OK I'm always upset at seeing one toilet seats at Walmart especially mega Walmart like this one. However I was surprised by the fact that they have toilet seat disposable covers. That's very hygienic and very thoughtful. Still it will not neutralize my anger at having only one toilet seat.... i'm sure there is a long story behind the mono toilet seat.... Parking lot was ample and plenty of business in this area so whatever you're looking for you'll find it at this Walmart or in the surrounding stores. The place was full of things unlike Covid times when stores look dead and empty and people are fearful. It was a positive Christmas vibe at the store from the entrance to leaving. And it looked very clean. I wanted to go in shopping but the fear of the corona forced me to leave after five minutes. Oh since it's a Walmart I always check if there's a police car outside, this one had none. It put a smile on my face and confidence within me entering the store. read more

The only good part about this experience was that we were able to find our groceries. Our cashier was and older lady with short dark brown hair and glasses. We get quite a few groceries normally, but beside the point, her customer service was rude and unprofessional. My husband and I have a routine when it comes to getting our groceries checked out. He will help me put the groceries on the checkout, and I will unload the bags at the end, while he is patiently waiting to pay. Now this particular cashier seemed pretty sick, coughing and coughing, and didn't look like she was supposed to be working with the condition she was in. In the middle of the transaction, she asks if we are together, and of course we say "yes", and she just looks down and lets out a rude "hmph". Lady, it doesn't take 2 people to unload groceries into the cart, they are on a spinning carousal, and the person just takes them off, and puts them in the cart, nothing hard about that. When my husband is paying she snidely wanted to thank ME for helping unload. It would of been nice if she would of shut up and kept her opinions to herself, yes, we had a bit of groceries, but you shouldn't be working as a cashier if you can't keep up with the fast. I will always try to go to self check out, since I can ring up my own groceries, without having any interference. read more

As I quickly searched the clearance aisles for pioneer woman Christmas items for my fabulous almost 14 year old daughter, I happily found order instead of chaos, smiles from the helpful workers, and easy to get around aisles and checkout lanes. I was able to get in and out in a short amount of time, which seems rare at most Walmart's I have been to. Very pleased...very very pleased! read more

I went to the Walmart in Alexandria MN on Thanksgiving evening to partake in the "Black Friday" deals with my whole family.  We went for a multitude of different sale items one of which being a new "Straight Talk" phone for my boyfriend (an early Christmas gift from my mother). Upon checking out we were asked if we wanted the "extended warranty/service replacement plan" for the phone (original price $99.00 sale price 19.99). We were told that the phone would be repaired/replaced if it was damaged in some way, so we opted for the extension.  We were so impressed with the phone deal and the combined service plan that when we went back with my mother on Black Friday we purchased the same phone for my Father. Again we were told of the extendable warranty/service/replacement plan and purchased it. Fast forward to today (December 6, 2016), I called on the service plan as my boyfriend sat on the phone and the screen display no longer works. The man on the phone told me all they can do for me is issue me a store credit for the purchase price of the phone as it is such a cheap phone they can't afford to replace or repair it. When I tell him that we purchased the warranty with the understanding that water damage and breakage is covered; he stated I was told wrong they do not replace or repair these phones. When I then asked for and was connected to a supervisor she also said there was nothing they could do but refund me the purchase price of the phone via a store credit. When I told her it was an expensive phone we got on sale and purchased the warranty to cover such issues she again only said she could refund the phone price. Even when I told her we had gone in and bought another phone and "warranty" for the value we thought we were getting, that it was ridiculous that we were told it would be covered, and that I know have to go buy a new phone which will not be on sale she had nothing to say. This is by far some of the worst customer service I have experienced quite some time. I feel that we were lied to, to get the up sale of the "Warranty" "Service Plan" and that up sale is all that Walmart cares about. I will no longer be purchasing any sort of "Warranty" from Walmart and will be letting everyone I know who shops Walmart for high end sale items to beware! read more
