Store had my size tires but couldn't balance them??? I called asking if they had that size in stock just to drive down there after getting a flat to waste my time. They could've asked more questions if that size tire would've been an issue. I wish I could give this location zero stars. read more

We try to avoid this walmart as much as possible. The service is terrible. Plus, you have to pay taxes on groceries in Oklahoma, so shopping at the Walmart just across the border in Gainesville, Texas is much cheaper. However, you can get Bone in Tomahawks here sometimes for less than $30 bucks. The parking is terrible & it's always a circus. Keep your guard up & your expectations low. I was so saddened today when I saw a customer who had a very small dog in her basket. The poor little animal was shaking uncontrollably as well as whimpering and the lady was scolding the dog saying I said no, hush, quit. Over and over. I know there is a lot to be said about support animals but support animals are trained to act and react accordingly and differently and not to respond to their surroundings. This poor little dog was so frightened of the environment, sounds and the entire situation. If Walmart or any retailer is going to allow support service animals, which I have no problem with, to enter the premises the patron should have to and be expected to show proof. Otherwise suck it up buttercup because animals experience feelings too and are at the mercy of their keepers and we are expected to treat and care for them, not the other way around. It was never meant to be that way. read more

I have been to this Wal-Mart out of necessity on numerous occasions. It is THE WORST WAL-MART in the world. It is constantly crowded, dirty, and the employees act like they hate working there. They are unfriendly, unhelpful, and constantly frowning. None of the shoppers there ever seem to be in a hurry, and it is hard to navigate around the aisles. read more

I'm just going to start this review off by saying that this Walmart has a freaking AUNTIE ANNE'S inside of it, which basically makes anything bad about this place at least 50% better. Just sayin'. The Walmart is, well, it's a Walmart. Considering there are literally only three grocery stores in Ardmore, I don't really feel like there's much to compare it to. There's nowhere else to get decent prices on paper goods, household goods, etc. So you're stuck. The Walmart has been mostly clean whenever I've visited, and the staff was relatively friendly considering it's a Walmart. Another reviewer mentioned that the shoppers never seem to be in much of a hurry and how it's difficult to navigate the aisles. This is really, really, REALLY accurate. People in Ardmore just don't seem like they're in a hurry to do, well, anything....ever. So just expect it. That being said, because it's one of three grocery stores that has to keep up with a town population of over 24,000 - it does a decent job. The shelves have always been stocked, even if there are hundreds of people trying to maneuver their way through the store. read more

I've been in Walmart in Ardmore twice in last year... Christmas Eve.. and last week. I do online shopping and pick up. Ppl that bring groceries out are very kind. I hate shopping anyway and not going to do it in there. I hate the fact they know our shopping is limited and they aren't customer friendly anyway... where do I start? If you drive or walk through the parking lot, you are putting your life at risk. If you are in a hurry, forget it and go home. People who shop there do not know how to make their kids behave, they run out in front of your cart or just stand in the way. The staff does not for the most part know where to direct you for an item. There is almost never an associate to even ask, guess they are all on break or hiding. I came from a city 10-15 times bigger than this one with only 4 supercenters in it and I will tell you that Ardmore walmart is the last place I ever want to go to. unfortunately this town does not offer much in choices for stores. love aldi, save a lot is ok but does not offer the variety, homeland is for the rich people in this town. I have travelled all over this country and been in Walmart everywhere I have gone and in between. NEVER have I seen a parking lot and store so bad. read more

Possibly the worse Walmart in the country I have ever been to. First I am tax free. Second I only got 6 items and at all the other Walmart a I have been to I have been able to go through self self checkout, but not here. I was sent to the regular check out lines which isn't a big other then they have only two open and five people with baskets full of stuff. I got here at 10:56 in line at 11:15 and now it's 23:44 and haven't even started checking out. Plain ridiculous, Walmart headquarters needs to come down here and evaluate this Walmart. read more

I go to this Walmart out of necessity. The town definitely needs a bigger WalMart. As far as staff goes, they could be more welcoming at the checkouts. To be hired at Walmart, one MUST have a smile. It is rare when I get someone friendly at checkouts. One thing I have taken notice is the Deli Department is short staffed at times. Although the staff in the Deli are very welcoming. They acknowledge you while you are waiting. This means ALOT to me! A lady named Glenda always smiles, greets you, does her work accurate, and moves on to the next. Telling the next person who arrives, she'll be with them in a bit, with that SMILE. I know I have had the opportunity of a gentleman there, and always GREAT customer service. HORAAY, for the Deli Dept.! Keep up the good work!! read more

Had an issue with a credit card charge. The CSR who was running the register, the Customer Service Manager and Assistant Manager Julie went out of their way to help me rectify this matter. They already had the stores end of the fiasco fixed but they went above and beyond to get me the necessary help and information I needed to deal with my card company. read more

We do not have many choices in Ardmore and this store knows it. Staff is hit or miss. Never enough checkouts open. Selection is limited. 'Ahem' Typical Walmart. read more
