I explained to him that I wanted black appliances and he begins to tell me that they are out of style. Can you imagine the look on my face when he said that! I was not even able to get out black stainless and he tells me out of style. Fast forward, I do all the leg work and and find what we want. He orders it and says four to six weeks at best. Never heard from him again. Called him and said a phone call with a follow up would have been nice. Said he would, still no follow up. I had to call myself and find out when will we receive the rest of our order. Another 4 weeks. So in total 10 weeks and counting.......nothing. Now I have to wait till middle of July. I bought a Green house kit from this store in Feb 2014 and am sorely disappointed in the quality of…read morethe product which is sold as a Do It Yourself kit. The small instruction manual (published in both French and English) consists of the most basic of line drawings and does not make details like grooves and channels or placement of nuts and bolts clear to see. When I got my 6'x 8' kit out of the box, I was surprised to learn that it only stands 6 ' high at the peak which means that any user would need to stoop constantly while inside. I thought that I would just put it on a higher foundation and get increase height that way. That leads me to the real problem. This kit is impossible for one or two people to put together and is unlike any other kit that I have seen outside of the box at Lowes, Menard's etc. You are supposed to erect the back and front walls first, but when you do they are literally flapping in the wind and fall apart. Of course, I tried anchoring the ends, but that doesn't lend itself to working on it and if any wind comes up overnight, it means starting again again the next day. Actually, I have found that the directions are so bad that erecting just two complete ends is impossible. Directions give no angles for the roof or measurements to go by. Its just a trial and error thing. so my hands cramp up terribly and after a day or two working on it my hands give me so much pain that I have given up. So has my grown up son, my helper. This greenhouse was a dream for use in retirement and is just a disaster. TSC Stores sold me a real piece of crap for $400. and tax. Lesson learned. Not my favourite store any more. I accept that I have my limitations, but this is sold as an "anyone can do it product." I believe that the vast majority of people could not build it and note that TSC has not erected a sample green house as other local suppliers do.

It's a great shop for stocking stuffers for that hard to buy for person on everybody's list. Terri the owner is super helpful and knowledgeable if you are buying for you knitting nut in the family. On more then one occasion I have felt like a bother and an inconvenience. I witnessed one worker rolling her eyes behind a customers back and laughing with her co-worker over the customer. I feel it's an uncomfortable enviromental and makes me feel awkward when I am there. I admit, I really love the purses and handbags, but I don't know if it is really worth giving them my business. Call it Spring needs to look into some serious change. Starting by changing up the one in charge of hiring. It can't be hard to find someone with a little positive energy and personality (At least a couple girls or guys) That could change up the whole feel and re energized the place. However, after 4 years of use, an incident occurred. While my wife was seated on the sofa in its reclined position, the back suddenly broke, causing her to fall on her back. Concerned, I initiated a warranty claim only to face utter disappointment. The warranty claim was summarily denied, citing 'Willful abuse, neglect or misuse of the Product' Despite my persistent efforts to seek clarification, the store representatives, including Courtney and Alex, displayed dismissive attitudes. Their explanations bordered on incredulity, suggesting either that we exerted excessive force, which isn't covered, or that we should have noticed a potential issue earlier, which we couldn't have as the sofa is sealed, concealing any internal damage, they stated "Failure to file a claim within 14 days (as this can impact our ability to repair/replace the Product);". After numerous attempts to reason with the store, the manager finally offered a settlement, albeit an unsatisfactory one. They offered 60% of what I have paid, but they refused to repair the sofa, claiming it would be more expensive than replacing it. They have the same sofa available, but I would have to pay the difference based on today's price. I feel cheated by The Brick and I don't recommend anyone to buy products there because of the bad quality and cheap tactics to charge for extended warranties and not cover it when we need

I did and they left. Yesterday I had help to remove the mattress off the foundation as I can't lift it myself. I am a senior on my own with a bad back. Surprise! Big rip and a whole in the cover of the foundation. I spoke with Courtney and then her superior Craig from the brick. Got no satisfaction at all. Unwavering in their flat response of "you signed the paper". Hard lessened learned but from now on I will be standing right on top of the delivery people and inspecting every inch of every product. Very poor business standards. Do not shop at the Brick!

I was in Sarnia a few weeks ago on company business. After the first day, several members of our team were told that they needed to buy a pair of safety shoes that were CSA (Canadian Safety Association) approved. That didn't include me, for as a so called "Closet Canadian" (by my friends on both sides of the border), I had already figured that out and had my pair long in hand. In Sarnia, there is only one real place for your safety shoe needs - Mark's Work Warehouse. It's a Canadian chain and I believe that it's a sister company of Canadian Tire. They also offer a large selection of related work clothing such as pants, shirts, socks, etc. We came in fairly near closing time at this Lambton Mall location. Store staff was very helpful and friendly and were probably pleased that they made their shoe quota for the day so quickly.

Even if the books are a hundred years old, they are still offered at 4 bucks! Not really meant for bulk business, I think, but any needs one or all may have for their reading enjoyment, this store will come close or hold the title. For textual archival enjoyment or just to check out what's happening, Houde Family Books is a great find. It's family run just like the sign says, has a good kids section and a few other mysteries other than books...
