Customer service is fantastic, especially the weekday morning staff. They're always very good about being patient and taking my billion in-store and manufacturers' coupons, ExtraBucks Rewards, sales items, and gift cards, making sure I have given them everything to get a maximum discount. I usually get brand-name products at grocery stores but I've found CVS-brand items are excellent quality. I almost always buy CVS baby wipes, bathroom paper products, health products, and nuts (their flavored almond mixes is our favorite snack!). I've only been to the pharmacy a few times but the times I have interacted with them were good. They're knowledgeable and helped us save money on prescriptions.

Well I thought a person had the right to get his meds anywhere. Not per say all of them at the same place. My husband was very taken back and I'm surprised he didn't tell her to shove them where the sun don't shine. If KexRx portrays itself as a friendly hometown pharmacy I think something has changed since that statement was made. I would think twice before going to KexRx I thought cvs was bad at least they aren't rude.

I get the same medicine monthly-- it was time for my refill and I dropped the paper prescription off to them. I gave them three days to pick it up, they said they did not have it in stock. (A phone call would have been nice or even a heads up when I dropped of my written prescription that you didn't have it in stock so I could have taken it elsewhere to get it filled) I would have to wait an additional 4 days due to the holiday. (This is a medicine I could not go without) I asked for my paper prescription back and I took it elsewhere. When the other pharmacy tried filling it, the insurance said Kex Rx had already filled my order..... Hmmm what?!? No!!! It was such a headache. I questioned the new pharmacy why would Kex Rx run my insurance knowing they didn't have the medicine??? I went back and got all of my paper prescriptions they had on file to take them elsewhere.... They were not as friendly to me thereafter!

When you would call, you could just hear the "you are interrupting my work" in their voices. I am disabled and get very confused on some of my meds and had to call several times to get things straight (transferred from Hy-vee) and not once did they sound put off by my calls. I really appreciate the customer service there. The ladies are super nice and friendly, and Troy Pharmacist is SUPER nice and patient. He's never had a problem with going potty in the store but he had an accident right before we were going to walk out. Everyone was starring at me when I was asking to clean it up because I know it was my responsibility', one lady who worked there gave me a little bit of paper towels and I said thank you. As I had a little bit I needed more paper towels so I asked another lady who had a short gray bob and sounded like a mouse if I could have more to clean it up. Instead she didn't answer me pointed to a trashcan and I put what I had in the trash can but I need more so I said "could I please get some more and do you have any spray?". Instead she didn't say a word and just shoved the paper towels at me. Super rude! It's not like I walked away so you can pick up the shit! When we first walked in to the store as well we went to the bread section and there was another customer who was starring at us and was trying to also get to the bread. We moved so we can let him through and he instead just rushed around us and was making snarky remarks on how we didn't move. As if we didn't move, also there's a word and it's called "excuse me" if we didn't notice but we did. Today was the worst experience in that store and I have never had any other problems. I always say sorry, excuse me, I apologize anything like that to anyone if I'm in the wrong or in the way. If you have a stick up your ass and having a shitty day or just a grouch, don't gotta be rude to other people who are being nice. I know people give the pharmacy at University Health a bad review, but considering all the patients…read morethat go there it's one of the best in city. They do answer the phones, answer your questions and will actually work to get your prescription fille, ie talking to your insurance company and your doctor. Other locations won't even try most of the time. Only down side is they don't take outside prescriptions from doctors not in their system. for the most part they always have my medication in stock and when not it's ordered and available within a day or two. They are even willing to find other Walgreens if there is a medication they don't have and need right away. Other Walgreens won't take the time to do that. Also it's nice that they have more than one person to help you which the most other stores don't.
