrance had the same barrier and sign. Only place to enter was where the delivery trucks go but by this time I didn't want to give money to this store. I'll stop at a Walmart that does accept RVs. Thanks for delaying my arrival time to my destination, Breaux Bridge Walmart. :-( read more

Honestly it is the worst Walmart I have ever seen. The shelves are never stocked most times you have to use something or ask someone tall to get the unstocked packages from the very top shelfs if your lucky and they actually leave over stock out. The staff are HORRIBLE!!! Always on their phones, I have almost been run into several times by them as they are looking down texting or they ignore you in self check out so they can show another coworker something much more important on their phone. Let's not forget you cant even walk in the store most days without passing a line of staff members smoking or cussing as they sit outside along the front of the building on their break. The only reason I go to Walmart is because it's close by and I can get just about anything I need but man do not get your photos done here I ordered some pictures online and I tried to fix it but it wouldn't let me and when I checked out it showed it was correct but when I went to go pick it up it was wrong I ordered a canvas and it's not right! I don't kid I want to return it or just keep it as is!! And there is nobody in the photo department to help you ! I will not ever get my photos developed here ever again !! Or use their website!! There's not much that you expect from Walmart. If it's clean, doesn't have opened packages scattered throughout, and there are not too many kids running amok in it, you feel pretty good about. They did sell Zapp's chips, which I'm excited to try. I like seeing the local flavors when I travel to different stores. This particular store was right next to my hotel, ABVI; super convenient. read more

Avoid the hair salon. Absolutely the worse haircut I've ever received. First off the young woman, Amber, didn't acknowledge I was there for 12 minutes. Granted she was helping a woman but products but a quick "I'll be with you in a minute" would have met protocol. Then I showed her a picture of the style and explained I was growing my hair out to a short bob. She chopped it in so many different lengths that it looks like a three year old did it. It's longer on one side and chopped up on the other. I was faced away from the mirror the entire time and when she was done she slicked it back. I didn't see all the mistakes until I was 100 miles past. So sad. read more

I like the hours and prices are so low I continue to return, but there are never enough registers open and a lot of times the self checkout is screwed up in some way. This Walmart is horrible on restocking things. Sometimes I think they just quit carrying something and then it'll pop back up. read more

On our way from Texas to Florida in an rv. Asked manager politely if we could stay until around 4am in their parking lot (from 8pm). The store closes at 10pm. Request denied. So guess what. We left their empty parking lot without doing our weekly grocery shop. I was also going to buy $100 instant pot because I forgot to bring mine. Their loss. We stayed with the managers blessing at Crackerbarrel in Baton Rouge and in return we ate dinner and shopped in their store. RVers take note. Avoid WALMART AT BREAUX BRIDGE, La. read more
