Prices are never correct....BRANDON the new manager wouldn't honor the price because it was in the wrong place after I showed him......he was rude and condescending when I asked him if them pricing something wrong was the customers fault....his reply was I'm the manager and I have the final say. read more

I raise a concern to corporate about the bathrooms of this store and about the employee smearing his poopie doodoos all over the toilets, many times. The tiles are coming up and there is very dirty water under them that splash when you walk on it. All the toilets spray everything that is in them out when they flush. Some of the toilets don't flush, some urinals don't flush. Nobody on the maintenance team other than me in the last year has cleaned the base or the inside of the toilet bowls, they like to change the trash, and give the lid of the toilet a good wipe down lmao. I asked for maintenance to be trained properly but I dont think they have ever done the job right. They use the same mops everyday that smell like sewer water, all the equipment is abused by the employees. As part of the maintenance team at this store, it's really sad when you can see a problem, report it, and corporate and management act like it's not there they dont even check into it they just brush probelms under the rug. They don't involve you in any concerns you raised. A few nights ago after sounding like a broken record I sent another concern message saying I am going to report them to OSHA and BBB and now they fire me. This job is not worth the pay especially when your the type of person to give his best work. I highly recommend a store and a district management change. Calling and reporting to corporate does not work, this corporation has a major problem with brushing stuff under the rug. I try not to shop often these days. I'm a nurse and work with COVID daily so I'm very aware of precautions. I was checking out today at the Bedford Va Walmart and as I placing my items on counter to check out the lady in front of me can of soup rolled into my items. I reached and pushed it back on her side. The Clerk said to me "customers don't like you touching their groceries". I said I know. Now here is a lady wearing the same gloves touching every single persons groceries after they have touched them. I felt that was absolutely nuts. Since she never changes her gloves she is doing more harm to everyone. I wasn't freaked out by it. I wore a mask and I wash my hands but she was VERY rude. Customer service in Walmart should improve. Day in day out we are dealing with this virus head on and don't treat people like this. Ignorance. read more

Our assessment of this Walmart has changed. We used to give them 5 stars, now down to three. Greeters are still friendly, any employee we have interacted with (except for a few) have been very helpful, and enjoyable to interact with. Pharmacy folks are still especially kind as are the workers in the Deli. Since we live nearby and are in the store often, we kind of feel like "family" and they treat us as such. However, more and more often the store is out of several of the products on our shopping list. Also, it seems as though if you like a product and buy it regularly, it gets discontinued. I tell shoppers there to not let Walmart know you like a particular product, because they will then discontinue it. Interesting that the shoppers I have mentioned this to actually say that this seems to be a true statement. read more

I go to Lynchburg frequently. I like to stop here on the way when I need to because it is cheaper, especially at the gas station. I can immediately find what I need here, I am completely satisfied as far as shopping. What I am not the most satisfied with is the customer service. To be fair, the people at the gas station are polite. The ladies at the cash registers in the front are polite. However, today I stopped in to buy earplugs in the gun department. I had planned to use some spare change and charge the rest to my debit card. I had planned on giving the cashier a dollar in change, but when I mistakenly gave him 75 cents, he rudely said to me, "This isn't a dollar. Where did you learn to count?" This man needs a lesson or two in manners and customer service. I will shop for other things here, but I will plan on staying away from the gun section. read more

The worst experience ever at this Walmart. i would not tell anyone to shop here. Yesterday I went grocery shopping and once I was done I preceded to the self check out. First of all I don't like the idea of self check out!!!! what are we paying the high prices for. I started checking out and had items that would not ring up correctly one item was sweet potatoes I tried three time on the last try i told the attendant i could watch her and see how to do it she says oh know in Order to use self check out that I would have to do it I told her she could put the sweet potatoes back up that I did not want them. My family lives in a remote area within walking distance of a state park. You don't just drive to the grocery store to get eggs and bread. You have to plan your trips since the closest source of groceries is a convenience store inside a gas station, 4 miles away. The closest grocery store is 18 miles away. Having a Walmart in town is a luxury. This Walmart has a great food section. There are loaves of fresh baked bread for $1.00. I love visiting the clearance aisles & looking for super hero or Star Wars related apparel & accessories. I have visited two days in a row, just because I could. The employees are nice. read more

This Walmart is always very busy hard to find parking spots. Out of what I need a lot of times. Or doesn't have a good selection. Check outs are ok, can be busy at times. Tire and Auto motive Department needs work, their is a lady two different times has given poor service with me. I have been standing at the counter to check out or ask a question and she has looked right at me and walked off like she didn't see or hear me. I took my nephew in to buy his Christmas present. I wanted to buy him a 360 X box. No one was in the department. We talked around and went to the customer service department. No one turned around to look at us. I said excuse me. Is there any one working in thi department? They all turned and gave me dirty looks. One lady started walking out half way down the isle I said I want to buy an Xbox. She said well then I need a key. I said ok.. Finally a nother lady came out with the key with no knowledge of what I wanted to buy. I said I need an extra controller and a game. She had another employee check to make sure if all was compatible. Finally walked over to the register to ring it up. I said I need to buy some beer. Can I run over while you ring she said no I'll have to lock it back up. I said why ... I'm just going to run over there she said nope. I said can you carry it up front and I'll meet you there with my beer.. Again no I'll have to go lock it up again. Wow. I said ain't that some shit. She got mad and said please don't curse at me. I said I'm buying a 300 dollar item and you can't help me out for 5 minutes to buy one more thing?? Wow. NOPE!!! Needless to say, I didn't buy my beer. I Will never shop there again. Super ignorant and unacomodating. read more

I am so frustrated. I called the service department to see if they could repair a flat tire. The answer was yes, so I drove 20 minutes to Walmart. When I got there, the sales person said they were too full and could not repair it today. Horrible service. read more
