Worst customer service ever. Made a $44 order for balloons and weights for my son's birthday party (3 dozen latex balloons, 5 foil balloons and 10 weights) to be picked up at 11am. I was told that the balloons would be tied closely to the balloon weights, as they don't use clips, to keep the balloons from being too tangled. my husband picked them up, as I was seeing up for the party. The balloons were not tied close to the weights, resulting in 2 massive sets of tangled balloons that were impossible to untangle. The balloons themselves were so poorly tied that several flew off the ribbons as soon as he walked out of the store. I was not able to call about the issue until after the party, as I had 60 people to set up for, with the party starting at 12pm. I called Dollar Treasure as soon as the party ended, but was told to call back the next day because the owner (or any manager) was not in. When calling today, the owner, "Frank" (refused to give his last name but claims to be the owner), was less than concerned. He indicated that as soon as they left the store, the problem was not theirs. He stated I should have called immediately, ignoring the fact that I still had a party to get ready for. Of course, I should forget everything else I had to do to worry about the balloons, because his staff failed to provide a service I had paid for. "Frank" could only say that in 7 years, he's never had this happen, because of course I'm lying. I've been a customer for years and have used them for balloons several times, always returning, until now. I'd much rather go pay twice the amount at Party City if I'll be treated as if my business and orders matter. Clearly "Frank" does not care about his customers, no sort of compensation was offered and he hung up on me after again stating it wasn't their problem. I'll never return and I will file a complaint with the BBB. The resident agent for this company is "Firas Elias", I wonder if he knows how people are being treated, or if this person is actually "Frank". Customers beware... read more
