I have tried to give the Walmart in Beloit chances so many times but I completely give up. I rather take my business to the Janesville or Roscoe Walmart. The people that work there are just rude and you can tell they absolutely hate their job and they don't wanna be there. I try not to have to interact with any employees when I go. I'll go straight to self check out but when I needed to go to customer service to return something, even my youngest child noticed how rude the lady was. And when we left, my daughter asked me why I was even being so nice to her and I said just because someone is rude doesn't mean you have to be if that's not who you are. It would be one thing if I was one of those Karen customers and I was being rude, but I literally just handed her what I was returning. I tried to explain that why was returning, but she didn't even care why I was returning it. She cut me off and gave me dirty looks as if I did something to her... Online Pick up was scheduled 5-6 pm. I arrived after work at 5:30. I called to advise that I was here and gave the number of the bay. Shortly received a text that the groceries were ready. An hour later someone stopped by with a pad of paper to get my name and said your groceries are coming out. An hour and a half goes by at this point. I called the store to discuss with manager and stated I don't like to complain but my wife and I are both sick and she is at home. We didn't want to get others sick so we came to use this service. Normally I shop at Woodman's but gave it a shot. The manager stated that everyone was working over there and they'll get to you there is nothing I can do. I politely thanked Jenny for her time and excused myself from the call. I called my wife who was at home sick making arrangements for her father with terminal cancer. This was the worst customer service I have ever seen. Do not shop here. Shop at respected local grocers even if you have to pay more. At the time of this post I've crossed 2 hours. read more

Walmart is on the come up, y'all! There used to be a time when I wouldn't be caught dead in Walmart! Now, it's my go-to grocery store! Not only do they have fresh produce, hard-to-find fruits and veggies, organic options, gluten-free products, low prices, FREE online ordering and pickup for groceries and more (this was a blessing to me postpartum), and vegan-friendly options...now, they have cold pressed juice! I looked on the back, half-skeptical, but this is the real deal! 100% juice and the only ingredient listed is the fruit on the front label. Bravo, Walmart! You've come a long way, baby!!! Did I mention these were $1.98 each??? The only reason that this store gets 4-stars and not 5-stars is because the Roscoe location offers a tad bit more. For example, seeded watermelons, more gluten-free options, and more dairy-free ice cream options. read more

I'll give it a three because they have good sells but I've never been comfortable here. I'm not anti social but I'm not a talker so I use the self help scanners. They do not like that! They prob feel like there going to lose there job but it's a cycle with them. So if your one of those people that need time to adjust beware! The cashiers go psycho. Oh ya and someone stole my car there once and tried to break into my Honda. If your traveling through the people in this area people are crazy. I would not settle down or raise my kids in this area. I needed an item that was out of stock at all the Madison area Walmarts, but I was driving to Illinois for work, so I figured I would call all the locations along the way to see if they had it in stock. I called this location, the operator transferred me, and I was on hold for 30 minutes. Eventually hung up and tried again. Same thing. So, since I was driving by, I stopped in. As much as I would like to offer a review on the quality of their automotive service, I have yet to have a service done. I've been to Walmart's Automotive Department several times for various different reasons, and I've been turned away every time. They've talked me into going elsewhere everytime. I was driving around with a nail in my tire and needed a quick plug. Walmart's Automotive Center said they didn't have the time. A service center close by had me back and on my way in 5 minutes. Most recently, Walmart's Automotive Center told me there would be a two hour wait on an oil change. I told them I was fine with the wait, schedule me, and I would be back in an hour and 45 minutes. They said that would not work because they expected a high volume of other customers, and in order to get service, customers can't leave. I ask myself what difference would it make whether my car is parked outside their door vs allowing me to take care of other business without wasting my whole day sitting at their counter. This is pure stupidity and a huge inconvenience. Walmart charges for the disposal of tires, but they will only provide the service if they take the tires off, themselves. The tires were purchased from Walmart. Seriously, what difference does it make? I was asked to go somewhere else. I came in trying to purchase tires and a tire change. They had difficulty knocking the rims off the lug bolts. They told me I would have to go elsewhere. A local service down the street kicked them off with ease. I feel I can no longer help Walmart's Automotive Center help themselves. This is a business that turns business away with every excuse you can think of. Don't expect them to offer a solution and they will not be receptive to your solutions. They are lucky I am not giving them a separate review with a single star for every separate experience I've had. read more

I come to this Walmart about 3 times a week. It is painful. To start with, the store is relatively clean, that is the last good thing I will say. The price checkers don't work.....I know there is only one in the entire store that works ( next to the chips section ) Many, many, many items are expired or very close to expiration..... So be careful. We have actually found several items with fungus or mold....buyer beware. There are never enough registers open. Usually one or two and the self checkout 3/4 machines are broken. All that being said, I go here very frequently only because of proximity to my home. The variety of vegs is good and they always have lots of bananas and bread. The Etoh prices are the lowest in town but the selection is somewhat limited. read more

So a few months ago yeah I haven't forgotten they had an iPhone X for 100$ and I go to buy it coming all the way from Rockford wasting my gas just to wait at the electronics section for 8 hours of them ringing it up and it not popping up in the inventory after like seven employees tried and I asked if they could hold it they said no I asked if they had anybody who knew how to ring it up they said no I asked if there was anyone they had on call deck and ring this up for me because I really wanted to buy it they said no so I went home and the next day I called the Walmart and they said they just sold the phone 30 minutes after they opened what kind of shit is that I hope all the employees burn read more

We got 2 tires for the front of the car, and I went to change the brakes today, snapped my god damn lugwrench they had it on SO TIGHT. BROKE IT. I am LIVID. DO NOT USE THE AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE AT THIS STORE!! Long story short: We went in to replace 2 tires w/ the same as the other 2 I'd previously purchased at a different Walmart. 2 hours after arrival tech says tires are unavailable -- said the machine lied to him and they really aren't available. OK, so to late to go elsewhere and old tires are off -- go ahead and give me a mismatched set. Another 2 hours later, he comes over with a broken stem with lug nut attached. He over torqued it right off! Its now out of there hands, they don't repair lug stems. So put tires on and instructed me to take it in for repair, manager (Rob) said they would pay damages. I took it in for repair. Turns out they damaged the rotor also, pieces of it were stuffed back in the hole which was completely rounded out, garage said a sad attempt to try and hide the damage. $335.00 in repair cost, and I'm stuck with a mismatched set of tires to boot! Claims adjuster called next day, gave claim number, and asked me to follow up following day w/ some other info. Guess what? He doesn't answer. They don't answer. It's been 8 days in a row of calling, calling, and I get voicemail. They/he doesn't return the calls. Today I asked for supervisor: guess what...voicemail again. Sitting here now with my phone on speaker, have been on hold for 1hr5 minutes with their lousy insurance company...NO ONE IS PICKING UP. They seriously damaged my car, put our safety in danger, and wasted an entire day (5 hours we were in there!) and now continue wasting our time by not making good on the damage they did! I also followed up with the Walmart manager (Micky) today, as they/she is aware of everything that happened that day. She says there is nothing they can do, it's on the insurance company now. It seriously makes me ill to consider the fact they have the ability to put peoples safety at risk by employing an incompetent tech who did some serious damage to my car, but they don't have the ability or the desire to make it right? Filed a BBB complaint, and will continue to share my experience with anyone who will listen. Heed my warning, they obviously don't care about anything but getting your money. Shameful! read more

I'm giving this particular location a 2-star rating because they harassed me about a year ago when I was purchasing a frozen pizza and some beer for a wash down. I actually wasn't going to buy the beer until I saw a coupon on the pizza box advertising discount for some beer. At the checkout line, the cashier refused to sell me the beer even though I had a valid ID which proved I was over 21 years old! The reason? My 30 year-old friend (with grey hair no less) happens to be disabled and no longer holds a valid driver's license. The cashier asked to see his ID even though he was not buying anything and although he provided his ID proving his age, she refused to accept it because it was expired. Give me a break, Walmart! Do you really expect my disabled friend to renew a driver's license when he can't even drive anymore!?! read more

WOW! I have NOTHING positive to say about the automotive department at the Beloit, WI location. Incompetent employees, poor stock records, and a persistent attitude that reeks of "I'd like you to go away because I don't feel like being at work and want to go home". Sadly, the result of this is unsafe, sloppy practices that put people at risk of injury. If you do choose to go to this location for service, pay close attention to what is going on. The LONG wait times are the least of the problems. BEST ADVICE: choose any location OTHER THAN WALMART to have your tires replaced--even if it means a bit of extra inconvenience. read more

Clean but awful service and employees. We went to purchase an XBOX One, during third shift, and because the electronics employee was on break, we almost didn't get it. The CSM was at the register, and aware that we wanted one, but didn't move until I threw our stuff back in the cart and said we'd just go elsewhere. Another time, we waited over 45 minutes to find someone to help us in the athletic department only to find no one. That time, we did go elsewhere. Every time we go there, the employees are literally sitting down. One cashier was even reading a book! Electric carts are impossible to find (I've seen employees using them to put stuff on the shelves, before) or if you do they are never charged up. Even if the sales tax is higher, I suggest going to the Roscoe Walmart to save yourself the headache! read more

Cant shop here without feeling like a criminal after you do a return. Was followed by an employee after returning a broken controller and getting a new one. After calling and complaining to management about the experience, I got the cold shoulder we will talk with her response, but did not apologize for the instance. This walmart is totally RV unfriendly. We spend approximately a hundred dollars when we pull into a walmart and stay the night in our RV. We were told by this walmart that not only could we not spend the night, but while we were shopping we could get a ticket because we were parked in their lot. Their own trucks are not even allowed to park in their lot. I've heard of some ridiculous things in my life, but this is unbelievable. The good news is that 13 miles up the interstate at Janesville there is a great walmart and sam's club that are RV friendly. Please give them your business and forget about BELOIT. read more
