My mom bought something from this Walmart for my baby cousin, and when she got home, she realized she forgot to pick it up from the cashier! So she went back, and even though it was her fault for forgetting to bring it home, a lovely woman named Anousha helped her out SO much. She looked all over the Walmart for the item, (there was only 1 left) and when she could not find it, she still insisted on helping my mom out in some way. She said that it is not Walmart's responsibility, but just to ensure satisfaction, she gave my mom $5 credit. It might not seem like much but her helping out a customer for something that wasn't even Walmart's doing was so above and beyond, and I wanted to shout her out for that. This location always has huge line up when I go in. Usually in the afternoon/evening time. One night I went in and the express check out had one cashier and the line was going pretty much to the produce section. They have a huge variety of products that other locations don't seem to have. Ive been able to find box hair dye shades which I haven't been able to locate at other walmarts or even shoppers drug mart. Its always super busy. The produce stock is good and rarely ever go in disappointed with not being able to find what I'm looking for. read more

Terrible Service!! Tried to purchase a product that was advertised online as $68.88 but it came out to $98.88 in store. I even showed them the price difference online on my phone and yet they would not price match. The store manager tried to feed me some bullshit that the prices online can be different and if I wanted that item I had to order it online? Are you kidding me!! Walmart has a policy to price match other companies yet they would not price match their own website? (and yes I made sure it was the Canadian website not the American) This is a load of crap and it's complete bullshit. Wasted my time. read more

This place is crammed with people, and really really bad drivers as well. I just witnessed a hit and run in the parking lot this past Saturday afternoon and that woman just dashed away so quickly. After seeing that, I am very afraid of parking there anymore. And if you are the owner of that poor Odyssey, you might be able to get some info from the surveillance cameras around the Wal-Mart, Best-buy or Petsmart area. read more

Walmart is a good place to shop for stuff, but there is not that much sales, and it is just not the best place to shop at.

This is the worst Walmart experience ever! (Store- #1116, richmond hill supercentre) When my husband and I enter the front entrance with the router I just bought couple min ago from best buy next door, the alarm went off. I stood there and waited, then showed the receipt to the lady later claimed to be the manager. She checked the receipt very thoroughly for five min and was still trying to figure out god knows what. I explained that is bought from best buy next door just a min ago. She said its her job to check. Well, we followed her to the service counter, she scanned the bar code on the box, nothing showed up. WHat was on her mind? she still think that could be the walmart stuff?! Then she asked help from other staff, and she literally said "they were trying to bring this out of store"! Yes, she said that in front of me and two lines of customers standing next to me. Thats why she was so determined even the receipt is matched and they cant find record in their system. I corrected her that we were entering with the stuff we bought from other store. Being ignored again. I was embarrassed but angry even more! This is not the way anyone should be treated. So humiliating! I was upset and questioned her, she denied that she thought we were stealing. Oh, yeah, then what was all this about?! Leaving Without getting a proper apology, I advised her to do a better job, this walmart police manager lady still insisted that she was doing just fine. To be fair, this is the first really bad experience I had with Walmart in the past. Most Walmart staff are nice and considerate. But this Lady Manager( "M....a" on her name tag. When I asked her name and said I will file complaint to the company, she just pointed to her name tag with no words as I was the one behaving so ridiculously) is really an exception. She does not deserve her job. I can not imagine how walmart could promote such person with zero respect towards customers , poor communication skill and rude attitude as a store manager. read more

I only come to this Walmart because it has groceries when I need it and because it's close by when visiting the boyfriend. Other than that, I would say the service here is horrible, which is why I give this location a two star. The last time I came here, I was getting a greeting card and some mints and the cashier that was serving me was so rude. First off, she was talking in another language with another customer as she was serving me without greeting me as I approached her with my items. Then, as she was scanning the items while talking to the other customer, I noticed that the five packs of mints that I picked up were ringing in at a higher price. She asked me where I found the mints at that price and I told her I picked them up near the cash register in aisle eight. She physically wanted me to walk with her to show her so I did. But before I was able to show her where, she asked me to follow her where she found the mints in the express aisle where she wanted me to come around, so SHE could show me the price to prove me wrong and that it was ringing in correctly. She called me over saying, "Can you come around?" like I was some kind of dog while a whole line of people were waiting in line to be served, how embarrassing. After she called me around and I told her it wasn't there that I saw it at that price and showed her it was in another aisle, she ran back to the her cash register. Walmart has a "scanner policy" which basically is, if the item that you are purchasing is scanned in at the wrong price, you get the item free (as long as it is under $10). She was then annoyed that she had to call her manager to void the whole transaction, rolling her eyes at me. After scanning everything again she gave me my total, which was drastically higher than what I would have imagined it to be, being as I was only purchasing a greeting card and mints. I questioned her and she gave me so much attitude when explaining that I only get one pack of mints free. So I decided not to take them the rest of the mints and I handed her cash to pay for my transaction and before I could give her the exact change, she already processed the payment and gave me my change and threw my receipt at me. Like I mentioned before, I only come here for groceries and last minute or emergency shopping, otherwise I'd rather shop at a different Walmart. read more

The Walmart cashiers at this location are always friendly, managers always smile, men who work in produce are very helpful. The only downside is the McDonalds in the Walmart. It is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to, the customer service is horrible, all the staff are rude and nasty. They should hire great people like the employees in the actual store, but my advice for the Walmart management is to get rid of the McDonalds and put in a Tim Hortons read more
