First off I'm going to start this review by stating my sister is a store manager for a Maurices…read morestore in Michigan so I know what is required of the employees. I came here with My boyfriends family there were 4 of us. Upon walking in not a single employee greeted us or asked us if we needed help. Two of the employees stood pretending to straighten clothing on the racks chit chatting with each other. We looked around while my boyfriends sister looked at some clothes. During this time two employees apparently thinking that my boyfriend and I look strange pointed and laughed it was pretty obvious and completely rude. How about instead of focusing on the fact that you don't know how to dress and we do you try to help the other customers in the store. Employees should not be socializing on the floor while there are 8+ customers in the store and should NEVER be making fun of customers. I worked in retail for 7 years I know what is expected of employees especially Maurices employees being my sister is a store manager for one. Maurices takes pride in giving great friendly customer service I will be reporting this store to corporate as well as a description of the girls I'm sure they wont be happy to hear about it.

Our experience could not have been better. She helped us find a dress that was perfect and helped my friend feel confident and beautiful. We could not have asked for more. If there were zero stars, I would rank Jackie J's that low…read more I called on a Monday to see if they had four specific dresses I was looking for. I was told that they had each of the dresses and could pull them for me to try on. On Saturday, I drove the 2.5 hours from my home for my appointment, only to find that they only had one of the four dresses I had been promised. Instead of expressing remorse, the salesperson said, "well we don't have those!" and left me to try on "similar" dresses that were, in fact, quite dissimilar. Adding insult to injury, each of the dresses I was able to try on was so many sizes too large that I couldn't even tell what they would have looked like.
